Leaders And Readers
by
Agathamay
on 06/10/2022, 15:35:00 UTC
I thought the group would like this...
Let me start by appreciating our leader's and readers, both have tremendous impacts on man's life.
Leaders learn principles to carry on a task, this process is achieved through reading.when this habits is inculcated your mindset is influenced and improved in the society as well. Thus a leader  is a person who leads and have authority to direct.
Oxford dictionary will.have it that a reader is a person who reads and recites, but it's a way far beyond that because readers are influencers of what they read.when you read your intellectually inclined and informed,so in order to be a good leader you need to invest a maxi percentage in reading and developing yourself to carry on the task at hand.
    Here a Clarified difference of both is that;
A Reader think to Grow while
                                                                             A Leader read to lead.
Fortunately,we can learn the keys to success from both perception.the books you read motivates and lay impacts on you.you can't be a good leader intellectually wise if your not a good reader. Let me drive it to this forum now,if we don't read to get informed of a knowledge we end up being deformed.
A leader can also be a good reader in the sense that he has assimilated a positive reading habits which has developed and impacted him.and thus making it his lifestyle.and again, not all leaders are readers because they want to bear a name without making a name.
In conclusion,I'm urging that a good Leader-reading habits can be achieved by effectively analysing and practising what you've assimilated while reading, and accomplishing it.having done this;this is when good praises and honour are given to the leader's from their subject's because here now he has read, think, grow, and acted.
So I advice we all should inculcate a good reading habits to develop ourselves and society.

Teach Children Financial Education

Over the years, and now the percentage for education have increased massively and it is being taught in school mostly but the subject or topic FINANCIAL EDUCATION and how to go about it is muted. Why?? And I believe strongly that most rich have been able to bring up the topic at home and they expose it while they are on a round Table..
We are in a fast paced Global world now that everything is  changing rapidly, regardless financial education should be introduced as a topic or a knowledge to be empowered to the children while growing up.Like me.now,as a woman while bringing up kids..I'll make sure I give them the basic highlights of the knowledge on Financial education to my kids in order to groom their mindsets and everything so they will get the knowledge on how to tackle issues relating to that.
With this it will inculcate a nurtured desire and also financial stability and build them to be financially inclined from tender age.and I advice it should be utilised  and implemented.

Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country
by
Agathamay
on 05/07/2022, 06:12:52 UTC
Investing is Widespread now in the Society such that the Inability of not Investing, is Paving a room for not Benefitting from the Outcome.
And Right now Investing in Crypto is a yardstick of measurement and has created an opportunity that's reliable and trusted..
But I really can't tell how thus Investing in The Economy will help one's Country.
There's always an advantage from investing, but somehow investing like in crypto is much risky and could even result into losses than making profits once not managed properly. However, with any types of investment, its goal is to create economic prosperity and the total welfare of the country. It increases the  country's revenue which i think is a very good thing that contributes to the country's economic growth and development.
That's true...
Thank you so much for your opinion.

Re: Difference Between Bitcoin and Crypto currency
by
Agathamay
on 25/06/2022, 11:01:18 UTC
I will answer you in two ways:

The general perception:
Cryptocurrency is the family name, while bitcoin is the Head of the family. Which means that bitcoin is a big part of the family. The other members of the family are existing because the head of the family (bitcoin)is existing. The family is so united such that is the head is sick, other members of the family will be sick with him. If the head eventually becomes richer, the wealth will reach other members of the family. But there is something unfair; if any other member of the family is sick, the head will not go into sickness with him.

My personal perception

Cryptocurrency = BTC + Altcoins
Cryptocurrency - Altcoins = BTC

But Cryptocurrency - Bitcoin = 0.
I Think this explanation has broken down everything for my consumption.
Thanks for the Opinion, have gotten that straight.

Re: Pay in rubles or have your gas shut off by April
by
Agathamay
on 05/04/2022, 12:41:34 UTC
Russia walked this backed: https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/russia-will-not-demand-immediate-switch-gas-payments-roubles-kremlin-2022-03-30/

Their messaging is confusing and their economy is too fragile to further restrict themselves from global commerce, so you can expect something like this to not go through. It sounded like an empty threat from the start and a mere desperate attempt to avoid sanctions. Appears Russia still has India and China open to them for unrestricted trading, but they cannot reasonable expect to cut off trading from the rest of Europe and keep their economy afloat.

Yeah, I don't expect them to just shut it off. This is more posturing but they might eventually go on with it in the future. After all this means they'd be getting Euros in exchange.

The action of shutting off would really be not immediate as there are some existing contracts that need to be filled.
Maybe, after those contracts expired, European countries will assess the situation and push thru the shutting down of Russian services.
But if they can't find immediate alternatives or replacement, they may possibly continue to pay Russia, but now in rubles.
They will definitely weight the situation, but they won't be shutting down Russian gas if they can't find alternatives.

Turning off the gas is a serious technical problem.

The equipment can function effectively only in the process of uninterrupted gas supplies to Europe.  In a situation where such supplies are completely stopped, technical problems will arise.  Pipes will begin to rust and will have to be replaced.

At the same time, in the context of sanctions and currency restrictions, there are no resources for the implementation of such investment projects.

Equipment conservation is always a financially costly undertaking.  Significant additional costs arise in the event of shutdown and conservation of the gas distribution system.

At the same time, it should be noted that Russia currently does not profit from gas trading.  Russia profits solely from the sale of crude oil.

It could be easy to shut off these pipelines as easily as it is to operate. It only needs proper and regular maintainace to keep it in good shape. I don't see any technical problems that may arise.

Re: Putin is committing murder every day

Putin should immediately stop his war  Angry

He is committing crimes every day, kills civilians a lot and his Russia should be demilitarized!
We need to make it very clear to demand from Putin: stop Putin's war because we will help Ukraine.

Russia kills Ukraine civilians every day: https://twitter.com/christogrozev/status/1501179216649408515?cxt=HHwWhsCyieiiodUpAAAA

We need international law here to punish Putin for his war crimes!
I thought by now Putin would have called off this war against the innocent civilians of UKRAINE following the sanctions he has received so far from the US and other Countries but he has continued to kill and order the killings of innocent civilians of Ukraine, I hope Putin will not escape the punishment of this crime has committed and keeps committing every day.

Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16!
by

Inter Milan were on the attacking side through out the night. The ball was a free ball, wasn't in Liverpool possession. Maybe Liverpool was playing for a draw, knowingly they had a 2-0 advantage on aggregate of their first leg win. Inter Milan on the other hand wanted to win but 1-0 win wasn't enough for them to advance. I was impressed with Inter Milan for playing as well as they did with 10men for a third of the game. Liverpool were just lucky, they would have been eliminated if it wasn't for Alexis Sanchez's red card. Alexis Sanchez was unlucky, he really did wanted his team to go through but not to be, they should now fully focus on the Scudetto.

Inter Milan proved many soccer pundits and analysts wrong having been given a very slim chances of defeating Liverpool at Anfield, however much credit should be given to them for playing an attacking football and a brilliant finishing by Martinez who curled the ball pass Alisson lead to their goal, though Liverpool hits the woodwork thrice which could have change the scoreline had they scored those scoring opportunities, however when Sanchez was sent off for a bad tackle, that reduced the chances of Inter scoring their second goal that could have possibly forced the match to extra time, they are quite unlucky.
I Agree with you on this inter Milan really played a good football last night despite not making it to the next stage.
Several pundits, soccer experts and football analysts were disappointed with the outcome of the result because they felt that Liverpool will trash inter Milan at Anfield. From the starting of the game till it ended inter played well and Liverpool did a great job too by defending and attacking really good beause had it been they felt relaxed, they would have been out by now.
