somebody can tell how much coins you get for coin shield XSH.
That would also be interesting
Hello, I was (solo) mining XSH up to 2-3 days ago. I was earning about 900-1000 per day, something less, something more. Unfortunately, now difficulty is higher, but I will try again.
Hello,
which pool you took down shield at. Mining Dutch? If so, what did you enter at port difficulty.
Here is someone who can tell me if it is possible to switch automatically between coins on Mining Dutch depending on profitability.
If so, what has to be set at Baikal.
mining dutch has a multiport server which automatically switches you to the most profitable coin but only on one algo - go the 'getting started' page and you will see the url - just input the varidiff stratum and your worker into your baikal setup page and you are good to go
Hey just wanted to share my recent results from minining on Starpool off and on this weekend. I've had it pointed to starpool for about the last ~22 hours and I've earned just about .0032 btc. At one point it was on track to earn nearly .001/hr. The pool definitely pays out in bursts and sometimes Nicehash may seem higher temporaility but I think after a week I will see this paying out more overall than nicehash but will keep you all posted.
The pool works like this. There's a bit of luck involved. You hash on a Algorithm, when it finds a block (which is based on luck) it will credit the block out based on how much hash you provided to finding it, which can be seen in your wallet dashboard. Some days it finds more blocks than others. Yesterday there was higher orphans than usual on quark, I already asked the dev about it and he's looking into it.
The advantage Starpool has is it has every coin for every algo so it will point you to the least difficult coins and should maximize your finding potential. But you have to keep in mind it only increases your chances, blocks could be found on other algos even though they're more difficult and you would miss out on getting paid because you were hashing a different algo.
So in essence Starpool you need to count on a little luck. But in the end it has been paying more than nicehash for the week I have averaged. Sometimes it pays very high and get's double blocks, other times when the difficulty is high you find fewer blocks. But all in all I have averaged near 40 per miner for the week and I will be staying on the pool as I feel like it has higher potential than nicehash. You have to also keep in mind the price of bitcoin has been increasing you get less btc on the exchange but dollar wise you end up being around the same.
Basicly nothing is guaranteed on Starpool but has higher earning potential but nicehash is a safer more steady and predictable payout.
Thanks for the tips guys. Definitely depends on luck - but gonna give this a go and stick with it.
My hero. I had assumed that since the pools said they auto-adjusted the difficulty, I wouldn't need to set it manually, but this setting worked. Thanks!
I have the same issue with my X10
Where I suppose insert the d=88 ?
Thanks
into password
Hi Sorry but I am little bit confuse.....
I am mining on xvg-mg.suprnova and the password is the worker password.
Is this will work on xvg-mg.suprnova? If YES, inside the password space I need wrote: cicciod=88 (my password and d=88) ?
So I am reading that people are doing between 20$ and 60$ per machine per day in that starpool. So for simplicity lets say it is around average of 40$. Is there anyone who can confirm (eventually with a SS) that made two days in a row, or more, more than 50$ per machine per day?
i have provided a few ss of 50 a day. i'm now doing a weekly avg. so far i'm avg 45 a day goes as low as 35 a day as high as close to 60
Apologies if you have already provided this but can you please confirm the entry in the password box.

Depends on how many blocks you find, you can be lucky one day and not so lucky the next. You can't put a daily average on it.
You tell the pool, with password options, which algos you want. For your miner only 1 line in your pool list will be reachable. You should have no other pools than starpool in your list.
Lets say skein is the most profitable algo, then all other algos wont be reachable by your miner. So its mining on skein. If skein is not the most profitable anymore, but quark, then the pool will not be reachable for skein anymore. But now its reachable at quark algo. So your miner switch to the next line in your pool list. Is the next line not quark but myr-gr, it will not be reachable also. Next line in your pool list is quark... and its reachable. So miner is working on quark now.
Quark not most profitable algo anymore: Pool will not answer for your quark line anymore. Miner switch to your next line. Is it correct algo, pool will answer and provide data. If its not correct Algo, pool wont answer and miner jumps to next pool line.
I hope I am right with this... Any other opinions? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
for the username i.e. wallet address I assume you use a litecoin wallet address (although on the pool it says that you need a valid BTC address)?
will try to find used one if anyone sells.... btw - can it mine Verge (XVG)? hashrate for this coin is 10k g/h? or 5k? whattomine shows 50$ per day now
X10 can mine XVG using the myriad groestl algo. Try supernova and mining Dutch pools
guys my X10 shows nicehash Pool as dead , it is surely not dead how do I unstuck it ? thanks a lot!
Have you put your nice hash wallet address correctly. The stratum is already included in the x10 interface. Just click nice hash on the left hand side. Then choose quark as your priority 0.
Pretty crazy Baikal is charging 7K x 6 miners when return per day has gone down. According to what to mine $45 per day. Then is you factor in Market volatility you may be waiting for ROI for a year or more. Greed is a terrible thing. Maybe Baikal is just trying to cash in.
It's mining much more than that. That is why.
No it isn't. At least anymore.
Right at this moment getting $80 on nice hash with bitcoin at a lowly $10k.

Obviously market forces are dictating the prices so no problems with that. However guys do consider the alternatives especially gpu miners. Also less risky. I hate gpu rigs but even I'm considering building one purely due to the overheated asic market. The giant b is so risky it's not with the gamble.

Re: Baikal Miner Giant B Group Buy batch 3 sold out
Huge availability of giant b from the Malaysian sellers. Almost half what they are being hawked for on here!!! You can even go out there, have a holiday and pick them up personally and still save $8k a unit.
Hey do you know a trusted Malaysian seller? I might be going there in a few weeks.
Facebook has plenty just do a search or try the Top Mining Malaysia Group. They all do cash on pickup so mitigates the risk and most are registered businesses.
