Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone
by

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
Oh my gosh! If you going surprise me and given me a gift of 1 bitcoin well it's so unexpected because knowing the value of bitcoin is totally great. For me if you given me that gift I just keep it maybe a long but if necessary I will convert it without hesitation and cash it out all the way but to be honest and being practical I would rather keep it I don't know how long it takes but to make sure that your guft will be worth it you know and convert it when the exchange of it will be a better price.

Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Kids now a days are very teachable abd knowledgeable especially technology and gadgets involve it is easy for parents to caught their attentions with that strategy because obviously kids loves to play all the time. Since kids in our generation our very exposed in technologies it's easy for them to catch up like what you like do introduce to other kids a game puzzle which they will solve and coming up with internet money I though you use catchy ganes with their favorite animation characters.

Re: Some things to consider before starting a business

Now we can see a lot of business opportunities that exist around us, be it pure online business or offline business that is go online. However, the number of business opportunities does not necessarily allow us to choose and run the business we want.

There are a few things we need to consider and start preparing the business prepares capital, the second prepares the workforce, the third is the provision of raw materials as well as the techniques in running the business, marketing the business optimally, then profit a business, risk a business, concerning business competition and pay attention to the latest business management is the facility and the fringe
The things to consider in creating a business is the capital needed, finding the perfect location or workplace, what the possible business will be and the products or services that you will sell to the customers. You should also consider the customers preferences, wants and needs because it may affect your future venture and also the latest trend in the market in that way you will know what's the best product or service that you will give to your futuristic customers.

Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?
by
Aismabbs
on 01/10/2017, 00:24:02 UTC
This question is being asked many times on this forum. You can check the answers and most of them will suggest you to save/hold/reinvest your bitcoins for longer times. Now as you stated that you kept 13 cents and it became 50 cents after 7 months or so. Well that change you may find very little but with bigger investments you get bigger returns. Also, you must invest with right time, such as bitcoin price at lower side, this means you will get more bitcoins in less amount spent. Also, when the price increases the same amount of bitcoin will have more dollar value. Thats very easy calculation but basis of how you invest. Household really hold it.
In my own opinion it is depend upon the choice of every person but for me every person has it's own wants and needs and spending money is normal especially when you hard work for it it's necessary that we buy ourselves because it serves as our reward for our hard working but we should know our limits spending money is okay but we let's not forget to save for our future so that we don't regret in the near future.

Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens?
by

on 28/09/2017, 02:13:48 UTC
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?
It's a personal choice if you want to involve in bitcoin. If you are not into technologies or just something about gadgets then probably your do not know what all the functions of it. Maybe some people heard about what bitcoin is but they not interested at it. I think professional personalities don't want to involve such things as bitcoin because they don't have enough time to spend in.

No ethereum a scam? I dont think so. As a matter of fact ethereum is the most successful altcoins in this world. They are the highest value when we talk about alternative cryptocurrency. And they are now a scam how can I say so? I've been using eth for a long time and I have a lot of investment in that coins that why I can assure you that it is not a scam. Their value might fall a little because of the phenomenahappens in chinabut after that I'm sure that they will recover. They might not pass the bitcoins still in the altcoin eth are the best.

If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?

Why choose from the two if you can always do both of them. Bitcoins, we all knwobthay bitcoins are considered the one of the successful investment here in the world. But today bitcoins are dropping its value that leads to a world wide panic. It is because of the china banninemg all the cryptocurrency in their country. On the other hand, altcoins it is hard to find a reliable altcoins instead of ethereum, for me ethereum is only the one who have a potential in the altcoin industry. So my advice for a long time bitcoins and ethereum.

Re: Are We Dead Without China?
by
Aismabbs
on 25/09/2017, 11:31:03 UTC
China has become the powerhouse for Bitcoin (and the whole cryptocurrency in general) as it is hosting many Bitcoin miners due to cheaper electricity and maybe also cheap labors. China also boasts of probably millions of Bitcoin owners and traders who are influencing the moves of the market on day to-day basis. As far as acceptance of Bitcoin in China, it is comfortably good until such time when the government decided that it is time to intervene.

In general, the Chinese government is not comfortable with Bitcoin as it indeed representing a different currency that they can not control with. since Bitcoin is decentralized it would be hard for the government to make interventions and so they are thinking that maybe it is time to ban it altogether. The government can not kill Bitcoin but what they are doing is actually closing the country as a market for Bitcoin.

So the question is: Can Bitcoin survive without China? In case, it can't then then there is something wrong with it since it is not resilient to ride the big storm it is in.

Of course we can, bitcoins are powerful. Yes china is a big country thats why the value drops that huge amount. But it is just the same old nightmare like what happened before the segwit. When the value drops doesn't mean that the bitcoins will be destroyed. This is a nig company and besides there are still countries who are using it like us. And those country who are using it are more dominant than those country who banned it. I know it only takes time for the bitcoins to recover and they need a lot more support in us in this time. Dont give up on bitcoins.

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?
by
Aismabbs
on 25/09/2017, 02:01:20 UTC
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

For me its yes, although a lot of it are just shit coins but there are still coins that are successful that have a future. Just like ethereum. That is a very successful altcoin and for me, it had a lot of potential. In fact, I see bitcoins in them before, but we all know that ethereum cannot surpass bitcoins because bitcoins are too far to reach. They might inflate as rime goes by but if that happens bitcoins value also inflates. But when you talk about altcoins. That would be ethereum, a great investment for me if you are looking for altcoins.

by

on 24/09/2017, 23:48:38 UTC
Should I stop buying BTC for above market value or should I start paying the listed price? I support Bitcoin and still pay 5k a BTC does anyone see bitcoin going back up?

Why would you stop now? Because of the banning of chinese? That is not an excuse you are not living in china which means you can use cryptocurrency anytime you want so why stop buying btc if you have some ectra money. It is a good start for a huge profit because bitcoins value is lower than before so if you buy a lot from today. After the pump you are going to be an instant richman. If and only if you invest a lot of it. But if you do not invest nothing will lose to you but you will just missed the huge profit you should have ife you just trust me.

Re: Job Vs Bitcoin

Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin
In my own opinion you should not quit your permament job just for bitcoin beacause it's just temporary. What I'm trying to say is that what if bitcoin don't exists anymore you don't have the capabilities for your financial aspects your family basic needs and just consider the reality when it comes in work it is also important that we have skills and can apply in our work. But it's just my opinion the choice is yours.

by

on 22/09/2017, 03:35:27 UTC
I heard it back in 2011 where in there was a huge hype of mining Bitcoin using GPU's and there were numerous facebook groups where they posted they rigs and also had many tutorials for other to follow or even customize their rigs in order to work better.
I was heard first about bitcoin last year my former classmates talking about it but its kinda weird for me because you can have money by just posting in a campaign stuff and I just ignored it. It's a scam for me but then when my close friend indroduce and explain whats bitcoin is then I understand it I decided to join fir extra income since I'm a student only.

Re: Effects of ICO ban in China
by
Aismabbs
on 18/09/2017, 23:22:03 UTC
What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?

Tell me what you think about any of these.  Smiley

That is very unfortunate ro us investors on icos. Because banning it in china makes the value falls. Because no one is china have an access to it which means the population of cryptos had reduced. And that leads to deflation of the altcoin value and even the bitcoins. May are panicking that this might be the end of all of these. But I suggest that this is just part of the challenges that the cryptocurrency will experience.

by

on 18/09/2017, 15:06:33 UTC
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

In this industry saving money is just like investing it. Because bitcoins value are not stable just like our country money or current rather. By just simply holding a bitcoins in your wallet can gave you profit if the value rises but remember that it can always fall just like any other coins. The good thing about bitcoins was their value will always rise back again if they fall. They might drops for a while for some various reasons but they can always come back again.

Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad?
by
Aismabbs
on 18/09/2017, 03:51:28 UTC
Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

[1] http://www.marketwatch.com/story/bye-bitcoin-china-to-ban-trading-of-virtual-currencies-2017-09-11

For me it is bad, why? Simply because bitcoins value drops because of that incident. Banning all the cryptos in china is a big mistake. A lot of investors including us, loss a lot of money because of that. China is a big country with a lot of bitcoin users and enthusiasts. With them being unable to use bitcoins the popularion of bitcoins will reduce and so does the value of it. That is whybthe value of bitcoins today are getting low and those who holds their bitcoins are going crazy, they are panic selling it.

Re: Do I hold?

on 17/09/2017, 14:36:29 UTC
I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

It depends upon you, if you really need that money you will probably sell it out evennif it is on a pow price as you expected. But my piece of advice, just hold it as pong as you can if you do not have a thing to spend with. Your money will always grow after that time. We all know that the value of altcoins are high when your coins are not distributed yet but if it is been sent to your account, the price will going to bw too much low. But after a couple of months after all those who sell their coins, the value of it will rise trust me.
