UPDATE: cryptobitscam is trying to get the trust pilot review taken down.  i wonder if they realize that i'm  going to update my post and it's going to bring it back to the top of the scam list...? hmmm maybe i should go to some of the non english forums and let them know as well.

i'd like to take the time to share my experience with you all about my dealings with this site.  i bought an avalon 921. as you may know,  the shit is loud. so i upgraded the fan. it was better, but still a bit loud, so i searched on how to build a box at first, but then i came across the miner master pro-c case. it seemed good. watched some videos about it on youtube, some reviews, and wanted to really know how it work more than anything, maybe i could back engineer it and see the components. after trying to find a website who had then, i came across www.cryptobitspot.com  (now known as cryptobit-scam) the site looks good, feedback on there site seemed legit at first. price was not bad (245 euros plus 30 in shipping) and after some thinking, i figured i go with them for the case.

i ordered the miner.they sent the invoice containing the address to send the funds to. and away it went. very slow response from them. no real correspondence. a few days after the order, i emailed them asking for the shipping info and they emailed me back a few days later and asked for txid. i sent it. i emailed them for an update a few days after that, they emailed me saying i needed to send 90 euros more for taxes was not included in the invoice. i did not believe it. i confronted them about it and no response. asked for a refund if it cannot be resolved.

after doing some more research on them, i started to get that "i got scammed" feeling and i found a bitcointalk forum someone posted in july, who was wondering about cryptobit-scam. if anyone dealt with them. in a way he got belittled for asking the question. but some people seemed to agree with his inquiry. some people in the forum were there saying things like, "if you don't know them, then your living under a rock." and "my colleagues have been buying from them for a long time they are trustworthy." someone else had the very same thing happen to them a few days ago and posted about it. i respond to his post with what happened to me.
a few hours later (yes, hours not days..) they emailed me demanding, if i took the post down, they will refund me. that was another lie. that is not a response from professionals in crypto miners since 2014..hmm.. but to my amazement, the person i quoted in the post had deleted their post, maybe he got his btc back? but good thing it was saved. i'd bet he got the same email i did. but i did find it odd.

my response to their email was "no.. first send me back the btc and i will take it down no if's and's or but's. id even delete my account off the forum. you never hear from me. they replied with as long as the post are up, i wont get refunded. and my reply was to send the btc and i'll take it down. no response as of yet, no explanation to anything, no trying to clear anything up., very rude all they had to do was refund me and i might not even be here, and there scam would live on. sad to say. i have posted all the proof of emails, transactions in the bitcointalk  forum i found asking about them for all to see. some people on there saying they get stuff from them a few months ago and but no one is defending them now... they probably have been profesional SCAMers since 2014. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!.

i know they are seeing my post, i want them to.  i sent them the link. i would like for them to come forward on this forum and explain to me...to everyone they scammed their side of the story and let's hear from them, come defend yourself and your companies reputation. instead you email me and say it's my fault i did not get a refund..? i guess because i exposed your scam site? that's classic man. so i was supposed to "bitch up" and say i'm sorry?? for what... you scamming me? you got the wrong guy pal. maybe you expect that giving the nature of crypto, and many people bent a knee to you before. but 0.035 is not that much man, i already bought it back in.  so the amount i paid to you was not really for the case, it was to expose your fake site. money well spent  if you ask me. also i would love to hear more about why this tax is never included at check out, whats up with your fake twitter account that never has any post from people who bought from you, no pics of your inventory, nothing on instagram but stock pics of things.. no nothing... your a scam, just change your temples and your site name your better off. start a new scam, but be careful... there may be a guy like me out there waiting to expose you. i know i'm not the only one this happened to. i welcome all to this post. email me, message me whatever you want.  share your story about being scammed by cryptobit-scam and for people who defend them saying they are a legit website. come tell your story about all the wonderful miners you got ,   i really doubt they or any of their chords will respond to this. but i hope so.  Grin

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cool now i'm being extorted and bribed. i quoted a person who got scammed by the www.cryptobitspot.com i went through the same situation. but that person since deleted the post a few days later, im guessing because he got the same email i did promising to get my btc refunded if i removed my post. well maybe he did get his btc or maybe not. maybe it was all a trick to begin with to get me to remove my post. idk but i emailed admin back and told them to send btc first and i'd take it down. well some time passed now and no btc sent to the address i gave them. so here is the email chain for all to see as proof that this site, www.cryptobitspot.com is a scam. who knows how many people fell for this, who knows how many people took down there post in hopes that there get there btc back. if they did let us know. as for me, i'll take it as a 0.035 btc loose to let the forum and others know about this experience and website. anyone defending them is in on the scam. if you have so much faith in them why don't either you refund me, or tell them to send the 0.035 btc to 35ZvYQ4mgm8Zi4b8yUgCdhmKwYrrqRsz2b they are Bean shooters.  if anything changes, ill update. but i doubt it.

100% scam. Ordered, paid, order status was placed 'On hold' with no communication. Finally contacted them asking what's up, they come back saying the system miscalculated sales tax and needed an additional 85€, when Czech VAT is 21% so it should've been 47.25€ total. Asked to please refund the purchase. They responded that they'd lower VAT to 70€. They didn't even provide how much bitcoin it'd be as I'm assuming that'd lead into yet another exchange where "oops, you sent the wrong amount, it's actually more."  Their response: 0.011 BTC (83.21€ equivalent), but if I sent 0.019 BTC (143.72€ equivalent) they'd throw in a Trezor wallet with Cryptosteel which would be an insane discount. Too insane.

Again asked for refund and gave address where to send it. Never heard from them again...

I'm posting this as it's one of the first Google results when searching for whether or not cryptobitspot.com is a scam. There are enough fake reviews and employee's smurf accounts trying to make people believe they're legit that it was hard to know. Wanted to confirm to other people that they should stay away.

*NOTE to people coming here from Google: users jungmining and michaelharmsen are known scammers/shills on this forum. Ignore their comments. Saying if tax is owed then just pay it might sound right, but that's assuming the tax is real or that you'll ever receive what you ordered.

no scam at all i have translated his text and he is complaining about taxes.... i think everyone should pay them if required.

Their con is that no matter what you order they come back telling the customer a fake amount of VAT was "accidentally not included," try to haggle VAT if you actually question them, etc. They string people along to pay just a bit more just a bit more just a bit more until finally the person wants a refund, then they stop talking to you.

i'm in the same boat man. they are 100% scam. about 2 weeks ago i was trying to buy the miner master pro-c cooler. real flaky response time. they tried to pull the tax scam on me too, but i'm pretty sure u.s. citizens don't pay vat tax thats why it said $0.00. and no other so called tax was mentioned at check out.  they wanted an extra 90 euros, but i called them out. asked for a refund, never got a response. the funny part is when i ordered, there were 3 left at 245 euros, now there is 6 left at 195. hope no one else gets caught out there, and for anyone who says they are legit, is a liar and scammer them self.
