Great News! As a result of Propy's teamwork with Vermont’s governor Phil Scott, his cabinet members and city clerks in Vermont, Propy and The South Burlington City Clerk are pleased to announce Propy's first US pilot project using blockchain technology to record real estate documents.

This is the second governmental pilot for Propy. More States are coming up, US authorities are bringing more attention to use blockchain for property records. It is exciting to witness how governments are willing to innovate via blockchain.

While our main solution Propy Transaction Platform is being built independently from governmental integration and  in compliance with legislations it is very important to help governments to move their databases to blockchain-enabled systems.

My pleasure. The rate of the amount of PRO used for a transaction may differ based on the jurisdiction of the property. I expect it to be between 2~5%.
More accurate details will be out with the new Whitepaper amendment.

1/3 of PRO used goes to the company, and 2/3 goes to the network growth pool. Details about this can be found in the current version of the whitepaper.

From what I've been informed, it will be the latter case.
The fact that there'll be a transaction through Propy is true, but details are still in discussion.

The PRO token functions both as a registree fee and access fee to write on the Propy blockchain. By doing so, it activates the automated title deed contract depending on where the transaction is made. Thus all participants won't be utilizing the token itself other that the individuals making the transaction, but it's the most fundamental element of what makes Propy, Propy.

Even though our CEO and few of the executives are from Bulgaria and Ukraine was a part of the beta test,
the team is based and registered in San Francisco, US. Plus, most of our focus from now on will be for US grounds.
