Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you!

Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?
Holding coins redundantly is never a good idea. What is best is being a day trader with the coins or tokens and get a little profit off it daily.

Interesting article about the death of ICOs and the emergence of IEO... https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-icos-really-dead/

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.
No smart project right now would prefer the ICO crowd funding to the IEO. That confirmed the death of ICOs as no one uses it anymore.

Re: Benefits in cryptocurrency trading.

Goodnight all,, In May, which ended yesterday, I got a pretty good profit in trading ETH and BTC. About $ 600 in almost a month. Do you experience the same thing when market conditions continue to improve. Share your experience, to make more enthusiasm in trading. Thank you very much.
My own experience was a negative one. I traded between BCH and USDT. Unfortunately for me, soon after I traded my BCH to USDT at $370, the price of BCH skyrocketed to over $400 even reaching $470. It hasn't returned to my price since then.

Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts
by

Despite the increasing legitimate cryptocurrency uses, its continued association with illicit activities and anti-money laundering compliance costs makes banking for cryptocurrency companies hard.

Read more here: https://www.unblock.news/news/cryptocurrency-companies-cant-open-bank-accounts
This is very true. Because of the anonymous nature of cryptocurrencies, people can easily transfer it to settle illegal deals. This is one of the reasons most governments don't want to allow it and as such the central banks will likely continue to kick against it.

I have not been able to login in for a couple of days. tried IE, Chrome & Edge. Is there an issue?
message Error: Unexpected error - please sign in.. this is after attempting to sign in
I think it must be from your own network. I claimed from it including other coinpot faucets few days ago. If your network is okay and your captcha loads very well, you should be able to log in.

Re: "Is it true that Craig Wright is the real Satoshi as he claims?"
by

Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. I have read several threads on this including the US government's refusal to recognize him either as Satoshi. The man may have been among the early adopters of Bitcoin, but I doubt if he is the founder. He just wants cheap popularity.

Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency?
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 23:47:28 UTC
I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?
Borrowing in cryptocurrency would be too risky as you would always be expected to pay back with the same quantity of the token you borrowed. What if the price skyrocketed after you have already borrowed, paying back may be a challenge.

Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe?
Come on, you should know that the current price is just temporary. Ethereum can even fall back to say $100 in this year 2019. This is a cryptocurrency market where anything can happen to prices within split seconds.

Re: Upcoming potential ICOs/IEOs
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 23:43:20 UTC
As bitcoin is on its bull-run phase, more money will be poured into the market. ICOs/IEOs will be consequently benefited from that. This has been proven in 2017's end. Do you guys have any recommendations for upcoming potential ICOs/IEOs? Give some explanation for your choice if possible.
Yes. I have some good ones such as Faireum. The project seems promising to invest in. You may do your own research about. But I am quite sure it has a very huge profit potential.

Re: Ethereum will Boom !
by

According to announcement of chain link, the decentralized oracle provider will launch on the Ethereum mainnet on May 30th.

And other side market cap is also $25.80 billion, which good thing.
So I think price will go up for surely.

Guy's,  what do you think about this ?

This is a very great news. But does it imply people should start rushing to buy Ethereum now before the may 30th launch? I don't think so. The market price will still follow the usual trend.

Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 23:38:41 UTC
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
This is a very bad experience you just got. This goes to further buttress the point that the swap of a thing should be done at the holders convenience. The token project team shouldn't expect every investor to follow their social media all the time.

From it's current price of about $80, it would be quite difficult for it to achieve a feat of $500. Yes, it may have perform extremely well in some years back, but with the current market scenario, it may not get to the price.

Do you see right now that bitcoin get first pump and same to other altcoins get continuosly pumping up in this month from March to May hopefully its good to hold right now. So tell me what is your strategy?
I think the Whales are at it again, and are probably responsible for these pumps. Anyway, it is best we enjoy the pump offer while it lasts.

Re: Should there be a time limit for coin swap?
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 23:26:47 UTC
Should there really be a time limit for coin swap tbh?
Its kinda funny there when i look at some project whom initiate swap

There's still few thing that Crypto are kinda weak when we comes to real world investment
I personally notice quite a number of case where user are left with bunch of useless coins because they didn't swap before a specific timeline.
This wouldn't happen if you buy stocks from stock market, buy commodities contract and etc
If you buy ABC, no matter if they transfer or convert their name to CDE and whatever, you do get back the amount you spent or the stocks that you actually hold.

I even notice there's certain swaps where it only available for 1 month
They expect everyone browse social forums, look at social media and etc
Hence, kindly share your point of view here
You kinda have a great point. There should be no time attached to a coin swap. Users should be able to swap whenever they are ready to do so. I still have tokens on my Idex exchange including xDAC which I cannot do anything with anymore. I guess I missed out of it too.

You can now send and even earn bitcoin and litecoin on WhatsApp using the tutorial available on this link
https://blogs.airdropalert.com/send-receive-earn-bitcoin-whatsapp/
I don't want to trust things like this until I come across a physical person who has profited from it. I would also want to warn people to be cautious about it.

Re: Are we in a silent bull run??
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 23:11:18 UTC
I ve seen many threads asking whether we are entering into a bull run or market will crash again. To me, the bull run is already here but it takes only experience to identify it. One key characteristic of the bull run is that, every drop is an opportunity to buy. During this period, the probability of earning profit from your investment (whenever there is a drop) is far higher than the probability to lose. Don't sit down and wait till Bitcoin hits 20k again before you realize we are in the bull run. Try and make enough profits now that the market is booming before its too late.

8)Some people are just folding their hands and watching now still hoping bitcoin falls back to $4000 before they will buy. And then, and then...when it leaves this current state and touches $20k they start crying had I known.  Tongue

I just joined the forum. I’ve opened an exchange and various wallets , bought a bit of bitcoin and TRON, what’s everyone’s thoughts on TRON? Worth buying into?
Tron quite worth investing on, but I wouldn't really put my money on it when there are other more prospects like BCH and ETH.

Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving
by
Akpuv
on 20/05/2019, 22:36:45 UTC
After 2017 max ICO profits, ICO has since then been a high target for scammers but alas ICO will still survive on the long run ,bitorrent and fetch.ai has proven that, many investors are now getting smart and extremely more careful ,its really a good thing ,before we know it the scam rate will get lower and scammers won't make a dime from ICO anymore. I think action speaks more than words,no one wants to lose money to scam projects anymore so they are forced to learn how to spot good projects to invest in. Warning doesn't work but investors losing money does makes them learn.
The chances of ICOs surviving is very slim and you can rightly put it that it is just 1 on a scale of 1-10. I don't see any interest in it again from the crypto community.
