Re: Deception & Misdirection by ZEC co. Forking ASIC Resistance Bitmain Antminer Z9

I'd like to share some thoughts on the criticism that zcash is moving away from being decentralized with ASIC equihash miners coming out. The zcash network hashrate is already centralized and has been for a while. Flypool has had over 51% of the nethash for A REALLY REALLY long time, and that hasn't been criticized nearly as much as it should be. Why? Because miners love the luck flypool provides, and the money that comes with it.

I'm wanting to try SMOS, but I don't want to flash the latest bios on my mobo. If my bios aren't compatible will SMOS even fire up or will it simply crash later on?

I think this concept has lots of potential when gpu mining dies off. Who do you see using the service the AI provides? I'm a bit familiar with GPU clusters for deep learning. Would you want to know the set up of the mining rigs on the system so that they can best be utilized?

I've been running v0016 for awhile with a mix of different brand 1080's to mine ZEC. I'm about to start using v0019.1.4 to mine BTG or ZEN. Any suggestions on where I should start with the OC settings?

In regards to FunFair in particular and the games it is offering such as a slots, craps, black jack, roulette, etc. Those are all games that currently aren't the main attraction to current online gambling sites not using blockchain. The big attractions are poker and sports gambling, the people are drawn to the sites to play those games, and the video based games like slots and dice are just something they shortly play as a side event. I feel FunFair having a transparent code does address the big criticism that the non blockchain based sites video based games are "rigged". There has been a growth in sites using real dealers in black jack with a live feed of video to address the issue of gamblers thinking it is "rigged". The people that play slots and electronic games generally aren't the most sophisticated group of people, it's going to be hard to sell them on the idea that the transparent code enables fair game play.  The knowledge of crypto by the everyday public will have to grow a ton for FunFair to really take off.
May I conclude this saying:
'Cons: Needs broader crypto adoption for substantial growth' ?

And don't you think this is an issue all the projects must face?

Yes, all projects face that. Think of the type of people that play slot machines and video gaming though. They generally aren't a well educated group of people. I don't know if you have been to many casinos (there's a ton where I live), but next time you are at one go look at all the slot machine players and ask yourself "does this person seem like they have the intellect to comprehend the security blockchain provides?". As far as gambling based cryto platforms, Viabet's P2P sports gambling has the chance to gain users a lot quicker. People in places where online gambling is illegal that use online sportsbooks are already much more familiar with crpto than say your average slot machine player at a casino.

Because of some sport Betting website called "BOVADA" now accept BITCOINCASH for their transaction. You can check it on BCC official twitter account here: https://twitter.com/BITCOlNCASH/status/929317515414474752

I have a pretty strong understanding of the American gambling and poker websites. Bovada is definitely one of the biggest online bookies that accepts Americans to make accounts. BCC being accepted as a form of deposit on Bovada is pretty meaningless for American gamblers and BCC. Americas Card Room which is the largest real money online poker site that Americans can play on announced a month or so ago that they are accepting deposits in over 60 cryptocurrencies. Soon they will also allow withdrawals in those currencies. I see Bovada moving in a similar direction soon where it will be a wide range of crypto they will accept for deposits.
