The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON
  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Any idea why is the price still dropping . i thoughti hit the floor at 16-17000 but it seems in it heading towards another floor. It is one of the few popular coins which has not recovered after the Bitcoin chain split .

It's dropping because of BTC going up so fast in the last weeks and because of panic sellers who are selling for a loss. This is one of the few tokens with an active development, a working beta and weekly news from devs...

What's your source, besides a previous post claiming something without source or explenation.

Enough already philip. We know how many coins you hold that's great but your becoming just a tad repetitive!

I just bought 10 million of these coins, I hope they will pay off.

It would suck if all your coins were lost. I have 9 million coins at the moment so I would really facepalm myself if they were lost and if i had no backup.

I am 14 years old and I own around 10 million coins. Would you guys think that I should wait for a few weeks or just sell now and take my loss?

I have 10 million MINT I could acquire around 2 btc with the current pricing.

It was very risky to do such thing yes, after I lost those 700000 I slowly regained them by trading little bits from the 9 million I had at that time.

I now have 9,960 million Sad I want 10!!!

wow, I barely regained my mint with daytrading. I invested 9,7 million only regained about 9,2 million. I really should not have been trading when that guy was forcing buy sales up.

I hope I can sell my 10 million (bought at 5 satoshis) at massive profits. If the price explodes Ill be a rich guy for a 14 year old.

I discovered cryptocurrencies 4 months ago and all the effort that I put into this market now has given me around 10 million mint. Some guys may not think thats much but believe me, its a shitload for a 14 year old. Anyway I hope to finally see some money soon from these coins, so that I can convince others that the money is real.

+1 Bragging about your hoard of coins is boooring.

Sorry for the spamming I am just exited about this coin. Ill stop from now on.

One last time....

How many Mintcoins do you have? Cheesy

10 million lol

It just leaves people puzzled? You just have to write down a few words on the debug window, I can't see anything puzzling with that unless you have some mental issues.
Your point about the stack function is wrong, you can spend Mints whenever you want, you decide to spend it or hold it, you are not obligated to hold it and by the way 20% per YEAR is not THAT MUCH considering it will decrease to 5% per year...

Two things: 1st I am able to use a debug window, but I bet the majority out there don't even know that there is a debug window in every client.
2nd I NO WHERE claimed, that one is FORCED to keep them, but ENCOURAGED by the model. It is a currency that ENCOURAGES people not to use it as a currency because it's value is supposed to rise.
I don't get why this is so hard to understand.

From the FAQs in page 1:

Quote
3. what does that mean in the wallet : Minting suspended due to locked wallet?
This says you can not do mining due to wallet encrypted.
you need to unlock the wallet in order to mine (for example for PoS blocks):
mintcoin-qt -server
mintcoind walletpassphrase true
still unclear? read this post

I think it's clear enough, and if it isn't there is a link where it's explained step by step you just have to click.

Yeah people are encouraged to hold the coin, but as you can see not everyone is gonna hold it as they are not obligated so I don't see the points of you argument where you claim that if you don't spend a coin it is whorthless: since you are not obligated to hold, the coin is not necessairly worthless. Much logic? Oh and by the way, holding a coin forever is just not profitable since at a certain point it will be more profitable to sell than to hold even if you get some interests. (And thats obvious since if you are not going to spend a single mint in your entire life there is no point on getting the interests lol)

I am concerned why Blackcoin tanked, would the same thing happen to MINT?

I think people are still just beginning to understand PoS.  Just look at r/mintcoin.  No one knows how to work their wallet.  I think Blackcoin is going to spike once a bunch of people realize they missed the mint train, so I picked some up while their price is in the gutter.

Maybe someone should explain it then? Maybe in the 1st post? Maybe in some simple words that everyone can understand?

Everything is explained in first post and it's explained really carefully.
It is not as it leaves alot of people puzzled

Quote
Because after 5 weeks it is basically a pure PoS coin, it does not need to be intensively mined, as the PoW payout will remain the minimum. Most coins will be generated through PoS, thus it is a coin that will save a lot of energy compared to other coins.

Its basically saying "stop mining you won't get anything anyhow, just keep x million in your wallet and never spend it.
Cryptocoins without mining are dead cryptocoins because miners provide most hashrate.
Cryptocoins that are kept are extremly deflationary, that means you won't spend your coin because if you don't you have more tomorrow. But a currency that is not spend is worthless.

It just leaves people puzzled? You just have to write down a few words on the debug window, I can't see anything puzzling with that unless you have some mental issues.

I wonder who actually thought, that lowering the reward to 1 coin per block was a good idea. It'd need 100,000 satoshi now to be profitable.
http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/mintcoin-mining-calculator/?h=1000.00&p=500.00&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=8.41065891&r=1.00000000&er=0.00100000&btcer=645.60000000&hc=0.00

Because the initial 5 week mining was Mint's distribution model; now it switches to Proof of State where new coins are awarded as interest on your existing holdings

At the moment rate it is several full dollars off from roi when mining it.
Who starts mining now will only lose money who mined earlier just got a huge advantage if the price goes near anything profitable again. In that case I'd have made 1000 usd profit in a week.

Because the coin is not designed to be raped and dumped by ASICs and multipools. It's designed to be distributed and invested.

No miners - no network - no coins - dead.

Do you understand that we are generating coins throught PoS? Is it hard for you to understand? Or you are just trolling? Smiley
