Very worried to come and mine on your pool due to the below payment issue on ETH:

06 - 11 - 2020 hashrate: 1.5gh/s - generated 0.098 ETH
07 - 11 - 2020 hashrate: 1.881gh/s - generate 0.053 ETH

Seriously?

Not sure if worth coming back to this pool  Angry

we have changed our Ethereum mining payment scheme from PPS to PPLNS

to confirm you are saying that PPLNS will pay half the amount that normally i get paid? If not you own me ETH, if yes, good luck having people on the pool for half the reward

Anyone knows and use https://www.*ScamSITE*bithull.com/ ?

Reading specs it seems very powerful...

But, never judge a book from its cover... :-)

Why I am 100% sure this is A SCAM!

1. on the website it is presented as a legal entity knows as: BitHull SA

2. business operates in Denmark as per this (own) site of theirs: https://www.SCAM-bithull-SITE.com/about/

3. any danish business can be checked on DBA - Danish Business Authority for free here https://danishbusinessauthority.dk

3.1 go to Central Business Register ( CVR ) - it starts in Danish but you can select English.

4. looking at https://datacvr.virk.dk/data/visninger?soeg=bithull%20sa&oprettet=null&ophoert=null&branche=&language=en-gb&type=Alle&sortering=default we can see that any variation of the name brings 0 actual registered business. You do not need to know Danish to realise something stinks here by now.

If you want to be smart ask them to send you a unit to test and make a video of it running. Under a contract, of course.

I doubted the sensors have all died, as after a forced reboot (unplug and plug back in) it works again, a couple of days max and then again the hash has disappeared.

the machine keeps running though.

Bitmain where kind to reply and gave me the SD firmware to flash on it.

To continue...

Any help, as always, is appreciated.

take the broken fan off and see what it says on it.

you should look for something like 12V , 2.6A . If still not sure post a photo of the label on the fan

After you find this go on eBay or google generaly and look for the specific fan.

I hope this helps.

Re: Bitcoin halving and future of mining.
by
AlecMe
on 14/05/2020, 06:07:46 UTC
The future of mining is simple Grin.

Can you future proof yourself? How? Simple become an energy generator (wind / air / geo / whatever) and put miners to recoup your total investments (ROI calculation).

The sky is the limit when you see beyound what is given.

That is the beauty of it.

And if DARE to answer, ohh but it's expensive to get solar panels and others excuse then you do not want to do this (ie. get a job put aside all and start from the bottom - this is a general rule in life - at least in my opinion ).

Why do I say this? The future of mining is with the one that puts in the work and NOT only with the one that has the money to invest in it - as mentioned above as well.

It might be harder, I admit, BUT it is possible!
