it's not the standard, just a company who is popular and anything they will produce will be somewhat popular or very popular

I guess it's the main idea - decentralization! Giving the power back to people as individuals and not in the form of governments or institutions

what's the point of being overvalued if it fluctuates like bitcoin, steady growth will be more sustainable. unless you wanna make a quick buck and you don't understand how cryptos work.

Ambitious, but not impossible. However, so many transactions per second sounds pretty next century hahaha
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
If all altcoins will reach Bitcoin's high values then it would become a niche market for people with lots of money, whereas the idea behind it is to give back to people the power of controlling info and transaction records. Get involved with ICOs who have a serious product, research the founders and team everywhere, see what others review on them and follow their community updates.
I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.
But a lot of crypto-newbies gamble with them thinking they know what they're doing and that crypto is all about pumping and dumping random "projects". These people ignore, or not even aware what crypto stands for and just giving a bad name to it. And they will eventually get burned and hate cryptos altogether. Profits aren't made from nothing, it comes from other people's losses.
Innovation comes exactly from startups. The only problem here are the scam companies that made the industry look so bad.

You mean the almost 20k value? Because Bitcoin has no actual set value, a year ago was around 1k and then it was close to 20k in less than a year and now back to half of that...

Here is an article. Any bright ideas on how we can think to make this better?
Only solid ICOs will survive and that is mostly because of people being reluctant now on where they wanna see their money. I really hope scam times are over as this harms good projects and the industry's image overall.

Any football ICO?

Are there any ICOs focusing on football or sports?
Encrypted messaging startup Telegram plans to launch its own blockchain platform and native cryptocurrency, powering payments on its chat app and beyond. According to multiple sources which have spoken to TechCrunch, the Telegram Open Network (TON) will be a new, third generation blockchain with superior capabilities, after Bitcoin and, later, Ethereum paved the way.......
Looking forward to the official announcement. Anything is bluff

As everyone should be. Do your due diligence on the founders, the product and their community channels. If it's too good to be true - stay away. You want a sustainable project in a long term, not fast cash, but hella risky!
