Interesting read about nexus posted on steemit last year. Know the real value the coin.

"-To hack Nexus you'll need to make a 51% attack on three mining channels as this is a hybrid coin, this means uses proof of work like Bitcoin on 2 channels and proof of stake on 1 to secure the network. Which makes it almost immune to those attacks.

- Talking about security is the most secure coin out there, your private keys will be 571 bit security, that is twice as secure as Bitcoin, but it uses Skein at 1024 bit security and SHA3 winner Keccak at 1600 bit for the hashing, that is 4 and 6 times as secure as Bitcoin, this is due to the development of more and more powerful quantum computers, right now the only crypto who has a chance to deal with quantum computers 10 - 15 years in the future is Nexus, Core developer and founder Videlicet is developing a hashing algorithm for Nexus called "Calculus Space Cryptography", if this issue is not addressed quantum computer will simply destroy all crypto with ease in a decade or so, Nexus is doing something about it.
-It will be the first coin in having reversible transactions, if you fuck up, you have a time frame to reverse it.
-Dev's father was co-founder of SpaceX with Ian Musk and now with his own company Vector Space will send cube satellites to orbit in 2-3 years with Nexus and Bitcoin nodes to broadcast the blockchain from space and provide free wireless internet for the world ( I know doesn't sound legit but check the page and sources, this is going to happen).
-Bitcoin tech is Single-Threaded, which means every task, transaction, messaging that happens in Bitcoin must wait in line its turn to be processed that is why everything with Bitcoin is SLOW, Nexus will be the first coin using Multi-Thread by the use of the Merkle Tree this way every area of the coin will have its on thread, kinda like your computer can handle different task at the same time.
-Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies blocks are getting bigger and bigger which makes the blockchain very large and bloated, Nexus will make blocks smaller, if you want to know how this will be achieved, listen to the podcast, go to our youtube channel and its there.
- Until now there is no crypto capable of handling real world visa-mastercard volume, Bitcoin will try to do this by using the Lighting Network, Nexus wont need to rely on third parties to achieve this volume.
- Crypto transactions are cheap but as the coin gets more expensive the transactions as well, Nexus will offer free and instant transactions which will make it useful in real world beyond cryptosphere." - Crypthos

Coins were moved from your wallet. It's obvious since you received change back. This is for you to figure out, from my perspective nothing went wrong. It is still possible you got hacked, but the scenario is pretty convoluted. It would suggest someone got a copy of your wallet, figured out your password, and went through the process of sending you change back, which is unlikely at best.

If you can't figure it out, try harder, or start looking at people in your entourage. It is entirely easier to for someone with physical access to your computer to drain your wallet than some random hacker online gaining access to it remotely.

No the change was NOT sent back to me, i had 1.00820289 btc from which 1btc was sent with 0.008 btc as transaction fee

So you're saying someone robbed you but credited you change so as to exactly pay himself 1 BTC? Go through your financial history, figure out which service you paid 1 BTC to and take it with them...

that's the thing i could not have sent even if i had tried. I was unable to send bitcoins from my MAC wallet long before that transaction was made(Jun7). I even made a post about it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1932422

i cant believe the btc in my armory wallet is stolen.

I had armory in mac then after the code upgrade i had to install on windows. i had 1btc in mac armory wallet, now after the windows installation of armory it says zero balance and the latest transaction (which i didnt make) with ID: 1688b19b6052e9ceffb042f099ef106b1d27b88fd6dd181b10ae97726657a4c0

where is security? can you please explain this?

my mac old wallet still shows 1btc in wallet because it is outdated, then how is it possible that 'I' made that transaction. Armory is supposed to be safe.

It needs to know your blockchain data path.

Thanks. I had deleted everything and was doing a complete reinstall - fearing that something was corrupted. Why isn't Armory downloading the blockchain? Now that it isn't next - next - next. I'm kinda lost.

Armory doesn't download the block chain, Bitcoin Core does. Armory simply reads the blocks that are provided by Bitcoin Core.

What if there is no blockchain data path, shouldn't armory create it?

Armory knows where the block chain is located when you are using default settings on Bitcoin Core. If you've changed the location of your copy of the block chain for some reason, you will have to inform Armory of this change.

Can you please explain me how to link the aromory to the bitcoin database. Ive installed bitcoincore in 'D' drive, synced the entire blockchain, Armory is also installed in 'D' drive. but not sure how to link them tried different folder names for 'Bitcoin INstall Directory' and 'Bitcoin Home Directory' in armory, nothing seems to work. Which folder am i supposed to give there or is there another way? Thanks.

Both the coins seem good.

Viacoin recently released Viacoin Core 0.13 Beta with segwit(waiting for signaling).

Screenshot from their website:

Viacoin remaining milestones for the year 2017.
1.Hardware wallet support
2.Lightning network
3.Anon implementation.

Gridcoin has lot of milestones for June and July none of which is accomplished yet.

So, i see a decent development team and the price will go up soon. A huge potential for both the coins, what do you guys think? Planning to invest on them.

Armory doesn't have that functionality any longer. All "phone home" code has been removed by goatpig.

Check the top stickied thread in this sub forum for the latest version. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1896808.0

Armory unable to send bitcoins
by
Alexeishirov
on 25/05/2017, 05:00:31 UTC
I have a problem. Armory is online and it receives bitcoins good, but when i attempt to send bitcoins or even check for updates i receive this error:

" The secure downloader has not received any download data to display. Either the Armory Technologies, Inc. announcement feeder is down, or this computer cannot access the server. "

does anyone know how to resolve this ?

EDIT: I run Armory on MAC. one week back i sent bitcoins which was hanging without confirmation for three days. so I chose Help-> Clear all unconfirmed. Then i restarted, rebuilt the database and synced with Bitcoin Core.
