Hi mammix2,

I did get it right eventually, on my 3rd time. I did complain to them that there was not much info on that question, like they listed all the variables you can use, but no rules of how to use them and similar. 2 of the admins were not helpful at all, while the 3rd one was great at pointing you where you went wrong instead of just saying "wrong" as the other 2. After my complaint they put some more info and made few more changes on their "how to" guide, so they clearly agreed that not all of their sellers are software programmers and they need to explain a bit more of the process and include the USD_in_GBP variable in their examples as people on their site are most likely to work with GBP and not USD.

I believe this was my correct answer:
200 | bitstampUSD_ask * USD_in_GBP * 1.04

You always start with the lowest amount you want to sell your BTC, which in your case is 1 and should be 200 like the question asks. You don't need to use the function "minprice(floor, param1=value1, param2=value2, etc)" unless you want to want to match the price of other sellers by including other criteria.

Hope this helps and best of luck with your exam Smiley

Hi guys,

I need your help in relation to BitBargain's sellers test. There is one question that i am struggling with so i would appreciate your help very much. The question is:
"You want to sell at Bitstamp Ask + 4%, but never below 200 GBP per BTC. What is the price formula for this?".

I hope someone here is a BitBargain seller and came across this question on the test Smiley

Many thanks in advance and i am looking forward to your replies.

Pool users should check their connections to Slush. I noticed with two miners that I hadn't submitted a share in the last ten minutes. My miners were showing that they were still connected to pool 0, but 46.28.205.80 instead of the normal address. There is talk on Eligius about a malicious player doing a man in the middle attack, it's worth reading up on.

I had this problem about 3 times in last few days. 15 minutes ago my both antminers were submitting work and nothing looked different, but for about one hour they were sending results somewhere else, because slush pool was reporting 0 shares. After reconnection everything is ok again... I really hate how many thieves are attracted around bitcoin.

It might be that the password is left to default, so it's the same password to all ants if it wasn't changed. I guess the 'thief' needs to find the IP and then log into that ant's account using the well known default password. Or maybe the other 2 pools weren't changed, so if Slush is down, it switches to the other default pool which was preset by Bitmain. Just a thought.

It looks like the new Ants S2 and other ASIC's are in their 'test' phase, way too many blocks are being found by some private pools in the last few days Roll Eyes
By the time they get delivered to their new owners, many of them would have paid it-selves  Cheesy
Sadly there isn't really any other SHA-256 currency offering better profitability than Bitcoin, so most of them would be pointed at Bitcoin, increasing the difficulty sharply  Angry
