Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency?
by
Alfred V
on 16/08/2018, 15:57:47 UTC
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

Most of the whole humanity still does not even know that cryptocurrencies exists or for others who heard about it does not really understand how it really works in the first place. Some big nations like the America and Russia uses it but it really does not make any big effect on the other parts of the globe because they don't understand it's importance and the benefits it can give to the whole world.

Re: EVERY TIME IS RIGHT TO BUY AND SELL
by
Alfred V
on 16/08/2018, 15:40:15 UTC
Looking at how BTC is and its ability to increase, I have seen people posting all all over the forum that can I buy now, is this the right time to buy and many more. To me I think every time is the right and best time to buy BTC so we should go on and buy any amount we want to and stop all those post because when you buy now there will surely be a time to come where it will increase in price for you to enjoy it. We can buy and sell anytime and anytime is the best time. What do you think guys? Any suggestions?
It actually depends on your perception on the rise and the downfall regarding the rate of Bitcoin. You can trust yourself and compare the price of bitcoin today and to the past if it is low the i suggest you that yes it is the right time, but if it is higher than the previous rate then it also depends on you.

Re: What’s happening to today’s ICOs
by

Yes you are right today some coin of an ICO is only worth a can day but when they reach their selling point and have big output then the price is now worth as a house, at the same week the price  can become worth of a pancake, that's why traders have the best position and nice job to keep the coins value every moment to look for best time to buy and sell your coins, I think you can do this for your two kids future.

This is a very dangerous game you are thinking about. Never depend or even think about depending anyone’s future in crypto at least not yet. The governments couldnt accept the cact that everyone could be rich.. this year we’ll experience heavy regulations towards every edge of our world. So just watch put and hold the money you are happy losing

The current alt boom is coming to an end and bitcoin will rule supreme once again!

I hate to say this but if BTC figured out the lack of scalability before the faster networks gets mainstream- the guy actually has a point. There are so many places where bitcoin is accepted now even investing to ICOs we use bitcoin. I too bets that BTC will remain dominant this year..

Re: Is hodling alts dangerous?
by

Not sure what you exactly mean.

Invest in projects with a solid roadmap, excellent team and a community and you will be fine.

If you throw money are pump and dump copycat shit coins you will loose in the long term

In fact you should just make sure that you'll invested on some existing project that proves that your money wouldn't be wasted. Some alts are just focusing on giving up value with their coin and don't even care about their project to continue in short it was all just imaginary that's why don't be surprised why those alts are all dead now.

100% true. Invest and hold coins that has actual product either getting tested on or in testing and has customers lined up to use their tokens. One good example is universa— its not a crazy get rich quick sort of thing but they are outstanding in getting contracts after contracts. As long as the company is alive and is hungry youll be fone.

Re: Will the crypto market recover?
by
Alfred V
on 16/03/2018, 15:36:35 UTC
All dreams have been shattered while the marketcap keeps falling every time I refresh coinmarketcap. I kept Hodling expecting it to be a small correction like the ones in 2017. Portfolio dropped more than 70% already  Cry and still dont see the bottom. Now I am wondering if it will recover to previous highs especially considering the China ban and regulations.  Cry Any thoughts?

It wouldn’t be as volatile as before. Because everyone is careful with money going in and going out. Something that is inevetable due to regulations imposed to the exchanges. Note that major ones even took off US based customers from the supported investors so— would it recover? Definitely but not like how it was last year... the bubble did not burst it was made to burst by the regulatory bodies -my opinion

This year cryptos will goto oblivion. End of days.

India's unfavorable crypto stance and more countries to follow.

I warned you people 2 weeks ago, still there is time. Get out of this with minimum losses.

So you think because India had a strong unfavorable stance againts the cryptocurrencies - the whole world will follow?
That is highly unlikely to happen— especially when russia is loving the technology. When russians have something- uncle sam is never left behind. The super powers wouldnt let got of the technologies just yet. -my opinion

Re: LTC or ETH?
by

Which should I invest in, that potentially has more growth? I know this really isn't able to be given a direct answers, but what's everyones opinion and why are they different?

To me it seems more people are interested in ETH, over LTC which seems to be the case. More investors equals more interest, and a better growth.

The current issue with Litepay has kind of turned me off of LTC, but if things work out that seems like it could be a good spike in growth as well.

My honest opinion is for you to diversify between the two. Hold some eth and hold some LTC because they are two great projects that could be used by real establishments to build upon.

Re: Ethereum can 1000$ ????
by

Ethereum can 1000$ Huh?

We just need to wait until the regulatory bodies are done going around the exchanges, finalize the rules for crypto currencies getting trades— and then we’ll see a true valuation for ethereum. it is not impossible to even go beyond 1000 this year. Right now all we could do is to stock up our holdings (with money you can afford to lose) and hope for the best.

Re: method for investing in cryptocurrencies?
by
Alfred V
on 11/03/2018, 17:53:34 UTC
Hello guys please I really want to ask if their is a special way or special trick  of investing in crypto-currency that really make an  investor generate a good  return on investment. Wink

Invest when the hype is gone and the real valuation comes out, that's also known as market crashes. Only invest money you are more than willing to lose or at least you have the stomach to hold on to your holdings for a long period of time until the market recovers. If you are looking to make returns the soonest sell it when it rises and then just buy again on the next crash.

Re: why is the crypto market down day after day?
by
Alfred V
on 11/03/2018, 16:07:40 UTC
Like any other economy, the crypto market is also affected by supply and demand, People are currently selling their holdings, or rather have sold it during the period that the price was high. What you are seeing is a very healthy correction that reflects (not all the time) the true valuation of the crypto industry. To be true ATM it's still higher that where it was last year. So just watch out and build your portfolio, because there's a good chance of this going all up after the correction.

In the real world, great ideas attracts the most awesome investors. Steve Jobs did not have any budget when the guy from intel approached him to invest in his idea that was crazy for so many people that he tried to call before that guy showed up. It's great idea and a great team behind it.

Re: Still believe in ICO ?
by
Alfred V
on 09/03/2018, 02:06:07 UTC
I definitely still believe in ICOs, but my two cents is that registration for one should really be a process regulated by probably a government body or just a private entity who is responsible for filtering shady companies that does not even have a working concept nor an actual product that they are planning to produce.

A lot of ICO's are really just there to scam people which is very sad for the crypto community. When having someone to look over your shoulder for where you should put your money in can lead to other unsavory things like corruption, I guess what we can do is just to look out for each other and tell each other redflags as we veto the ICOs we want to join into.

Re: Which coin now you think had a good future
by
Alfred V
on 08/03/2018, 19:37:53 UTC
Like the title, what coins do you think will have a good future because now it's a lot of coins and not a few of those coins that fail
What do you think ?
What coin do you think will have good future ?

I have strong belief that universa.com would play a major role in over all economic adaptation of the blockchain tech in a larger scale. As long as they keep on track in what they need to focus on like pushing for their mainnet to be fully ready and being able to sign more clients than of what they already have, it will be a great platform not to only invest on but also to build on.

Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in?
by
Alfred V
on 08/03/2018, 18:15:06 UTC
Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?

At this rate, invest it in like 5 coins (id go for top 5) you feel like investing in 10usd each. A very high risk thing to do but it doesnt hurt to lose all that if you just want to dip your toes into the crypto world.
Take consideration the fees as well so whatever money you got left after putting in on a good high volume exchange like binance. divide it and then leave it there for a week. if you get a bit of profit then no matter how much that is sell them. Or hold them for no matter how long you want.

Some tips look for coins in CMC that has low supply, high volume in 24hrs. there's a good chance you get revenue if not a dollar probably 2. It really depends on what you want to do mate, but good luck!

this is where anti malware programs should be working for you. I work in the tech industry and yes while it’s easy to make a script to look for a certain file from your hardrive, retrieving it is a bit of a stretch unless you were baited to another form that allowed the program to send the information back. I hope this serve as a lesson for everyone, the development of softwares to protect you from these kinds of attacks are there for a reason.

Nonetheless owning a cold wallet is always a great layer of security. There is no such thing as “Overly secured” especially ehen it’ thousands or millions worth of money is what you are talking about.

Be careful out there folks— 1. Never joins something that guarantees and are always to good to be true and 2. Always be secured.

Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down....
by
Alfred V
on 07/03/2018, 20:59:21 UTC
I saw in cryptocurrency market every coin value going down, let's talk something now about future cryptocurrency.

The reality is the bubble popped -- like it has for the past few years. The prices can never just go up what we are seeing are good corrections.
Weak hands leaving, profiteering, and a healthy dump people are doing because of the season (they need money to spend).

Like any other investment portfolios I have (stocks and various types of funds) crypto currencies are not that far out different. Yes it's highly volatile but you can never explain how from being at 6k each BTC went up to 10k again in just a matter of months (you can't do that to say, Tesla stocks you will wait for years). People decide where it's going to be and a lot of credible people is in this game for the long run.

What we want to hope for are real world applications of the blockchain tech, using these different platforms. Changing the internet just like how many like BTC promised. Applications running on blockchain tech, Banks adapting for more secured transactions and so on. So you should have the stomach to wait for that to come because it is coming.

Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$
by
Alfred V
on 07/03/2018, 03:15:13 UTC
I'm so stupid when attending crypto currency, who can help me to get money back? I also ask many traders who has experiences in this one, but I still lost money

I am really sorry to hear about this. The hard truth is getting that much money back wouldn't be a piece of cake. If you are an investor and you lost money that is a part of the game unfortunately.
My advise is to always follow your gut and study the organization you are about to join especially in the crypto space. NEVER go all in. invest money that you are willing to lose.
Don't be attracted by be rich quick schemes.

Start putting small amount of money in stable and known currencies (bitcoin, eth etc) I advise the top 10 from the list CMC and build your portfolio from there.

PS. I hope this isn't Bitconnect you are referring to if it is, and you still have their coins. JUST HOLD IT and dont dump it to the price it's at right now. Ive heard there is a law suit in motion that when won you will get it in the value they said it will be at before they went away.

Re: Telegram ICO

Pavel Durov has just announced the community round for Telegram ICO  Shocked
I've just bought tokens by 1.3$ and seems like the price is getting higher
www.tongram.io

Is it just me or the more I read the whitepaper, they are really not currently the technology that Telegram uses?
They are a blockchain in development that applications like Telegram, FB messenger etc, could run in - to make it more decentralized and unblockable? Please tell me Im mistaken, or otherwise they are just using the name of Telegram to get some attention?
