Well, it's a good time to buy when the price is low.
ETH has not showed its power yet, but you can be sure that sometime down the road, the average joe will learn about it.

DAPPs are already a great pilar, but wait for these two ones and people will understand just how powerful is ETH:

EtherBrowser: the upcoming primary client for Ethereum, which will exist in the form of a web browser that can be used to access both normal websites and applications built on top of the Ethereum platform

Swarm: an upcoming P2P data storage protocol optimized for static web hosting that will be integrated into the EtherBrowser

Just based on the algo I am keeping ethereum going! I have a few nodes running and I have faith in you guys! Hell if it drops to 25 cents I am still making a killing.... Also remember when online stores and products implement this cryptocurrency we will see a small drop too but that's a good thing!

Edit: Yes everyone please stop mining this coin... MORE FOR ME MWAHAHAHAHAHA

LOL bet half your euthereum it will and if you win you break even almost. And if you lose well that's good news! I have not tried this website are they trustworthy?

Edit: My miner is working great! Using catalyst 14.6 and the older ethereum miner. I actually am managing 50-55mhs per 7990 now. Non stop for 72 hours. That's 2.50$ per day per card. Or 12.5$ per unit. At about 1.3KWH@0,06c/KWh. Which equates to 300$ a month per unit taking power into consideration. Not bad IMHO 2600$ per unit per year or if we take an average difficulty and price and power into consideration that is still about 8 BTC/year. Compared to a 750 ti unit using half the power makes 2BTC/year. Also I am loving the interface!!! Keep it up devs don't listen to the forums listen to the global hashrate!

Why I love this coin:
1. One pre compiled miner for everyone. No secret x11 miner that gets 2 times the hashrate. We are all not rainman spread the love!
2. The developers are REAL people that have ALOT of experience
3. Security
4. No plug and mine! You actually have to know what you are doing to get everything working right. I am getting about 50mhs PER 7990 Smiley

What I do not like:
1. The price fall!! Why??? I know that usually coins fall in price at their beginning phases but is this just going to be another pump and dump??
2. Not enough support for the miner! I think we can get things moving a little faster on tahitis and pitcarns
3. Major variance in mining speeds. This suggests there is still some tweaking to do.

Thoughts?

I think a lot of negative feedback sometimes psychologically depresses a dev making a dev leave the project early. Common we eat them alive sometimes. This is what new bitcoin miners/users look at when they google it up. If you are indeed working on your projects then don't get discouraged!! Keep it up and you can profit from this low if your smart Wink

But if your not. I will be watching Grin

It's plain useless.

It may be, but I would like to see what are the chances that a guy with ~160Th/s finds 3 blocks in 1 day http://bitsolo.net/pool-stats/

I quit that site just because of those statistics. It is improbable at the current difficulty. He always does that. Currently solo mining peercoin and doing great!

My guess is you are the ex wife? Wild guess here Based on the name and the fact he mentioned he was on verge of divorce the last time he chatted on good terms with anyone. OR you are someone else. The bank info ultimately would be useful for the court case against him as evidence. Maybe they can force a subpoena on it and get some info on the financials. But alot of his real profit is from the mining hardware he built and kept for himself for the petahash mining project he was bragging about. KNC appears to be the beneficiary of that project. He had lots of dragon miner clones built. Which is what ultimately got shipped to a few people in shitty condition.

Yup like I said, get that child porn stuff of Joshua Zipkin to the FBI. They don't fuck around with that so they will act quick if its legit.

Done! I had to google "how to submit information to the FBI from CANADA" lol this is by far the weirdest thing I have ever done. And The connections were when I was lurking and following him. I saw his IP show up on some blocked sites that I couldn't access so I did a trace-route with "Die.net" and alot of the ips and stuff that came up was disgusting.

I have some valuable info that also connects him with some child **** sites. I don't have my linux box up but if no one will stop me I am going to grab some redbull and go to town. Thoughts?

Also no I am not his ex wife lol!!! Just someone who thinks he is a bag of shitake and Love the bitcoin forums. Open discussion is where we can actually move forward in society. Bitcointalk is a platform for this so not only is he a prick and creep but he morally disgusts me.

[WTB] A2 Mega or A2 terminator controller boards/Broken terminators 1BTC
by

Hey whats up everyone! I am looking for the BLUE terminator controller boards. They are used in the A2MEGA, A2 Terminator, A2 Terminator Mini, Dihao LTC mining rigs etc. Any condition as long as its working properly.

-If you are unsure if you have a controller board but have some broken terminators collecting dust I will accept these too.
-The RED DIHAO controllers I will not accept. They are under powered and I have went through too many of them.
-A2 MINI TERMINATOR I will accept too and pay for shipping and everything(the whole unit).

I am offering:
-1BTC+Shipping for TWO controllers (Price is negotiable if they are in good condition and both blue terminator boards)
-2.5BTC(negotiable) for an A2 MINI TERMINAROR (price is negotiable)
-If they are home made controllers I will only accept from certain members of this forum(no newbies sorry!).

Any other options are welcome too I am open to offers. I also have 6 terminator blades that are fully working I can throw in to the deal. Smiley

Thanks in advance!

Will pay 1BTC for a2 terminator miner controllers or alternative
by
AliassailA
on 10/05/2015, 07:08:27 UTC
Hey guys so I recently bought some DIHAO miners that were a great deal. Problem is their controller boards were very underpowered... They all stopped working on me so I bought a terminator. They have the same interface so I swapped the 12 chip boards out that I have and now have 6 spare 8 chip terminator blades! I have 10 Dihao blades left and would like to make use of them. I have searched every search engine and cannot find a replacement. I found one for a dragon SHA256 miner but they are out of stock! PLEASE if anyone can help I would love to reimburse you  Smiley

I have tried hooking the blades up via different interfaces but it always comes down to a driver issue or hardware recognition problem.

Cliffs:
-Need terminator controller
-will pay 1btc for one and I need two!(I have 10 unused 12 chip A2 blades)
-I have 6 spare a2 8 chip boards that I can also throw into the deal!
DESPARATE

Edit: Or if anyone knows how to directly interface with a raspberry pi(providing me with the interface type ie. I2c, USB, IDE etc...) without a controller, or directly to a computer thats works fine too! Im pretty tech savvy so a short explanation will work! And again I would be very appreciative of your time!
