At present, the market price has fallen sharply, this is a great opportunity for us to invest in this market.

If we want to make more profit then we have to take risks. cryptocurrency is a new market, it has great potential, but this market is a lot of risk. If we know wise investing in altcoin then I believe we will have a lot of profit. At present, the price of the market has fallen dramatically. All altcoin are priced very low. I think this is a good time to buy altcoin. We should buy altcoin in the top 50 coinmarketcap. Some of the altcoin that I think have growth potential are Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, IOTA and Monero. 

All my money is in Ethereum as well, but I'm not holding it for too long since I'm planning to re-invest in upcoming token sales. This July has a couple of good projects like Menlo one and ViValid. I think it would be better to risk on ICOs rather than sell my eth at a loss or keep holding and hoping.. Menlo in particular seems like a really good project since it plans to be an ICO marketplace. It's gonna be like ICObench but with a lot more stuff to do.

Five years in this market really seem an eternity for the large number of things that will happen in the technological field by then. The first thing I could hope for is the emergence of new and more powerful altcoins with the potential to displace current ones, but I also expect a much bigger and more consolidated market. ETH is used as a platform of decentralized apps, programs, services and this job is doing extremely well but it is not a currency. Therefore, even though the price is increased I will not ever exchange bitcoin to buy eth.
On the other side I am happy to invest some fiat to eth but as I said I can't see them as competitors but as different assets that anyone has if he wants to diversify his portfolio.

I do not think you sell your altcoin now because now altcoin price is decreasing and if you sell your altcoin now you will not get any profit, for better you buy bitcoin for future when bitcoin price goes up you can invest in bitcoin with long-term and my advice you better hold the coins you have and wait for the price of bitcoin and altcoin back stable. That can be possible  ethereum will reach bitcoin price and for sure you will earn a lot of profit if that happen.  But this year it will not reach bitcoin price because the price is 10 times than the price of ethereum.  Better to buy ethereum and hold it for few years and for sure you will gain a big profit and possible you become rich. But remember invest only your extra money incase the price of the ethereum will decrease so you can buy more again.

When you are going to invest, always remember that you are risking your money. When you bought the alternative coin, do you consider of reading its whitepaper? If you do believe in the alternative coin, hodl for it as long as you can, cryptocurrency market is so versatile that you think you loss but you didn't.   I would suggest to put in both like 1 Ethereum and 7.5 Neo. Both crypto is potential and has good market cap with growth prospect. Ethereum is a sleeping giant in the current situation and no one can predict it's growth for future, anytime it could rise to a highest price. Neo is a slow and steady crypt, it always sustain in a price for longer periods in a good price range. So, option is to invest in both to be safer or have good profit in either of the coin in future.

The title of the thread is what I call or term falling in love with a project. In crypto, you dont fall in love with any project else you would miss out on alot of other opportunites. Crypto is so filled with opportunities that once your token grows in substantial value, you can sell off some part and invest in other projects just so as to grow your portfolio unless you have a project which has a roadmap till 2 or 3 years time. The part remaining from your sales could be held till that 2 or 3 years.
 

   You are right, the market is currently down and continuously declining. This is really a very bad situation to make a sale, a big loss that I will only get. This situation teaches me and you to be more patient and keep learning to understand the market cycle and situation. But tonight, I get information that keeps my spirits growing and confidence improves, as crypto has improved. That means we all still have a great chance to see the market go up higher and our investment grow even bigger.
