bounty for testing?

Sorry but no. I usually get as many testers as I need without having to pay anyone.

I will give everyone who tests the game an ad-free copy of the final version.

@Chrithru got your message, added you to the group. Thank you for your interest!

Sounds like a brain taxing game  Shocked

I was on vacation last weekend. We tried out playing the game with Uno cards for the decks. Turns out the same formula works with 3 players. THAT was hard on my poor little brain!
I lost a lot Tongue

Sounds like an interesting Idea. If it is able to run on Android 2.3.7 I'd be interested in testing.

It will run on 2.3.1.
I actually had it running on my old original Droid Incredible a couple days ago. Smiley
Love that old phone, its a champ.

Seems like a interesting game but I guess the odds are massively in the favor of the house where are the beta testers thread?

Thanks. I edited my original post, you can just email or message me your gmail address that you use on your Android phone or tablet to be added to the testing group.

The odds that someone will win 17 games in a row is pretty small.

If you work backwards, halving the prize amount each time (since their are two players), you will notice that when you reach game one it is valued at slightly more than one penny.

If a player who wins the free BTC on his first try, (his first 17 games), he will have watched 17 ads. Now keep in mind that he beat a player at each level who also watched ads to get there. One ad for level one, two ads to reach level two etc.
If each of them lost no games before losing to this player we still have a large amount of ads watched by someone somewhere before this lucky guy wins his 17th game.

You will of course be able to pay the lowly fee of 1 penny per ad to skip watching it entirely.

Play BTC Rush, Win a bitcoin (Looking for testers)

I started a new thread with a better title, rather than resurrect an old one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=683587.msg7768394#msg7768394

Long story short, I'm making a game for Android called BTC Rush.

Gameplay:
There are three decks of cards numbered 1-7. You have one, your opponent has one, and the dealer(AI) has one.
Dealer throws down a random card
You and your opponent each play a card.
Player with the highest numbered card wins the round. The two played cards and the dealt cards are put in the winners pile.
In other words, you can only use each card in your hand once, so there is a lot of strategy involved.
First player to get 43 or more points worth of cards in their pile wins.

How to win a BTC:
Win 17 games in a row.
A loss sends you back to the bottom of the ladder.
A tie does nothing.

The game is almost finished, I'm looking for beta testers. All you have to do is have an Android, and email me at venusteck@gmail.com .

Also looking for suggestions, feedback, and if anyone wants to take a stab at a bitcoin themed card... Smiley

Hello cbeast.

Sorry about that. I am willing to share my code/method for adding Bitcoin for in-app purchases in Unity3D if I go ahead with adding it to the game.

Feel free to move the thread. I would if I could figure out how.

Maybe I should offer to video tape myself doing questionable things while having a shoe on my head so my post will get more feedback?  Wink

Bitcoin in game idea

Hello,

Long story short: I use bitcoin and litecoin, but I am very quiet and almost never use forums anywhere. That is why you have never heard of me.  Grin

I am an Android and Windows 8 developer "aT Games" on the side. I have multiple titles out, mostly hidden object games.

I currently have a card game in development that I would like to find a way to weave bitcoin into. I would like to float my idea past you guys to see what you think.

The Game:

1. It's a free, two player card game.
2. I make my money with ads placed at the beginning of each game.
3. Players can buy "ad skips". 69 of them for $.99

How I would like to add bitcoin:

4. Players can buy 99 ad skips for $.99 worth of bitcoin. There is incentive for the player to purchase with bitcoin over using "real" currency. (please don't hurt me, notice the quotes)
5. Similar to Moola, the player can move up a ladder earning bitcoin for winning.

The ladder consists of 17 steps, with step 1 being worth 0.015625 mBTC, and the amount of bitcoin won or lost doubles with each step.
The difference between my ladder and Moola's is that you can't play below your step, and you can't cash out until you win step 17. Cashing out at step 17 gets you one bitcoin transferred to your wallet, and resets you to step 1.

In other words, win 17 games in a row and get one free bitcoin Smiley
This is of course very very hard to do.

What do you guys think?
