Marketing! It always comes down to proper marketing. You will need to distinguish yourself from lots of cloud mining ponzies and scam companies if you do plan to provide cloud option.
Also, I d suggest you get someone who s been in crypto for a long, long time and know his way around alts.

IMHO, mining the right coin and selling it at the best possible can triple your profits compared to the standard profit switching algos. Unless you plan to focus on BTC only.

Finally, I hope your mine WILL NOT be based in the UK. With UK electricity prices, you do not stand a change. You either need Island or Eastern Europe.
Thank you. We have been looking for accomplished crypto-enthusiasts, but the market of experience in London is fairly limited.
We are looking at alternative countries to mine in as the price of electricity in the UK is far too expensive.

What do you mean on mining company? You want to make a new mining pool or want to develop/produce mining hardware?

Thanks for responding,
We are planning to create a new mining pool.

Well, you'll also need someone in legal, some traders and a proper stream for revenue.
Mining is pretty much half of your trouble Smiley
Thank you  Grin

Mind me asking why you created a brand new account to discuss this?
I had been using LinkedIn for the past few months to discuss Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in groups. Decided I wanted to join a real forum to have other people's viewpoints.

I am a London-based Bitcoin and Altcoin enthusiast. Over the past few months I have been working on building a mining company, and I am now in the final stages before seeking funding. I was wondering if I have the right team selected in order to make my company successful and efficient. So far we have: 1 CEO (Me), 1 VP of Business Development, 4 IT Engineers, 2 Strategists and 2 Members in our Advisory board. Is there any workers we are missing that are vital in a Bitcoin Mine? Please let me know.
