I still to afraid to go on holliday due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Originally we made plans to go to Greece for 2 weeks, but I do not know what to do.

I agree! Getting a hold of new information does take a lot of time indeed.
Consuming and processing information is just the start, validating all of these is the next step towards the right direction.

I believe this could be helpful for some people here on this forum as I falled into shitcoin trap. I could not believe I can lose my whole fund in just a little time and I want to use this forum to advice the newbies to be careful of shitcoins. I hope you all know how dumped price can wreck the funds of people that invested in such coin.
The coin was METP, I invested at the price of $0.0004 some weeks ago, but the coin is now at $0.000002, I invested $100 and it has now vanished, I do not even have $1 remaining again and it was a lost that really depressed me.
Recently, I checked the price since when it was launched in 2019, it was $0.01245, it has been fallen since after even till now, if I has first analysed the coin, I will not not fall into the trap, but I have no idea about analyses at the time.
I will advice people to analyse market and the coin that want to be used to trade or invest before buying such coin because some coins are just existing to take away your money before it becomes fully dumped.

I applaud you for understanding that the value of something measured over time should be done in USD and not BTC.
Inside cryptocurrency, BTC is King. But once you go outside crypto info fiat territory, USD is still the King nonetheless.

One of the worst things people do in crypto is trying to chase their losses, be it with gambling or trading or investing. People who get scammed by ICOs instead of taking it as a lesson often double down and look for a mythical "good project" to recover from losses. Same with bounty hunters - they get worthless tokens over and over again, yet still believe they can get paid. It all comes from regret over past mistakes. Some people really need to learn how to learn from their mistakes instead of making some excuses.

Right before I know this forum and the day that there is no internet yet things are different compare to the time where the internet is created. This thread should be enough to remind people how it is important. This thread should be locked. I don't even see this topic helpful for crypto related discussions. I think it's a reminder instead. With the world's economy collapsing, people are looking for alternative safe-haven assets to use in times of turmoil. Interest in crypto has sparked a lot ever since the stock market went on a decline. If people decide to use crypto, precious metals, and physical cash, will it be possible to live a normal life without a bank?
In my case, I'd be willing to exit the banking system in order to have true sovereignty over my money. After all, that's what crypto is all about. If you could live your normal life without the need to ever interact with a bank (having a bank account to make transactions, etc), it'll be a blast. With the world shifting towards the online realm for e-commerce, virtual meetings, and more, it seems likely that people will be using decentralized money more thoroughly. There are still people using credit/debit cards, but that may change soon as Fiat becomes hyper-inflated.

I believe that as long as a country will maintain a central bank to regulate and monitor existing banks within their country, banks are here to stay.
Moreover, banks may still continue to co-exist with cryptocurrencies as long as the traditional banking needs of the people aren't totally replaced by other options instead.
Coincidentally, unless the country itself would declare that they won't be needing a central bank anymore, I don't actually see that it's possible yet to live without banks, in the traditional sense of what a bank is currently defined.

At least not yet, while the world is still experiencing a pandemic because it would be very difficult for any country to battle two fronts (COVID-19 and waging war towards another country). Right now, I believe that one country is just posturing and simply flexing its military muscle against the other, that's all.

What they "forget" is that the incentives of the modern system always drive the elites themselves to destabilize their own system. Not sometimes. Not most of the time. Always.

For what it's worth, more often than not history basically repeats itself. The graphs and charts doesn't lie, the signs are everywhere, and as we always say here in crypto, those who had done their research will inevitably be in a better position to decide on any of their present and future financial investment plans.

The Internet is everywhere nowadays, basically just depending on your age and immersion to the new technologies that happened recently.
It's an interactive upgrade to the traditional multimedia content options that we had previously i.e. newspaper, magazines, radio television, etc.
Moreover, it's an all in one package that even competed against other traditional forms of communication i.e. telephone, mobile phone, video phone, etc.
Also, it even became a valid option to compete against satellite land-based vehicle navigation technology i.e. buit-in vehicle navigation, mobile phone navigation, etc.
The only that's constant in this world is change.

Good day everyone. I just wanna know how can you cope in this pandemic where many are losing jobs and our economy almost around the globe is surging downward.

Always be positive and try look for the brighter side of things in life.
In every situation, there's always something we can learn from, something that we could take advantage of, aside from the obvious negative impact that these unexpected problems may have done to us and to others as well.
More importantly, we must accept that we should learn to adapt and adjust to the new normal, we must not be overwhelmed by the pandemic and economic problems that's happening all around us, in order for us to move forward somehow.

It's almost 6 months since the coronavirus took its toll on every aspect of human lives. it has been accompanied by widescale job loss, a rise in the unemployment rate, a reduced standard of living, and intense hardship. From the economic perspective, what will be the fate of the global economic situation and normal day to day business if this pandemic doesn't go away by the end of this year?
Different countries do have different timelines as to when COVID-19 has been recognized to have directly or indirectly affected its citizens. More importantly, depending on how each country responded to the pandemic, whether or not there'll be a cure and/or a vaccine to be discovered as soon as possible, these are the factors that will determine how long this pandemic will last.
