What Is The Advantage Of Project Owning Its Blockchain?
by
AltLord
on 16/07/2024, 12:53:51 UTC
Hey guys... I think the crypto space is smiling better since BTC printing green candles and it's definitely feels better for most believers.

If there is a trend worth noting it has to be the rise of TON and all the GameFi on it's blockchain.

I'm kinda curious to know what advantages a projects get when they own their own custom blockchain. The likes of Solana, TON, Ethereum, OMax, Polygon etc... are good examples and I believe the financial incentives alone will probably not be the only criteria.

I would like to learn more from your expertise guys... Thanks!

Will You Trade AI For Human Creativity?
by
AltLord
on 21/06/2024, 09:41:01 UTC
I know there is an age long dichotomy of AI and humans and how the use of AI will phase out many mundane human works. But it is evident that the time for that has not arrived yet.

Hypothetically though, I believe AI can be a very useful tool for businesses particularly startups who can't afford to employ a specialist for every micro aspect of the business. This came to mind when I saw what LinqAI was doing with some specific AI ML algorithm. LinqAI is a crypto project providing AI-powered solutions for businesses. As a developer I believe training AI to specialize in some mundane task will greatly benefit a lot of businesses.

I will however like to hear your thoughts (not ethically but practically) on "if AI can be trained to be creative and if it's creativity can surpass human spontaneity?" and are project like these worth investing in?

Will MFTs revive the use of NFTs?
by
AltLord
on 19/06/2024, 12:20:30 UTC
NFTs have had a good history in the crypto landscape over the years but they have relatively become less popular as days go by.

I came across MFT days ago and I didn't know what to make of it. So basically, Meme Fungible Token, MFT is a new type of cryptocurrency that combines the features of meme coins and NFTs. It merges these concepts by creating a token that can be traded like a meme coin (fungible) but also holds unique properties like an NFT.

I actually came to know this while studying Non-Playable Coin (NPC). Interestingly it has a total supply matching the estimated world population (7.9 billion) and each token can be converted into a collectible NFT.

I wonder if the NFTs are going to be human pictures or AI or something else and I wonder if someone were to randomly get the one and only Elon Musk NFT, what would it be worth...?

These are just imagination coz I don't know what the NFT look like really!

Has anyone else come across this and has any further information or options?

Thanks guys!

How does owning Art Blue Print in NFT Works?
by
AltLord
on 15/06/2024, 08:40:54 UTC
Hey guys... Some concepts are easier to understand than others in the crypto space like owning a wallet and a key! Some others need more attention to details and sometimes there are general assumptions that people know something.

Yesterday I came across Artfi, an art-tech company making valuable art accessible to a wider audience with fractionalization of ownership with NFTs. I'm not sure if they are achieving this with ERC-404 cos there was no specification.

People could purchase portion of a high-value artwork, like those by Picasso or Banksy, instead of needing the full amount. Loads of royalty and industry leaders, including Princess Hend Al Qassemi, Landmark Group shareholder have endorsed it and they have crossed the $100 million valuation since 2022. I have no idea what's their worth is now.

My dilemma is what happens when an individual decides to buy the whole of one particular NFT and the fractional owners sell it to him, does he own the real-life artwork or only an NFT?

What could be the advantages of owning fraction of NFTs like these?

Let me know you POV in the comment section guys... Thanks

Are Web3 P2E Becoming Playable?
by
AltLord
on 08/06/2024, 21:45:20 UTC
Play to earn is really fun in the gaming world and it's sort of a nice feeling for those gamers who just want to play without being seen by the public on twitch or YouTube etc. But, earnings taste much better when gamers actually enjoy the game they are playing...

The crypto space is moving towards making P2E a norm but one of the missing components so far I believe is graphic... Many Web3 games graphics aren't even close to console level but I recon it's a working in progress.

So yesterday I saw this game BloodLoop which I have to say are doing quite a good job. I saw some guys playing the closed beta and the graphic was Fortnite like and it was impressive. Like 5v5 and intense Death match all sound really good and although I'm yet to explore, I am already hooked!

So what are your thoughts on this kinda gameplay? Are there Web3 games with high end graphics that makes gaming exciting? Pls share

P2E or Not-P2E or Both?
by
AltLord
on 06/06/2024, 13:43:59 UTC
Hey guys, I came across GamerHash which is actually not so new in the crypto space. For those who don't know much about them, they have quite a large user base of over 780,000 and allows gamers monetize their idle computing power for AI tasks, 3D rendering and crypto mining and earn through their GamerCoin token ($GHX).

My curiosity arises when I'm posed with the option of P2E like Engines of Fury. What do you guys think?

With some extra computing power on my desktop, should I just continue with my P2E or try reduce playing time and give room for GamerHash or just do both?

Which one earns more?

Re: space themed memes gaining more ground..
by

on 30/05/2024, 11:24:19 UTC
I think the community support for these space themed memecoins are appealing in part because, the fact that they are already in space gives the sense that they are going to take off and get some mad Xx%...

This, coupled with SpaceX launch is sort of a good timing for meme coins

Will Utility Make Memecoins More Stable?
by
AltLord
on 28/05/2024, 14:49:20 UTC
Hey guys, although utility was amongst the foundations of early crypto currencies like BTC and ETH, memecoin are generally fueled by community buzz and even KOL or celebrity figures. The recent of these peculiar example I can remember is SLERF.

I wrote about Catamoto sometimes ago and how it was integrating services DeFi into its memecoin platform. But today I came across another memecoin DOGEMOB following the same pattern.

DogeMob is a memecoin platform that merges the fun of memes with real cryptocurrency advancements. It has a strong community of over 11,000 members and launching its web3 game, adding new features to its token and integrating entertainment with practical applications.

Is this a new trend with memecoin? I know I play lots of games so I believe games can definitely attract a new niche. But will utilities like this make memecoins more stable in general?

Re: Another Dog🐕 themed memecoin LAIKA looks set to dominate..

Memecoin backed by an actual community drive usually have a better chance in the volatile realm of crypto.

I remember when Wrexham community put a substantial amount into their team just to keep it standing and that is the power of a community...

However though I don't know how big LAIKA community is at the moment but if they are passionate and even make the right moves in the marketing department, then I don't see why it will not come good. I saw there airdrop on X (https://twitter.com/DogLaikaSpace/status/1792302981938872496) like the OP pointed out and it is actually with things like these that the community grows.

Can Utility like DeFi Transform a Memecoin's Status?
by

Hey guys, I'm inclined to believe that memecoins are generally fueled by community hype and even KOL or celebrity figures. The recent of these peculiar example I can remember is SLERF.

What seems to both catch my attention and puzzle me is when memecoin tend to have utility. Yesterday I saw Catamoto which I knew as a memecoin were now having DeFi functionalities and were even forging strategic partnership with big names like BlueZilla.

My question is, do project like these stop being a memecoin? Can this be a DeFi platform with its memecoin or just a memecoin forever? What is the threshold? Are there others like this?

Cheers guys

Is Offline Mining Actually a Thing?
by
AltLord
on 15/05/2024, 14:06:20 UTC
Hey guys, I've always had an eye for earning passively and amongst my strategies as everyone in my cycle, is mining fringe tokens. In the recent past, I believe a lot of miners were able to earn some substantial rewards from tokens like Avive, Ice etc...

What puzzled me was when I came across Canxium a new mining prospect that introduces a concept of offline mining. They said their offline mining facilitates the areas with less or no internet access to mine CAU.

I just wanted to know how that could be feasible and how they would be syncing the data on the blockchain etc? Have anyone heard of this? How does it work? Is it worth it?

Re: Could I’ve hit a jackpot?
by
AltLord
on 11/05/2024, 13:57:21 UTC
Now, I'll admit, I'm not usually one for memecoins or crypto games, but this little something called NOTCOIN turned into something quite intriguing for me. A few months back, a friend shared a referral link on telegram and before I knew it, I was hooked on this addictive little game.

The amount of big-name traders and investors getting involved was seriously impressive. I'm talking about folks like Farmercist, and the game ended up with over 35 million players and a peak of six million daily users. That's no small feat tbh .

So, naturally, I started inviting my friends to join in on the fun, and let's just say, I got a little too engrossed in it. There were days where I'd forget to eat, I was so into it! At one point, I had a chance to trade some of my NOT tokens for a nice little in-game voucher which was $200 at that time but I held off, thinking it might be worth something down the line.

Well, fast forward a bit, and now those tokens are trading at a $0.1 on the pre-market. Right now am kinda like overwhelmed if I should start making my choice of CAR I’ve always wanted or this too might be worth NOTHING as the name implies

I only learnt about it late and I couldn't get that much. But congratulations to you all that were able to get substantial NOT coins... I am going with the share size of the community and sentiments, I'm going to explore buying during the presale on Bitget and hopefully I can be in on the action too.

I saw it trending on Twitter as they had an airdrop but when I checked it out it was ending so I didn't participate. But UDS seems to have some good backing and if there is anything I can tell you, it is that the big bois don't invest in projects unless they can see it's potential...

The graphics was good and I believe the community is growing too. The listing on Bitget will open it a bigger audience and probably more investors I believe.

All in all, small project but promising potential.

Re: What does meta education actually mean?

is the education referring to the usual prompts given to an AI or a more sophisticated approach?
It’s more than just talking to an AI.

Meta education can allow students or even teachers to learn more about the subject in a way that is more intuitive. With stimulation, you are making sure that the students are focused and paying attention since it’s fun.

I am confused though how does this correlate to altcoins?  Huh

I think this post is better suited elsewhere.

Lol... Simulation seems a good approach...

Ohhh, as for how it relates to altcoins... Actually, GPTVerse is a blockchain project that has other extentions and it's token GPTV was listed on Bitget recently and it's doing quite well... It was while going through it I came across the education extension of its project.

so many people already expressed the same concern about AIs and VRs. i'm sure it's going to learn easily when the education is also visually available through the VRs, if being a physicist student allows you to simulate a real surgery through meta, i think meta serves a good purpose.

but if it's used to educate people about the fake news online and teach people not about honesty, i guess this is just something we have to stop. the problem is that it's the governments that are initiating these lies and they are going to be using AIs and meta.

It is usually the ethical perspective that seems to spark the debate and concern. Until and Unless there are ethical boundaries, there would be abuse. But who then can we saddle with the responsibility? Definitely not the government I would say

Slowly, we have witnessed the advent of meta and how virtual reality is bringing about new innovations. Although I don't own one of those expensive VR glasses but I always find myself at the fence when it comes to usage or not. Probably because I haven't tried it yet...
There was a time back then wherein vr glasses were solely used for entertainment and games. It is cutting edge technology and it was really fun to use and now we are seeing it be incorporated into educational activities.

Metaverse education encompasses a lot of things beyond just giving prompts to AI technology. With metaverse education students will be able to approach education in a more interactive and engaging manner.

We are able to transport students into another world quite literally so that they further understand the concepts being taught to them. Albeit really helpful and sophisticated, it is not yet accessible to everyone which is a shame and a regret.

Because it is quite expensive at the moment means it won't be accessible for most as you said. But like every technology out there, when there is competition and advances in the manufacturing technology, the price eventually comes down... Like when Sim Cards first came to my country, it was about $40 each and now it's less than 50 cents... I don't think it would be this dramatic but I know time will bring it down...

Why did the 1st Gen NFTs have to be so damn
by

To be honest, there are many things i will probably never understand about NFTs cos I couldnt understand the inspiration behind its ugliness. I think it was odd how the first generation NFTs, especially this ape club, were ugly as hell. Sure, the whole nft idea was bewildering really, but why was it all so ugly as well?

is there a hidden utility in ugliness or am i missing something?

As far as it's my fund, I'd after having Invested on the bitcoin, I diversifies to farm on well lucracious, populous and a listed token projects where I don't only rean my faith on hypes but reputations.

I may only assume that investing on this your introduced Bouncebit token would me a gamble but yet I'm not in for it until it's listed in the market cap to trending.

I share  your skepticism so I checked it out a little more. And I see it's  been listed on some Cexs  already   https://www.coincarp.com/fa/events/bouncebit-new-listing-on-bitget-pre-market/. All in all,  I would say investing in a new token is a gamble. So its wise risk what you're ready to loose
