Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO
by
AltcoinAuthority
on 05/10/2019, 05:26:13 UTC
Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

Mining would take a long time. Investing in non ICO or IEO is better.

Re: Dropbox -modern cloud storage or DxBox -Blockchain-based cloud storage solution?

DxBox is a demo application builds on top of DxChain Testnet v0.3.6. It serves as an interface which simplifies the process for users on file uploading and downloading. The application uses the client-provider model for data transferring, where the client is a node that uses DX Token, the DxChain cryptocurrency, for file storage, file uploading, and file downloading. Provider, on the other hand, is a node that provides storage services with disk space to get profits rewarded by the client. To become a provider, the node must make an announcement, which will be added to the blockchain.

First of all, it's not clear what happens when one (or 1000 !) providers leave the network (temporarily or forever). Is there a way to ensure that users' files don't get corrupted or missing?
Second: Dropbox is quite well integrated in tools. From "camera uploads" that works (while some competitors still have issues) to applications that can link with Dropbox account for sync... I think that maybe Google Drive can compete with that, at least on Android. Even if first problem is handles well, there's still a lot of work before DxBox will have a chance against Dropbox.

Have a look at this.
Due to the use of erasure coding mechanism, only part of data pieces are needed to recover the original file. Therefore, in case there are some storage hosts left the network, you can still recover your file using the rest of data pieces. For the detailed explanation, you can take a look at the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VERYY-LeUo&t=287s
What's the point of that.

Coins need software not more coins.

Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help

this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP
I don't understand why the best coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum are not included in the list, and you made a big mistake by putting XRP, XEM and NEO on the list, these three coins are not suitable for investment, these three coins are only suitable as payment instruments.

Anything that grows in value whatever platform they carry is a good  investment.
OP choose these coins for some reasons and that is based on his analysis.

XRP, XEM, and NEO are all good performers in the past and they maintain a good trading volume, during the last 3 years, these XRP and XEM were among the hottest altcoins in the market so OP maybe seeing its undervalued now and could give him great return when it bounce back.
Those coins are scams. I think that Ethereum is the only leading coin.

Re: Why are investors still complaining?

Among all those many investors there must be some unfortunate people who got trapped into putting their money to unpopular IEO with shady exchange behind it and those are usually the one who whine the most.
Need to point out that most of the IEO you mentioned above is from popular exchange which is helped by the credibility of the exchange aswell as the huge liquidity in each exchange making it easy for investors to liquidate the token and making them less afraid while other less relevan exchange that offers IEO will just only have investors who dump after the token distributed.
People don't get their coins that is why they complain all the time.

As long as it is a bounty token, the change is limited that it will not survived. most tokens that did bounty failed to pass through IEO/ICO. The ones that survived got dumped on exchanges. whenever a token in an exchange has no volume, the changes of loosing out is high. it is quite difficult to predict with the outcome will be.
Bounty tokens are not worth much. Just invest in coins that don't go on exchanges yet.

Some people here are claiming that the recent price drop is a consequence of the "airdrop" dumpers, but the earndrop withdrawals are not live yet, they will open up after all the rounds are completed. This price drop is just a natural occurrence if taking into account a rapid price growth in the past few months.
Airdropped coins could have a negative affect in the market because people don't want those coins.

The bult of altoins are less than 20 per cent of their all-time-highs, compared with bitcoin which has achieved atleast 40 per cent of its ATH. Value for alts will likely remain poor unless there is a drop in the bitcoin dominance, currently we are at 67.2 per cent , which is significantly high.
Coins won't go high if they are manipulated all the time. Expect to see some dumps soon.

Token valuation is known on exchange even investors are only rich based on promises made by projects but until such token is weighed in the exchange its true value won't be known.
I think that true values won't be known at all. People need to know that spreadshets don't mean anything.

Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors?
by
AltcoinAuthority
on 05/10/2019, 05:23:04 UTC
Not too much. 40% is the appropriate bonus for people who support the project for a long time. As you know, in the long run, the prices of altcoins collapse
That is alot of coins. People would be ready for markets out to dump the coins eventually.

Is a huge investments man especially with the time you put the effort i think is hard work which is why as a bounty hunter you just have to choose effectively
He is not paying anything for the investment so i guess that it would not be a technical investment even though there is a lot of confusion on that part.

You need to delete your blockfolio and check back in 6 months. I promise you everything will be okay.
He does not have to delete his blockfolio he should just stay away from it because that information could be needed later on.

No better source of information  that a project white paper and the official website. If one must  invest in any icon, it is necessary  to devote some time to study the white paper
Reading the Whitepaper and having the announcements is going to have a lot of bad reviews and information on there so you have to be very careful to not get scammed.

yes of course. investing in Ethereum is the right decision. because Ethereum is one of the promising and potentially good coins of the future. Ethereum development is also very fast. besides that Ethereum is also good to invest in long term or short term.
Ethereum is the investment to pick but not all the coins is going to have the same outlook as Ethereum though. Just wait it out.

I believe that there will be good altcoins that will bring us profit.
If you promote a coin long enough then you may have a higher amount of people wanting to purchase the coin. Have you tried doing that?

i sure  altcoins will rise... Until you sold your coins at a reduced price and fixed a loss,  you still have the hope that the total price of your investment portfolio may return.

The money that is within the cryptocurrency community is usually left on the markets. If you leave your money off those places then the price will go higher.

Ethereum, how long is a piece of string?
The price of Ethereum is based on the amount of people willing to pour their money into it. A piece of string is another logic that won't work in this situation because the price depends on the people.

by

Actually they have some many reason on why the ICO failed. Some problem of that was some investor are leaving in the project, And some of are the hardcap are not reach so they going to stop some of there project they introduced. But they have some scammers also the threat of project
They usually fail because the price of the coin is a lot plus they have a softcap that is not really easy to be obtained. A softcap is not needed.

Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it?
by
AltcoinAuthority
on 09/06/2018, 01:59:32 UTC
I’m new to the crypto world, I have some bad experience yet but I’m being educated little-by-little, based on my experience here in crypto world. I notice that some users when they see that bitcoin and ethereum coin had a very bad drop, so does the token, they are selling almost 70% of their holdings of that token. And I have experienced that when the market goes down, so does the token doing some panic sell.  May I ask, is it advisable to sell the tokens you hold, when the price of your token goes really down?
I think the market is dependably all over in light of the fact that the idea of the crypto is continually fluctuating and if my altcoin is likewise influenced by the market decay then I will shield it from selling until the point when the economic situations recuperate again on the grounds that it is just brief.

When you see the price of the bitcoin drops and you start to panic because you feel that your going to loose your investments, then you will just end loosing all of your money. I can say that you just keep your patience and just wait for the price movement to go up again and when you see that you can earn already, then that's the time you sell your coins.
There is no reason to worry if the investment is going to make it or not. If you ever feel that way then just don't put your money into it.

What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?
I recommend you have to invest in the DASH & WAVES. It is a very cheap and the promising coins.
I wouldn't recommend using that coin to begin with because they are just not capable of having a high amount of volume now. You would have to wait a while before it picks up.

Re: Favorite Coin for 2018?
by
AltcoinAuthority
on 08/06/2018, 21:13:18 UTC
My favorite coin is probably EOS. It had the biggest ICO ever and it has made its way into the top 5 before it even launched its mainnet. Now that people can really develop with it, the possibilities are endless.
That wouldn't be my fav. I would pick Ethereum as a favorite coin to use because I've traded that coin a whole lot, the people that use that coin know what I am talking about..
