damn, this will be great
maybe another big company like Microsoft and Google will be doing the same thing soon

I think Microsoft already into Blockchain technology. They started implementing the use of Blockchain technology late 2018/early 2019.
We might just be waiting for the big game changer "Google" to do the same.

Re: KuCoin Platform 2.0

Went to kucoin exchange website and it looks different much better than the old design of the platform. not that dull anymore.  they also made this trading password which i almost ruined because i kept putting 2fa on it lol. lesson learned read before do something. lot's of changes and features added on the website. can't miss that out.
The only two features I like in the upgrade is;
1. The use of user code in the trading platform
2. The way the fee for transactions has been shared depending on your transactions.

Re: Bull run for all?

Bull run ! Bull run!!
Please I care to know if the bull run we are expecting is actually for all altcoin,is it also including those altcoin with another wallet too.
One major thing about Bull run is that once the mother coin like bitcoin or ethereum should rise, all other altcoins that is connected to it also rise regardless of the wallet you store the altcoin.  Once its connected to the mother coin, you are good to go.

Re: Old coins vs new coins
by
Altcoinboss
on 17/02/2019, 09:07:55 UTC
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,
1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?

I stick with the mentality that most old coins that went through the bull run has reached their elastic limit( that is, showing the highest height they can go).

I believe in Investing in new coin because they are still new to the system and if the project is cool, they have the potential to rise and multiply itself more than the old coin when the next bull run happens.

Re: Is that GREEN? BTC BULL RUN V2019?

Howdy Folks!
This is what we are in a need of, a green color!
Today was a good day for btc, profits are nice..
But, what do you think? will this last?
Is this the Bull Run?
Honestly, the crypto market needed a good event like this one so that peoples could think again about crypto, imho, i think that some whales are back to the game ground. Otherwise, that move might make people Fomo'in and there will be bigger dumps.. Be wise guys!
*Share your thoughts*
I think this is how bull run do start. Because when people see sudden rise in the crypto market they won't want to be left out therefore creating FOMO. So the more they buy the higher the rise.

So I strongly stand that bull run might start as a result of this.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?
by
Altcoinboss
on 04/02/2019, 08:29:24 UTC
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

well to me the main objective of selling altcoin is to get reasonable profit so I think everybody has a reason for selling. You might be in need of cash and you might want to your altcoin.

In short altcoin must be sold it can't be hodl forever.

Re: Huge tokens during Bounties

I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.
what else do you expect the bounty hunter to do than to hodl the coin for some time and then sell when the price goes up to make a reasonable profit. This is what most bounty hunter does because you can't expect them to keep for years because the are not the main project investor.

Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum.
by

on 02/02/2019, 08:55:39 UTC
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you
As for me I think these two coins are still the most popular coin, so I will advice you to divide the money you want to invest into 2 and then invest equally. And on the other hand, you can invest 60% in BTC cos it's the mother coin and 40% in ETH.

Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks

Re: Bitcoin is approaching the absolute record for the time of the bear cycle!
by
Altcoinboss
on 31/01/2019, 09:09:56 UTC
Bitcoin is rapidly approaching the establishment of the record for the longest duration of a fall in the course of its 10-year history. In the period from November 2013 to January 2015, the first cryptocurrency experienced the most prolonged price correction, which lasted 410 days. After this period, Bitcoin entered the accumulation stage, which laid a solid foundation for future growth in 2016-2017. The bull market culminated in December 2017, when Bitcoin set a price record in the region of $ 19,700. From the beginning of 2018 and until now, the course of digital gold has been in a long downward spiral. If the price of Bitcoin does not begin its recovery by February 2, 2019, the community will be able to mark a new record set by this cryptocurrency - the longest correction stage in history.
well it's a good analysis tho, but from what I'm seeing I guess bitcoin will set the longest recovery time and the recovery will be around late February and early march. The recent chat of BTC resembles the chart of the October 2014. So looking at the months intervals so I hope by march we should be out of the bear market.

Re: So, who hasn't lost coins or been scammed?

So far so good have not been scammed. But I almost got scammed few months back. I was already in 90%. It was all this binance scam. I was added to a cloned telegram group where It was named binance. I thought it was my real binance group. Suddenly I was told they were doing Eth giveaway. You send small and they multiply by 10 for you. I was 90% in before coming back to my senses.

Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam?
by

on 30/01/2019, 07:38:07 UTC
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
In my own opinion most ICOs that started towards the end of last year were scam.
But here are the things you have to look out for to know if the ICOs are legit or scam.
1. Check the viability of the project. That is, how feasible is the project(Is the project achievable or not)
2. Check the project team as a whole. Look out for their advisors, team lead etc.
3. Read through their whitepaper to see their roadmap and how they will execute the project. Thanks

For me it has been nearly everyday once for years now.  Grin
I check up to 3 to 5 times daily. Reason because I already have a list of altcoins that I possess on my watchlist. So that if there is any small pump I will easily see it and make reasonable profit. Thank you

Re: Tired of waiting?
by

If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
As for me, I can never leave the crypto space no matter how bearish the market may look like now because I definitely know the good old days would come by again.

Take for instance, those that joined the crypto space in 2014/2015 got their reward in a big way late 2017. So I think it's not too bad to wait. I believe the green light is going to show soon. Thanks

Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays?
by
Altcoinboss
on 25/01/2019, 13:07:21 UTC
⭐ Merited by Coolcryptovator (1)
This question of "Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays" keep ringing in my head because early last year there were different predictions about the rise of the crypto market in general from the so called "crypto experts" and "analysts". But to my greatest surprise, at the end of the year I could only see maybe one out of all the predictions I read about becoming true.

This makes me deduce that the crypto market can't be predicted to some extent.

Want to know people's view on this. Thanks

Re: ICO reached hard cap - 50 MILLION- not listed in an exchange - SCAM?
by

on 24/01/2019, 15:21:20 UTC
As for me I cannot say not listing on exchange 3 month after ICO is a scam. I have different altcoins that reached their hard cap since last year and they are not scam because they do update investors via telagram groups on the stage of their various projects.

So I will advice you to join their telegram to get the latest information about the project.

Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency?
by
Altcoinboss
on 24/01/2019, 07:46:39 UTC
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
My biggest regret happened few days back. I had an altcoin but never knew it was on the exchange since last year, noticed few days ago and I saw that it has been oversold and everyone had dumped their coin. Now the coin has turned shit coin. If I had sell then, would hv made a good profit in $$$$$$.

Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins
by
Altcoinboss
on 22/01/2019, 05:30:56 UTC
Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.

I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks

For tokens obtained from bounties it would be better to immediately sell when we see a good price which at least will make a profit for you even though it's only a small profit, I also experienced it and until now I still hold the tokens that I get from investment at the ICO and some of the bounties that I was very disappointed I did not continue to pay attention to them, so I was left with good moments when the price of the token was indeed feasible. So my advice is to keep abreast of their developments so that you don't miss a good moment for you to profit from the tokens and altcoins that you hold.
Thanks very much hahay I think I will do just that.
What I do now is following the projects, knowing their individual progresses and put all my altcoins on watchlist on CMC. What do you think about that?

Re: CMC or ForbesCrypto?
by
Altcoinboss
on 18/01/2019, 16:41:26 UTC
Well I do use both. But Forbes crypto can never be compared to CMC. CMC is still the best in terms of features, updates etc. CMC even has Telegram bots that gives me day to day activities such as market updates, analysis, news and also teaches things to know about crypto such as crypto terms, how to protect ur crypto etc.

So they can never be compared in any way. Thanks
