Re: The right time to invest

Nobody can answer this better because in the end, you have to take the risk. So, I would suggest you weigh the pros and cons of the market and proceed accordingly.
That is true! In trading you can only succeed when you start analyzing the market against the popular opinion on social media. Investing into cryptocurrency market is game and most time outside you personal trading strategy you gut matters a lot.

The effect of covid19 pandemic is going to last long and you can notice that from how the oil and stocks market is behaving. We should not expect much to happen in cryptocurrencies market as people began to understand that cryptocurrencies is made or discovered for the time like this. The cash system is going to fail.

Why bitcoin should be bullish at this moment!
by

on 14/03/2020, 09:21:55 UTC
Payment for goods and services through cash can transmit Corona virus, doing transactions through bank, especially cash deposits can also transmit the virus. The safest way that we can create values and pay for goods and services during this time still remain blockchain and those selling off at this moment are doing so because they did not spend time to study the Blockchain technology and how it works.

Bitcoin was created for time like this!
by
Altcoins enthusiast
on 14/03/2020, 09:09:50 UTC
The market behavior that see bitcoin down to $3900 and bitcoin follows stocks, commodities and oil in all time sell off on Thursday should not discourage the bitcoin enthusiasts because people did not understand that bitcoin was created for time like this.
Investors have not spent their time in studying bitcoin white paper and most of them did not have the knowledge of bitcoin be a safe haven during natural disaster like Corona virus as this is the best means of holding and transferring values without third-party involvement and services. I believe that our governments are going to see good in blockchain and promote it as the best means of using money during epidemic like Corona virus. To me this is blessing for bitcoin and the economic experts are going to see good in blockchain for the first time.

Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ?
by

on 03/03/2020, 20:12:59 UTC
I still believe that it is still extremely difficult to predict the future of most of the coins we have now. A day is coming when ripple is going to be above $5. We have seen how it move early 2018 and some coins that people have lose hope on has also made such significant gains in the past. I pray that ripple recover in time and make such big gains.

Re: Bounty hunters will never learn
by

on 03/03/2020, 17:58:07 UTC
Today I managed to do research on cerlos bounty project and I find few red flags that I will like to share with you guys, here is the bounty project link

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5226965.0

1. At first, the red flag I spotted was the teams pictures, how hard can it be that teams can't take high quality pictures with a camera or their smartphones instead they used blurry pictures and it's same pictures on their LinkedIn account, the only difference is color, Black and White.

2. Secondly the CEO himself has two different names, the project website ( cerlos.io ) says Robert Bedard and on another website ( myitguyrob.com ) says Robert .H , to me I think the real Robert is Robert .H because the same picture was used on myitguyrob.com website, here is a screenshot from myitguyrob.com

3. Another red flag is one of the team advisor named ( Antoon Eggenhuizen ) which real name is unknown but another LinkedIn account says this man name is (Jaap Kolk ), below is another screenshot to back my claim

Now my question to all bounty hunters promoting this project is, what the hell are you guys doing? How do you even do research in the first place? These scams aren't that hard to see , I'm surprised many bounty hunters joined, this have a lot to say that people don't do research anymore and yet you will see them creating posts about not getting paid from bounty projects on this forum when the fault was theirs, Grow up Hunters, Grow up.

You are to see bounties hunter as a gambler because we have see so many projects that were classified as scam here and at the end those projects turned out to be one of the best rewards coins or tokens of that time. We are all here seeking for opportunities and at that participating in some of these bounties may turn out to be a rewarding decision.

Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS
by

on 03/03/2020, 17:27:03 UTC
You have a good point but at the same time if every projects start paying before bounty it still doesn't stop the fact that those coins can be worthless or scam, you can get paid of a token or coin that won't be useful for anyone,

Secondly the moderators on this forum have enough jobs on their hands, that won't be a easy task for those who look after this forum, moderators are humans like us and not super humans
I really and totally agree with what you just said! I participated in a bounty around August 2018 and we were paid weekly but uptill now the coin remain a scam coin. I prefer to participate in a bounty that last very long but at the end I benefit from it as I have do from bounty in the past. However I see all this as luck becouse some of the project we thought are genuine are scam and most time it is at the end of the campaign that we discover this.

Re: How does price action really works? Traders are predicts?
by

via Imgflip Meme Generator

In any market, we do speculate and theres no such thing about 100% accuracy but at least using up TA's are much more better
rather than doing blind trading. When it comes to price actions which news or sentiments does really give out impact
and as a trader you should at least know on how to utilize up these things.
Trading action always shows to us how to buy low and sell high. I have see many opportunities of trading bitcoin and make good money but the perfect knowledge on how to buy low and sell high through the interpretation of the price action is not there. If you can get these knowledge then you have gold in your hands.

It is such a relieve when we usually see the price in favor of your expectations and desire. While OP was already happily contented seeing bitcoin touched $8k. It isn't stopping where it is right now. We have touched $10k and there's more to go.

Yes! Good days ahead, Guys.
We will make it. Bitcoin to 100k

-BTC$9,771.16
Hopefully and I'm very encouraged to see that!
I am awaiting that price before I could sell. I have see several prediction at that level and some of them are from professional traders. $100,000 we might not see it this year but bitcoin will surely got there one day. This always give me excitement and happiness.

Re: Was Ripple the cause of this bullish trend? What do you think?
by
Altcoins enthusiast
on 02/03/2020, 20:39:59 UTC
If ripple was the reason why bitcoin went above $10000 and ethereum trying to test $300 then it could have been the highest venefitor of the recent bullish run but I did not see anything like that. Ripple seem to have lose the memory of recovery and I think it can be the reason why other coins are gaining.

Something that sounds too good to be truth should be avoided! I really do not see the company having anough capital to cover the difference if such transactions and to me it is too risky for one to involve in such risky transactions especially the one you know it is purely scams. But you know people are going to fall for this.

Re: Trading vs. Investing.
by

on 02/03/2020, 06:49:47 UTC
Trading and Investing are both methods for you to gain money in this virtual world. Both investors and traders earn money through the help of the market. They are good ways to make a profit.

Investors gain money when they but cryptocurrency and holds it for a long time, until bitcoin inflation happens, they will but cryptocurrency when the market is already down then if the market goes high that is the time that they will gain money by withdrawing it. While traders use the inflation and deflation of bitcoin to earn money, it involves buying and selling of currency in the virtual world.

So if you want to earn more money, you can do both things, the more, the merrier, if you are a beginner, then don't invest and trade significant amount of money because you may fail from it, you should do research first before doing that because it is not a simple thing, you should have an excellent knowledge and skill to be successful in both methods.

Investment and trading are the same thing and the little different is the level of risk involved. Many people that involved in cryptocurrencies are both investing and trading at the same time. Some of us that has little knowledge on technical and fundamental analysis always thought that we are not trading by buying bitcoin and holding but holders are traders as far as profit is involved.

Re: Bitcoin needs to be in a bull market before the halving
by
Altcoins enthusiast
on 27/02/2020, 06:33:24 UTC
Just remember that folks.

The Bitcoin market was bullish before the two previous halvings (hence no clear correlation in my humble opinion). But if you believe there is a correlation then it's important to consider other indicators, and not the halving alone.

When you check the history of Bitcoin price, you will notice there was a clear bullish trend before the two halvings occurred.

I am in the minority here but I doubt this year will be bullish, the trend is still bearish, it has been bearish since we were rejected below 14k last summer.

Watch out for March-April, if they are still bearish months, there is no way IMO the price will skyrocket this year. The important prices here are 10.5k (very strong resistance) and 14k. Before we break these prices again there will be no uptrend.

I am not your financial adviser. Just my opinion  Tongue
From the beginning of this year bitcoin has gained much and there is no way we can said bitcoin is not in the bullish condition now. I can tell you as trader that the condition that has or will influence bitcoin market has changed and this current condition is need for more big buyers to get into the market as there is buying limitation above $10,000.
