Re: Bitcoin as a socially fair currency

I donot consider bitcoin as a currency. If it were a currency it would have some centrally controllable dynamics which would have controlled it's volatility and this peak level of price that we are witnessing wouldn't be a reality.

There are both optimistic and pessimistic people regarding the bitcoin future. At the current scenario you can't withstand alone with bitcoin if you are not willing to exchange it to dollar or another acceptable currency.

When we have a proper strategy and good budget to spend on you can make a decent profit out of it.But recommendation is you get onto some fresh alts and join the pump and dump game. You would surely make a profit more than expected and then you convert the alts to bitcoin while you earn profit.Just don't hold onto alts for very long,do what you have to do to make a profit and then just GTFO Smiley

You might have heard by now that the people facing trial in the Silk Road case are pleading guilty to charges that include unlicensed currency transfers. I'm curious about how currency transfers become "licensed" and whether most Bitcoin transactions could count as "unlicensed."
Just like you can't drive without having a driving license, you aren't allowed to transact with people's money without having certain authority from your nation/state.

When selling things and services online for bitcoin. If you are around the community like this I would suggest using escrow.Don't just get greedy and give out your original work/services directly without receiving a advance payments.Don't deal with stranger or newbies

Re: How could I sell something for Bitcoin today?
by
Altminer79

I know Open Bazaar is coming soon. But is there any way to sell something today for Bitcoin over the internet?

I'm likely getting a few OnePlus invites in a week or so. I would like to sell them for Bitcoin.

Assuming the buyer trusts me, he could simply send the payment to an address I specify. But it's unlikely someone would put that amount of trust into someone on a forum.

Since Open Bazaar is not out yet, is there any escrow service which would allow me to make the transaction as stated above?
First you have to build up the trust around the communities like this or there are many other money making/discussions forums which you could join and offer up your services for Bitcoin.

MIT’s Kendall Square bookstore might be the first campus retail shop in the country to accept Bitcoins from students

The aim of the club is to provide forums where students can discuss, develop, and study  Bitcoin-related ideas, projects, programs, and businesses. “We believe Bitcoin has the potential to be not just a digital currency, but the future of money,” according to the group.

Educational sector's acceptance of bitcoin may lead to huge publicity of the coin amongst the people. It is a good news

We use TST services to make sure numbers are randomly generated, you can be assured it is provably fair. If a player has never deposited before we may require a deposit on free money, but most of the time we do not.

Alright, thanks for the answer.
