Re: [ANN]DIGIWAGE (WAGE) - Decentralized Freelance Platform |MN|POS|NO ICO

Hey Community!!

Due to some differences in opinion on our way forward and the internal workings of the marketing effort, I have decided to step down as Marketing Lead from Digiwage.

It has been building a long time on my side, that the lack of progress is holding the project back. Unfortunately my views weren't those of our lead developer and this tore open some old wounds/opinions.
Our developer doesn't have it easy, as he does the bulk of all the work without any outside help and without funding as we did never do any ICO or fundraising.
I respect his work and his effort and only wish things got talked about more and a more solid meeting/communication schedule was made up for us.

I don't think I can stay on as Marketing Lead after the falling out and I might have handled it less professional then I should have.

I wish the project and it's community all the best and hope that it will get the attention that it deserves.

Greets & well wishes
Alvaron

We expect to hear different points of view and for people who are interested in us to talk about it.

I for one, do not feel that every opinion is equal; meaning I value the opinion of an active member with freelance or hiring experience higher than that of someone who just popped up and skreeches their idea's in an non-adult way.
I'm willing to listen  to everyone ofcourse but will weigh the underlying value of that opinion.

We are just days away from the next update.
It is true that this medium is underused by us at Digiwage, we are focused on the discord.

I'll try to post here more often and I'll ask Dev to do the same.

Yes, that's one of the points we're working on, getting the loadtimes down.

We see that happening.
It's not because we don't hold price at the highest of *needs* that we don't monitor the market.

Those who sold at these prices might want to rethink as most of the work of updating the front-end with the back-end stuff is nearing completion.
Testservers show everything is going as expected and we might see the live version sooner than later.

We don't focus that much on price, but we agree that a higher dollar value would help WAGE and it's usecase.

Work is being done to get the backend updates to the frontend and a marketing campaign will follow that update.

As marketing lead of Digiwage, I want to be as transparant as I can be. Therefor I've made this quick announcement on our discord, that I'll mirror here:

-------------------------------------------

You will see a move in a premine wallet soon. This move is going to the marketing fund and will be used as give away and incentive in upcoming events to onboard entrepreneurs and  freelancers.
I just wanted to make that clear, so you know how funds are spent.

-------------------------------------------

If there are any questions, please hop on the discord where I spend most of my time!
Thanks,
- Alvaron

It should be working. People are still getting past it.

Did you write "!verify " ? The prefix "!verify" is needed

a question: Will we be able to fund our (web) wallets with BTC in the future?
I know the roadmap says there'll be a DEX, do we have to wait untill then?

Yes, we watched the voting process. We saw attempts to manipulate the result. What can you offer to improve the situation?

We ourselves voted for POS-POS-MN and 5 coins per block. Our view is the best solution, people voted differently.

What variant of voting will suit all?

Owners of MN who did not sell coins will be able to run MN worth 10,000 coins. In addition, price is low and you can simply buy coins.

You can also cooperate with someone to run one MN for several people. In addition, the POS system will work. You will be able to get profit from holding coins.

Offer your options for developing coins. We will respect your wishes.

If a 1000 coin MN does the same as a 10,000 ... What is the date you see as "Owners of MN who did not sell"? End of vote (that costs me 1 MN as I got rewards to make a new one shortly after), release of new wallet, or snapshot (you need to make that public to be fair)??

I really hope this project succeeds, but please (!!) look into a community/marketing manager. It is needed as communication is very lacking!
