Re: Betting on the impossible
by

Once in a while I'm sure that most of us bet on the impossible or ridiculous things just for fun and for the thrills, I'd also say that nothing is impossible especially in betting or gambling as anything is possible. Some I spend money on betting in the most ridiculous things just to see the outcome of it.

Re: Content creation
by
AmaGold70
on 13/07/2025, 00:14:17 UTC
Do you notice that so many people are into content creation these days? Everyone is always filming something and posting it in hopes of gaining views, likes and followers. Once they have enough audience, they can start earning from their page and this is what is their biggest motivator. There are people who have day jobs that don't pay enough so they try their luck in content creation.

Now, I am seeing many more kids just get into it right away instead of trying to find other traditional jobs. The older generation do not even consider this a real job. But do you think, as lucrative the industry is, will it survive? Will it continue to be a good source of income? If you are struggling financially, have you ever considered content creation? Does content creation offer anything to the economy?
I have never considered content Creation because it's so much hard work trying to earn followers, the world is digitalize and we all benefit from content Creators so I'd say that it is a real job, content Creators earn more money than most government workers and if I get the motivation I need to start I would do it.

Keeping it a secret from his spouse was not a good decision in the first place, but then we also need to understand the reason behind the secret. It could be that his spouse is not a fan of gambling and the only way to maintain peace at home was the secret, on the other hand, his spouse should have accepted the gambling side of the man provided that he is gambling responsibly.

Re: Proof that gambling may ruin any career when greed takes over
by

If this is actually true then he is clearly insane and I don't think gambling has anything to do with it, this is greed in display. Gambling can ruin anyone's career if they have no self control, I have seen people lose their valuable asset and reputation because of gambling and it shouldn't be that way, gambling wasn't meant to make anyone lose their minds in the game. This awful story about Malik Beasley isn't just about gambling, it's more about greed and him being a criminal/fraud and it's sad that this could make him lose a three years contract worth $45 million.

Re: gambling in prison
by
AmaGold70
on 10/07/2025, 09:15:44 UTC
have you ever been to prison? it is a tough life in there. no matter what you did or whether you were wrongly accused for something, prison is not for everyone. it is obviously lonely as you gets separated away from your family. it can get boring, not being able to do what you want.

but gambling, even tho is prohibited, is often what entertains most prisoners. there is no actual money in prison so they often exchange in other forms of currencies like food or smuggled items. even their way of gambling is smuggled. cards, dice and even information from the outside are all smuggled.

the reason why gambling is prohibited tho is because it might escalate into fights if someone for example loses and doesn't pay their debts

just shows how gambling will always exist anywhere
I haven't been in prison but I get the picture of how life is over there, gambling is highly prohibited in prison and there's a valid reason for it, some people that have freedom outside prison find it difficult sometimes to control their emotions when ever they lose a bet, so people in prison will obviously have it worst coupled with the fact that they are locked up in shared space with strangers. But regardless gambling exist in prison as that's the only way prisoners gotta entertain themselves from boredom.

Re: Your best advice regarding Cryptocurrencies
by
AmaGold70
on 09/07/2025, 23:19:22 UTC
We have always a lot to consider when it comes to cryptocurrencies, and sometimes you don't even know where to start to give newbies important advice. So: what is your best advice for cryptocurrencies?

My best advice is:

Not your Keys - not your Coins

Because storing your coins when you have your own access is always very important if you want to keep control of your coins.

So feel free to let us know what your best cryptocurrency advice is.
My best advice to newbies is to avoid shitcoins, do your research always, be informed, take Bitcoin serious and The DCA, if you want to be in the crypto currency space I suggest you do your findings properly before you start because this space isn't for the fainthearted, always double up your security game as there are scammers everywhere so you have to be on the look out. Always double check everything and be smart and vigilant.

Re: If you had infinite money, would you still gamble?
by
AmaGold70

Gambling includes plethora of games, various sports to bet on but doesn't it all boil down to money in the end? More the money involved, more the thrill.

Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

Personally, I can't see myself giving two fucks when I don't care for money in first place. Would you?
If it is possible to have infinite money I would still gamble but of course it wouldn't be to make profit but for fun and thrill of the game, (once a gambler, always a gambler) having infinite money automatically means that I don't have to worry about money to play around with, I don't have to worry about losing a few bucks in betting sites and I don't have to worry about spending the whole weekend with friends that also relax and chill while betting on sports and watching the live games. So yeah, I would still gamble.

Re: Is it due to skills or luck?
by
AmaGold70
on 09/07/2025, 22:45:34 UTC
If someone becomes successful in sports betting over the long run, would you say that’s because of luck or skill?

There’s been a debate in the forum, some believe that gambling success is purely luck, that no real skill is involved, and that it’s not something to take seriously because eventually, you’ll lose. But there are bettors who have consistently made profit and proven they can win in the long run, believe it or not.

So the question is, can we still call that luck? Or is that already skill at work?
I'd say both, skill and luck are both involved. But then I give skill an 60% because  even though it's a delicate balance between luck and skill, having skills in the game can help increase your chances of winning. A Gambler needs both to keep winning in a long run and I honestly think that as gambler these two factors (skill and luck) needs each other as they can not work separately.

Re: Is trolling legally permitted on this forum?

on 08/07/2025, 14:00:04 UTC
I have seen a lot of this user's (jvanname) thread  and it's more than just trolling as I see it, jvanname obviously has mental disorder and he should look for help, it's very annoying seeing the way he talks to people in the forum and it seems like he doesn't have a family or friends so he is probably sad and depressed.

The rule number 3 of the forum says "no trolling" and they also didn't write down the consequences for trolling hence the reason why many trolls are yet to be banned from the forum, so OP, until the ban happens I suggest you use your ignore button on him as many users have done.

Re: As an experience gambler what is your advice to newcomers
by
AmaGold70
on 08/07/2025, 08:35:52 UTC
From your experiences in gambling what are the best possible advise you would give to someone who is intending to gamble or to join gambling?  What are the best gambling markets you would advise people to join for instance (sports or casino) and if casinos what are the games you know is that easier to make winning, slot, roulette and ect.

We have talked more about gambling addiction, so let focused on other areas where we can also be happy telling someone the areas of gambling to focus and make winning.
For newcomers in gambling, it is very important to understand that gambling should be for entertainment purposes first before you even think of gaining, and you should never bet with what you can't afford to lose, never chase losses and you should always at Everytime trade with caution and responsibly. Choosing Gambling markets depends on your interest or skill, sports or casino are both good and it depends on the one you like More but I'd say that both are great though I do more of sports.

Don't gamble without any knowledge of sports or casino because you see others doing it, any newbie that have zero knowledge about sports or casino shouldn't gamble because gambling without the knowledge of what you are doing could lead to poor decision making and losses, so if you are a newbie that doesn't love sports I suggest you do that first before you start gambling.

Re: Gambling not trust worthy
by
AmaGold70
on 08/07/2025, 08:12:20 UTC
One of the things that I have seen that people should not trust is gambling because gambling is one thing that has done more harm than good by my assessment because looking at the winning percentage compared to those who lose it's worth not it because the winning percentage is two over hundreds which is charactarized by luck and chance so the next time you think about gambling know that you are going against thousands of people who are also looking for a way that they can get lucky in trying to win just like you so please gambling is not worth it don't kill yourself anymore trying to win anymore.
I honestly have to disagree with you on this entire thread OP, I'm a Gambler and I can say that it is trust worthy if you stick to the rules involved. It is boldly said by gambling ads to always gamble responsibly so I don't see any reason why I shouldn't gamble, I have gamble for fun and entertainment and I don't mind losing a few bucks that I know I can comfortably afford to lose.

You are obviously saying that gambling is not trust worthy because you have always gambled for huge profits, try gambling for fun and see the difference.

I think that we should allocate our money into 5 categories.

1. Necessary expenses. I am talking electricity bills, food, school fees (if you are studying or have children), housing, healthcare, and transportation. I believe this group is where most of our money goes because we basically can't survive without these things.

2. Emergency fund. In cases of emergency, we should be able to get some money for it. Especially in countries where healthcare is not free, we should be prepared to pay if ever we get into accidents or we get sick though hopefully it never happens but still we have to be always prepared either way.

3. Savings. Some people save up for specific things like buying a better house, a better car, getting your kid into a better school among other things. Some people may just save for the sake of having money to pull for emergencies. I think emergency money and money I want to use into building a new home should be separate.

4. Investment. Aside from our day jobs where we get most of our money to pay for our necessary expenses, we should invest in assets to make our money grow. This could be gold, real estate or cryptocurrencies.

5. Luxury. When I mean luxury, I do not actually mean it has to be expensive. But I say luxury because there are things that we do not need but still want to have or experience like traveling or eating at a good restaurant. I believe that even though we should be smart in finances this does not mean we have to completely deprive ourselves of enjoyment.
This is a great setting for every responsible adult and every young adult that want to build a future. Personally, the emergency, saving and the investment part is the same for me because why do I need to save money when I get invest it in something meaningful and make profit from it, money for emergencies should be separate I get it but money for a new house and investment money would be together, money for emergencies should also count as money to give out to our loved ones (parents, siblings, friends, strangers in need) because we don't just make money to spend it on ourselves alone. Luxury? I only do affordable luxuries.

Re: Thoughts for rest of 2025?
by

on 07/07/2025, 23:18:49 UTC
I'm beginning to think that Bitcoin's price is controlled by the economy globally, the price usually rise or fall when something huge is happening in the world or some part of the globe, however, during the first half of the year I have always said or predicted that Bitcoin's price will show a new ATH at $120/$150k on the next half of the year which has started this month July so I feel it's still too early for me to start having a second thought on my prediction as I feel that Bitcoin will do better very soon.
