Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux)

Guys is ethermine.org still one of the go to pools for ethereum mining?

I always have about 96% accepted shares and 4% stale shares .. ? Why 4%? Is that the miner fee?
What does stale mean in this relation?

I mean the weekly outcome is good but slightly below of the whattomine calculation with my "reported" hashrate from my rigs.

All rigs perfectly stable since the last restart one week ago. No disconnects, restarts, etc.

Any help or info for me?

Thanks a lot!

Guys, what are you mining now with the new possibilities of Dual Mining by Claymores Miner?

Which coins goes best? Which coins do not lower the eth mining too much?

I liked eth/sia in the past very much - Others I was not liking (eth/dcr e.g.)

Let's say my rig has right now 220 mh/s.

What would be the impact with the new coins? With Sia it was like 217 mh/s and 2170 /s for Sia. I like that really :-)

Anyone already using new algorithms etc.? Which pool? which coin? whats your single eth speed and what dual speed eth + x ?

Thanks a lot and best regards!

BLAKE2S:
-dcri 50 with no drop on ETH
RX 470 = 1300MH/s
RX 480 = 1450MH/s

So it should be possible to mine Verge in Dual Mode with Blake2s (there are 3 pools for it) without any drop in eth-mining, correct?

Does the dual mode heat up the cards more or stress them much, so the cards can break down at some point earlier? :-)

my swap file is always set to 32gb min and upto 48gb if required.

this is the 3gb limit and nothing more. on etc, eth will hit limit soon too

https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size

According to this, in 2019. I can live with that :-)
Afterwards I could mine zec, zcl, zen, nicehash etc. with my 1060 3gb rigs or just sell them ^^

ok guys it seems 3gb cards have officially stopped working on eth network.  Dag erro etc etc, the 6gb cards in the same rigs are doing fine. surprising though is that under stats its says 2.4gb used for dag.

one by one all the 3gb rigs gave up.

or am i missing something?

increase your swap size with 10 ot 20 GB

What do you mean with SWAP Size? :-/

Do you guys dual mine? If, which coin is best?

I mined dual Eth / Sia - But Sia Diff is too high now..

I tried DCR - But then my cards have too low eth-hashrate and if I change the intensity there is very low income from DCR.

What's you opinion on this?

Dual mining with current coins SIA/DCR etc is not worth anymore.

Claymore dev is working on a new set of coins for dual mining.
Not sure which ones yet and which algo but looks like is going to be soon.

Thanks for the information - I just read Devs want to cut Dual fees down to 1%.

My 1060 3gb Rig ist working fine for months now. 2.6gb vram in use.
But I am using 10.1 Miner still, Idk if that is the reason that it works.

When the card is not accessible do you get a yellow triangle sign in your device manager (if you use windows 10 e.g.)?

I hade some gtx 1070, they worked from time to time - then again they didn't.
After some reboot they worked then they didnt etc..

Replaced the card, everything fine.. :-(

Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD v10.6 (Windows)

after an hour of work, a problem appears on the rx 570 cards,

can not get curren- t temperature, error 15

reboot the system and everything is working fine

Maybe OC too high?

Every single failure I had with Claymores - Turned out = too much memory oc Wink

I really don't think, that the whales left the market.

Crypto will rise again, whales know this very well. So maybe they left for now, but sure they will buy back in and enjoy their new millions of dollars..

Most people just care about the money and trying to buy cheap coins which have potential to rise x10 and more Wink

agree, then there is no point in looking towards this coin?

Why not? I expect Sia to rise to about 0.20 cents at some point.

It's crashing real hard. Dropped 40% in a week! Maybe another 40% drop in this weekend! It's seems like it is falling down the hill. What do you think?

I don`t care about this crash.I will HODL, and if the price does under 2K, i will start buying.

This luck we don't have :-)

But I would do the same. For now I am just happy that I didn't sell anything - Just waiting for the huge bounce and increase after all of this sh--news.

It was one of the pump/dump coins by McAfee :-/
So a lot of people got scammed by faster Bots in Bittrex etc. - They lost money with this coin- Trust is gone.

Imho - I would not buy in. But that's just my feeling.

Everything will be +50% in next 10 to 15 days Smiley Smiley

Correct, that's why I am hodling.

Only "fail" was not selling high and buying back in low - But who cares!

Question is how long we will be sitting in hole.

We need first BTC to recover, after that wait some time till alts catch up BTC movement

Yes, you are right first Bitcoin price should be recovered, now again Bitcoin price is kept decreasing again. So it will take some time to regain the altcoin prices but for that, we have to hold the coin as long as possible otherwise, we will end up in a loss.

100% correct.
This whole bad news hurt a lot..china, korea, us banks, bitfinex and bitconnect,..
Sucks and my numbers look horrible.. :-/

But selling now would may be a huge loss..who knows..

Right now im -400%..... i really want believe market goes up.
Btw sia really needs more exchanges, if not binance, maybe bitfinex,kraken..and fiats in usd, krw, eur.

A lot of happening right now.

If you lost a lot, hodl is a good solution. In the past, the market rose up every time after a big loss.

at crypto
All coins that got asics price gone 10X+++ after ASICS started on their blockchain
by march price 10X that mean from 0.000003 to 0.00003+++ or 0.3$ at least in this 60 days
maybe 3$ in  august because difficulty boom after march and august patches of miners
before asics price was pump dump
now steady increase due to network difficulty
1080ti card was making 500 sia a day 2 month ago
now same card cant make 20 sia a day
u need asics now to get sia
please ppl understand the blockchain tech

3$ is not 10x from 0.03$ sir.
