Pseudonymous demeanor of Bitcoin
by
Amlloi
on 31/05/2020, 14:22:26 UTC

while using pseudonymity, one cannot be identified but can still be singled out, and that's what poses a challenge in privacy for blockchain. Let's take a look at the following challenges:

Public blockchain ledger: Since the public blockchain ledger is
available for anyone, some addresses can be grouped by their
ownership, using behavioral patterns and publicly available
information from outside blockchain sources.
Wallet address: The wallet address reuse links your transactions
together into a single profile.
IP address reuse: IP address reuse also hints to the world that a
single party, such as you or me, controls various addresses.
Combining inputs from multiple transactions: This reveals
the set of addresses you control.

Using lite clients: If you're using lite clients, not really strictly
written clients, these are effectively revealing to a third-party
your full set of addresses and whatnot.
Bitcoin addresses clustering as another famous technology stack, which poses a challenge for deanonymizing Bitcoin address users. It does so while addressing all addresses generated by a single user, via analysis of information derived from the blockchain. It can then be observed that the P2P network represents other information sources that aid in the deanonymization of Bitcoin users. Combining these two together can easily assist Bitcoin address clustering and help in
identifying individuals. In some cases, it can also help in correlating all transactions of the file user. At the same time, there are many companies in the world today that are building businesses around blockchain. As the network increases, these companies gain a lot of importance because incentives to track the flow of such capital becomes stronger.

I really love that triangle. The breakout is imminent upside towards $14k if not above it to approximately 19k$ in summer. If Bitcoin price can only breakout above 20k$ and stay there for more than 4 weeks I guess that will attract many retail investors and price will pump much higher pretty fast

Bitcoin legitimacy may be improved by the hackers who are moving to Monero
by
Amlloi
on 04/05/2020, 22:09:08 UTC

A hacking group has announced it is switching to Monero, a form of cryptocurrency that can be impossible to trace. No longer content merely to steal from ordinary people at random, the group wants to reduce its risk by hiding completely from law enforcement.

Your opinion makes so much sense in case your investment is huge and want to avoid stress. However diversity is needed , that's why invest a little bit in Bitcoin for larger returns .

Which investment is a safe haven Gold or Bitcoin?
by
Amlloi
on 29/04/2020, 21:21:29 UTC
In my opinion, I think we should not expect investors to easily consider Bitcoin as an alternative investment to high-status assets such as gold and commodities. In fact, Bitcoin still has a long way to go in order to catch gold in terms of history, price stability, and accessibility. So, a word of caution is warranted here. The status of Bitcoin in the international financial market
is far from being solved, despite the launch of the Bitcoin futures contracts by the CME and CBOE in December 2017, which added some legitimacy to Bitcoin and may ultimately help manage its price volatility.

I can see investors and traders now have strong empirical evidence that Bitcoin has some of the virtues of gold and commodities against extreme down movements in the world stock market index. However, stock investors in developed markets have no choice other than gold as a safe haven asset ( as we have seen recently during the crash of March when investors turned into gold), given that Bitcoin fails to offer such a property. Interestingly, Chinese investors can consider Bitcoin as
a safe-haven asset despite the restrictions taken by the Chinese government against Bitcoin exchanges and trading activities.

Please tell me when do you think Bitcoin will replace Gold as a safe haven and why?

I told my mom to stock up on food, she finally listened, and told me today that she bought 5 cases of beer to last a little while so she doesn't have to go to town..

Anyone else feel like getting blackout drunk?

Miners are going to be fucked!

Isn’t break even on production at about $7,000 on average?

$ 3,500 I have been told by some insider. But consider they are already battling because of the difficulty skyrocketing.

According to https://diff.cryptothis.com/ next diff adjustment will be lower.
This mean many miners already capitulated!

This is my last message about it.

you're still alive in Italy? respect!

Dude.

He just said it was his last message. Have some respect for the dead.
Do not worry, he drinks wine , he will be fine, Corona virus is just a Black swan to crash the financial system and replace paper money for digital money

Since we all witnessed the burst of the ico bubble in the last couple of months, it's a brilliant idea of the team to migrate to STOs which is gaining momentum right now and has good reputation among investors to put their savings in.
