Pakai wallet apapun tetap perlu sinkronisasi, yang menjadi pembeda dari core & electrum itu ada pada tipenya. Kalau menggunakan core, kita bertindak sebagai full node yang dimana kita diharuskan melakukan scanning mandiri dari blok awal atau genesis block sampai blok terakhir.

Sementara untuk electrum, kita bertindak sebagai SPV (Simplified Payment Verification) & ada ikut campur tangan dari pihak ketiga (server electrum). Kesimpulan sederhananya, kalau menggunakan electrum masih memerlukan sinkronisasi, tapi tidak dari blok awal & tidak memakan waktu berhari-hari seperti yang dirasakan di core.

It is not surprising to hear news like this if it comes from Asia, not to be offensive, but that is the mindset here, covering up illegal things with legal things. In our country I even heard of a gambling place that was covered with a doll shop. This has been going on for quite some time I think, there's no way no one has ever reported it. But they still have enough money to shut up a few mouths, until eventually there's a lot to shut up, but they don't have that much money. So I agree with @Plaguedeath.

It is unfortunate that this illegal act is covered up with crypto-related things, perhaps this incident will lead public opinion in South Korea that all mining is bad, because there is gambling there.

Thanks for your efforts in creating this thread, maybe for some people this thread can be useful. But actually, exploring the forum is not as difficult as having to memorize shortcut keys, just open it & start exploring, if you don't know something & want to know about it, it's as simple as creating a thread to ask other forum users about it.

Bitcoin is & will remain a good investment for the next few decades in my opinion. This asset is a safe haven, like gold. If you are someone who wants to make a quick profit, Bitcoin is not for you. Based on the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, by the end of 2025 Bitcoin's peak should be at $326,338 - $439,072. The expectations of the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart are debatable, but that's the theory.

By the way, I feel like this thread belongs in Trading Discussion, not here.

True, if we pair it with FIAT. But wrong from the perspective of Bitcoin itself, 1 Bitcoin is still 1 Bitcoin, nothing unstable there.


Bitcoin doesn't need regulation, it's all just nonsense to centralize Bitcoin.
