Keep in mind though - the only thing Bittrex has added in the past 6 weeks is Bitcoin Cash, and only because they were forced to.

Trading on very low volume at the moment, but without any significant updates from the team (as far as I know at least) this is quite a nice move of the token. Listing on a serious exchange or a nice positive update might push the token up much more still.

They did announce a week ago that they have submitted a request to get listed in Bittrex.  No updates about it since.  Perhaps went up a little too fast in the last 24 hours, which triggered some sells today.  But before that, it seemed like no one was willing to sell below market.  I'm definitely not letting go any time soon.

This is the best kept secret in crypto.

The project is sound and have a nice team, the issue for me concerning insurance industry is that the space seems crowded and the profit margin has strunk up in recent years, it will be interesting how the team goes about this one and make it a success

The insurance industry is crowded with crooked, greedy, borderline evil companies that all need to be replaced.

There hasn't been any major news on Golem development from the team for sometime, this is a concern to me, anyone with latest information about the Golem project should please share it on this forum

I know from guy from dev team brass coming this month!

I hope it gets released this month... many are expecting a lot from this project

There is no hurry since this project is for at least 3 or 4 years, surely we see golem in the highest in a few years simply have to wait for the team to work and bring updates, brass seems to be delaying but well there is no hurry if Low buy more in about 3 to 5 years golem will be worth much more I estimate that about 30 or 50 dollars, big projects are waiting

Yeah true! In 2-3 years golem will be few 10$!

It's too early to predict this since we do not have the first brass release and how people respond to this and day to day use.

Personally, the longer they take better, I have token for 3 or 4 years later I'll look at the price I do not care if it's worth 10 or 30 centimos, I know that a future I'll see it in a few dollars each, I'm not in any hurry

Good idea - invest your money in some highly volatile, new technology, that does not work yet and may never work...and then check back in 4 years.  Not like the cryto landscape changes quickly or anything.  I hope you were trying to sound pretentious.

I am not sure why people are saying there are no updates, they've been updating twitter. I guess price will continue its crash until we hear some big news. Lets see where it reaches by the weekend. cheap golem hopefully

Re-tweeting a guy standing next to a sign that says Golem in 2 weeks is not updating twitter.

Here tere is their GitHub where you can check actual Golem development so you can see that they are working on it
https://github.com/golemfactory/golem/milestones

Actually their Twitter looks pretty active with tweets now and then
https://twitter.com/golemproject

And they post update here and here too:
https://blog.golemproject.net/
https://www.facebook.com/golemproject

Project is not dead by any means, and I think that soon they will release another development video.

EDIT: I forgot to mention their Slack channel (very active) where you can register from here
http://golemproject.org:3000/

Thank you - I was not aware of most of that.  (they did just tweet and re-tweet something, but it had been a couple weeks before that just happened)

How can you have a project like this, with 50,000 investors, and go weeks without sending a tweet?  You gotta tweet stuff man....let people in!!  smh

I must say I agree.
I know we are all humans, we all need summer vacations...but guys, cmon, at least one post here, one twitt, one post on reddit,...something?!

Right - as dumb as it sounds, it does matter.  Mostly because how easy it is.  You don't need to give groundbreaking updates.  "Golem sure is exciting" -  send.  You can do it while pooping.  Golem has more token holders than any other ether token.  Lot's of little guys.  A big community.  I have nothing to back up the claim, but I guarantee your little guy token holders will be more likely to hold if you flash a quick pooping tweet now and then.  You may not care though.  Just a thought from a little guy holding 2k golems because the project sounds fascinating.  Happy sailing.

CREAMTeam,

Your masternode setup guide provides the absolute bare minimum amount of information.  I think it would benefit your cause if you elaborated on the steps and better explained what you're doing when you set one up.  Also, no mention of a VPS.  Do they need to leave their computer on 24/7?  No mention of this.   You are only marketing to computer programmers and people familiar with masternodes.  You should tailor to the novice - you need them.  More and more people getting interested in crypto, and about 1% have the knowledge necessary to run a masternode.  Help them get involved.  Just my opinion.

Of course you need to leave your computer running 24/7 regardless of whether you are running a MN or not, that's how PoS systems function.

Kind of my point - Saying "of course" - similar to the steps the MN guide assumes everyone knows (because of course they do!) - I'm just suggesting that not everyone does know.  Maybe instead of telling them to Google PoS, you could explain to them how to run a MN for you.  Since that is what you want.  But then again, this stuff may just still be for the computer people, and that's fine.  Best of luck.

I hope you didn't read my comment in a negative way, because I don't mean it that way. And I also don't work for Cream coin. I'm just suggesting it would be beneficial for you to understand how crypto systems work. The information is really easy to find and easy to understand. You don't need to be a master at programming to get it. But the resources are there for people who are willing to seek the knowledge. It's not different from anything else in life.

No not at all, appreciated your reply.  I agree the info could be out there somewhere.  But if you make a product you wouldn't tell people to go find the user's manual of your competitor's product because it's pretty similar.  It just seems silly to me to pour your blood and sweat into this thing, and then not make sure that everyone even remotely interested in contributing is provided the tools needed to do what you need them to do.

Just an opinion - I very well may be the minority.  I have 20k CRM at the moment, so I'm rooting for you.

I thought masternodes use a VPS.  Maybe not the case here.  Maybe noobs shouldn't even be here.

Good job getting on masternodes.pro!  That website is covered with advertisements for VULTR, the best VPS hosting for masternodes.

Bold move whoever controls the website and did that.  You are trying to destroy his business because of a difference in opinion?  Do you know what defamation is?  Cause I would be looking for a lawyer if I was him.

I am following this thread for multiple days now. I think I found it 3 days after launch....

Even tho I admire what the community did so far and how passionate they are, but I hear way to little from dev, especially considering he already burned a coin to the ground...

Second, you guys are really focusing on the wrong steps.

I don't have a windows and no Linux system on my computers. But even if I had, its not clear, if the wallets work 100%.

Before you really consider pumping prices, adding MN to sites and spreading the word, you should create a Mac OS X wallet and fix the existing ones.  Only if they work and its point and shoot easy to set up a wallet, load the blockchain and set up MN without comand lines you will be able to attract the masses.

And I still don't see any reason to invest in it, other that it is limited to 18m coins... And the price is also to high, I would dump you coins until it is resolved. Way to many problems during launch already

I'm tuned off as well.  My advice would be to write a MN setup guide that the average person could follow and understand.  Dev it seems to me like it would be easy to blog or tweet a random update about what you're doing every now and then.  It would ease everyone's panic and contradict the losers that go on here just to say the coin is dead or should be dumped. Best of luck.

Do you have a guide for starting a masternode using a VPS?

i have written one, need to fix format and will release then.
for now you can go to website, there is the best tutorial, there are lots of others, but many fail on delivering all details.
the guide from website should get your node up: https://www.dascrypto.com/

Thank you for response - but I don't think the website even mentions a VPS?  Am I wrong?  The windows guide is nice but that it only for running a MN through your PC...meaning you'll have to have it running 24/7.  Or am I mistaken?  Sorry, I'm a novice.

u want the linux guide

Thank you - but every word of that linux guide is written for a computer programmer.  It is nothing close to usable for a novice, which is fine.  It's likely this stuff is just not for a novice....but I would think a step-by-step guide that the average person could follow would help your cause as a whole.

No big deal, I don't need to set up a MN...I was just interested.  Thanks anyway.

Bad news. Gofundme didn't like us raising money for a cryptocurrency, they ended our campaign. All donations have been refunded.

Thank you for your shown support.

It's alright we can still do this! Some exchanges will add a coin for free if we spam them with emails asking to add the coin. It's I guess unethical but it's worth a shot?

Also IDK why everyone wants to get on bittrex... It's a good exchange but volume wise it's I think 5th or 10th place. We need to aim for BitThumb or Bitfinex!

Bittrex is one of the top exchanges for Altcoins - the top volume exchanges like Bithumb just trade massive amounts of BTC and ETH.  It's not an option for DAS.
