Re: Best crypto to buy now?

Many altcoins are low right now as we are in the bear market still. I would personally invest in some ICO projects such as PRiVCY or Staker. It's up to you. Just make sure you do some research on the team and analyze the history.

Re: How to invest in Crypto currencies without fiat.

What I sometimes do is that the coins/tokens I earn from AD's and stuff, I put them exchange them into bitcoin and thus investing in bitocin. But this requires that the project be good and of decent value. Plus you would need a lot of coins, if it's a new project to be able to get bitcoins out of it.

Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs?

With the amount of scam projects this is probably true. There is always investors of ICO's though. You can make a decent profit from these things if you know what you are doing. Also, they are more of a long-term investment so some investors might not like that.

No I haven't. I'm always super catious about new ICO projects. There are a lot of scammers out there so I make sure I know what I'm supporting.
And I usually wait till market to buy and just keep all the coins from airdrop. But I see scam projects just about daily. Too many of them.

Re: All Altcoins dump again?

There will always be people who dump. But bitcoin is going down and so is altcoins. It will be fine just hodl.
Don't fall into the temptation or the follow the crowd. A lot of times the crowd is wrong. Yeah my suggestion is to just ignore it and hold your coins for now.
I'm sure the market will recover. Just needs some time.

What exactly are you basing these "facts" on? I mean I guess some of the market is going down but that doesn't mean it's dying. It's happened before.... Simply look at some of the charts from the previous years and you will know. It's not rocket science. It's a cycle. Just relax and don't panic sell.

Good on you for promoting. For a new ICO, I think starting with small exhanges are better. The transactions fees are smaller. Getting to list in a larger exchanges is better through the community once it's large enough.

Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous!

Ofcouse it's dangerous. The market has high risks. That shouldn't stop you though. You gotta learn somehow.
Whether it was you or someone taught you, learning is the first step. And as a newbie as long as you don't spend your entire fortune in it right away you should be fine.
I recommend doing research on coins and how they work before spending money.

What if the market recovers? I think you should hold it. Some of these coins may seem like they won't get back up but they might. You never know. But if you are in need of money then yes sell them. Don't cave in top the mass just because everyone is saying to dump. The investment might turn up.

Re: encourage others to crypto
by

I will encourage others and tell them about it but I won't do it for them. I will let them play the game. There is high risk and I don't want them to come crying at my feet. I'm afraid they don't have enough patience to go through all the struggles. It's not easy when you see the market go down and you lose your money.

Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency.
by
Andrea23
on 03/08/2018, 00:34:36 UTC
There are several reasons why it's not a legit currency. For one bitcoin isn't accepted at every store you go or every online website you order stuff from. And on top of that the price fluctuates so much that if you buy say a cup of coffee for 1 bitcoin by the end of the day that coffee should have been 2 bitcoins. There isn't a set number of value of an item. It changes by the night. It's store of value is just not stable.

Re: Where do you usually get your news on current events about crypto
by
Andrea23

Just about anything that's not a news website. Thats funny. Most news sites either overexagerate or like to talk about only the bad things eg when the price of bitcoin drops. But twitter, bitcointalk and telegram is my biggest source of news.

Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky?
by
Andrea23
on 02/08/2018, 04:52:54 UTC
I would highly recommend againts it. Expand your horizon and don't put all your money into one thing. If it doesn't work out then you lose all your money. Putting it in multiple coins may have a better chance of a more profitable return. Too much risk when there is only one coin involved. Too many scam coins and projects these days so better watch out.

No. However, I do like to try new things even if it's bad. I just hope if I do, I won't get addicted to it. Quite honestly I don't think I ever will. Heck I don't even know where people get it. Unless you live in a nation/state where it's legal, it's pretty hard to get that stuff. Maybe I just grew up in a nice neighborhood and I have no knowledge of these things.

Re: The truth about bitcoin
by
Andrea23

Nothing is free in this world. My friend keeps reminding me of this. Especially when you want to be rich there is always boulders and walls in your road. That shouldn't stop you from taking that road though. Bitcoin especially has a pretty high risk going with it. Investing means to put your money in the hope of something good in return. However, it's not guaranteed. Bitcoin isn't any different. Putting your money in it has it's risks but you gotta be ready for it. Whenever I see the word "free", I always take it with a grain of salt. Don't be gullible.

Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto?
by
Andrea23
on 02/08/2018, 03:05:30 UTC
I would direct them to Bitcointalk and get some exposure. Read up on specific posts about bitcoins. Show them the trends of bitcoin and the risks involved in it. Teach them how a wallet works and how to buy crypto. By this point they might not be interested anymore so that's good. But if they are interested and buy bitcoins, tell them to be patient everytime the price drops and not be panic sellers.

Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ?
by
Andrea23
on 02/08/2018, 02:25:34 UTC
When the supermarkets have the technology to accept bitcoin as a payment. Also, when the government stops banning the use bitcoin. The acceptance rate is little to nothing. And we also need more
bitcoins. We currently do not have enough to make it a common way of payment.

Everyone has their own idea of what will happen to the prices. I think you should try to analyze the trend of Bitcoin prices before investing. However, if you are investing a decent amount of money I would be careful. The prices seem to bounce between 7.8-8.2k these couple days. It's not very stable in my opinion and I personally wouldn't invest right now.

Re: What are Bitcoins worth
by
Andrea23
on 31/07/2018, 01:17:06 UTC
Just do a quick google to find out what it's equivalent value is in your fiat currency (cash). Bitcoin is worth about 8k usd right now. You can use them for numerous things but it's limited because most places do not have the technology to accept and there is the legal issue with your government. And yes you can convert it to cash. There are bitcoin atms around.... speaking specifically for america though. So check your area out first. The atms have a fee to convert it to cash though so be aware.

Re: Why spend time in bitcoins?
by
Andrea23
on 31/07/2018, 01:09:37 UTC
I want to secure a wealthy retirement. I don't want to be that guy who suffers till the last breath of his life. I spend time in bitcoin to learn and find ways to earn money while also working in real life. Both are hard but nothing good comes out nothing.
