Try making the DNS 8.8.8.8 and/or deleting the IPv4 broadcast. I think it's the DNS server because of the ping fail.. Also make sure wifi is disabled, that one screwed with me for so long
I tried making DNS 8.8.8.8 and blank. Did work. I can connect to my miner just fine. I can't get the miner to connect to the internet to start mining. If I disable my wifi, how will I connect to the internet?
I already tried a factory reset. Didn't work.

Re: BITMAIN Antminer support and OverClocking thread
Have you tried resetting it? There should be a tiny black button on the controller card (the card you plug the network cable into). That should reset to factory default. That reset my antminer's IP after I set the internal WAN IP of my antminer to the same as it's LAN IP, and locked myself out.
That worked! Thanks!

My ethernet cable between my PC and miner is secure. The LED lights are blinking no sound though. I have an adequate PSU (750W). I've already done a factory reset and tried changing the IP address several times.

Can't connect Antminer S1 to Pool/Internet - Will tip $10 if someone resolves

I have been struggling with connecting my miner for while now. I connected to the Antminer just fine through an ethernet cable. I can't get it to connect to the internet though. I've done several factory resets, used different PCs, different internet routers/ISPs, and turned off my firewall. The person who sold it to me on eBay said they checked it before they shipped it. Any other suggestions? Here is an album with many of my settings and status: https://imgur.com/a/9EK94
If someone can help me through this, I will gladly tip them $10 worth of Bitcoin as a thank you.
Thanks!

Please Help! I have my Antminer S1 all setup now: PSU setup, IP address changed, and pool info entered. However, it doesn't seem to be mining. I think there is a connection problem. I took screenshots of everything here in this album: https://imgur.com/a/9EK94

Re: BITMAIN Antminer support and OverClocking thread
I would like to reduce the heat (and therefore the noise!).
Let's say I would like to underclock it from the standard 180 Gh/s to ~150 Gh/s. How much noise would I have to expect? And does it also have a significant reduction of power consumption?
Thanks
Yes you can, and there are settings already in the /etc/config/asic-freq file. Just comment out (add # in front of) the 3 lines that are currently loading for 350M, and remove the # from the lines for 300M, or 250M to underclock. Save the file, and reboot the Antminer.
It will lower the temperature, fan speed, watts, etc. For me it's around 25watts per 25M I lower it. Setting it to 250M makes my fan run at <2000RPM which is much quieter.
Please help! I can't connect to my Antminer S1. I'm hooked up to my 630W Rosewill power supply and everything seems to be powered up correctly (fans and lights are on). I turned off my wifi connection and configured my IP address like the tutorials told me to. When I enter the Antminer's IP address (192.168.1.99) I just get a webpage unavailable page. I've tried my Linux machine and a different Windows PC and they all get the same error. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the help!
