I think it can be very lucrative but in a world full of ICO's, you need to take better measures and choose them by harsher rules. Coins like Angel Token that are refundable and are able to invest and create wealth are the future.

The ICO launches on November 27th at 12:00, and since early investors are rewarded with such large bonuses (up to 690% for the first 1 million tokens), it really pays to invest early in this project!

Also keep in mind that it is impossibly for any ICO investor to lose more than 20% of their Ether investment until March 7th, 2018 and this is regardless of what happens to price on exchanges after the ICO is over. So there is a huge potential upside, with a very limited downside for all ICO investors.

The advice that I would give is to be ruthlessly consistent. Research and devise a strategy. It doesn't really matter what that strategy is - more that you learn to follow it - and stay with set (small) amounts. Do not trade with more and more if you have early success. Then you can see if you have the mental discipline and patience to become a good trader.
Of course, the goal is always to cut your losses and run with your profits so choose a strategy that has a chance of allowing that.

my general view on this is that China is either threatening to ban, or actually banning, all crypto-related activity, including mining. However, it's a short term play with a very specific purpose. It's in order to move the industry to a much more Government regulated position. It's hard to say 'everyone be regulated' if they have no control over the market. Suppress the market and allow people back in who are regulated. A regulated crypto economy is then an easier sell.

Hi, what do people think of SALT. Looks like it could be promising. I like their model (perhaps not their pricing) but it's a service that people will want, for sure.

I picked up an interesting article from Bloomberg. It's saying that there is a really close correlation between BTC and the price of Copper. It's in complete lock-step moving. I have looked and it has continued to trade like this since their chart, end of September. They think it is because of the amount of money that Chinese people speculate with. When they speculate they buy BTC AND Copper. Maybe it's true and maybe Copper could be a good indicator of BTC moves at the moment.

Altcoins will continue to drop with all these forks and I don't think this year we will have impressive gains on any of them, Which means it's time for researching and buying into projects you believe in. Remember how huge the surge was this January compared to December. As things look right now, I'm expecting a similar scenario.

BAT might raise back after a steep fall because they have some important updates coming. I also saw that NEO goes up and down and I think it has the potential to raise before the fork.

They might have some sort of plan that they aren't revealing yet. What comes to mind not knowing what their plans are is either: a buy in situation where people can either contribute financially or with skills (ie. engineers, doctors, builders).

I think Bitbean could be one of those coins. Apart from being "cute" and appealing to kids/female market because they purposely make it sound less tech-y with their sprouts and jellybean-like logo, it's very cheap, making it a good entry point for a market that is huge.
