It's better you don't put all your eggs in the same basket. There are some crucial security measures you must take to keep your wallet safe but it's even better to keep a few of them in different places in case of more than few bitcoins

A good point was made regarding copper. It took 3 years just to get copper approved by the ETF. In this case ETFs approval could take years for Bitcoin.

As we all know the cryptocurrencies works in a decentralized blockchain system, it is an engineered program to sort all the problems that normal transactions have. So there goes your answer to the question that, NO, there is nothing sort of institution that regulates Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

Ofcourse bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are here to stay and has the potential to do so. More and more business will also eventually start to accept payments through bitcoin.

It's true that bitcoin has some flaws. But look at the bright sides, how bitcoin has helped people. Every system has flaws but that doesn't mean it can't be good.

Every form of FIATs has gone through some form of development, with inflation and deflation. Tether is going through the same scenario of historic development of currency and it is only natural.

Currently i have invested in ethereum and trust the most. It has a great potential and Vitalik Buterin promises upgrades which are coming shortly which is a good thing for the coin.

Panic sell is always discouraged and will definitely loose money due to it. It is advised to keep patience when the coins go through rough times because eventually it will rise again.

Purchasing bitcoin through exchanges without revealing identity is a tough job to do. Popular exchanges need KYC for the validation. I can recommend using Monero or Zcash if you want the complete anonymity.
