Buying is always an option, though the current market is OTC only. There is a possibility in the future the required % amount (0.2% current supply) decreases, but unlikely. As long as you mine more than ~13 NOSO a day, you will eventually catch up.

To address this quote, Dev has stated he plans to add a built-in exchange sometime this year, but any interested exchanges are free to contact him and set up Noso on their exchange (just none have yet I think). A 3rd party exchange is not super high priority for the Dev as it is opensource so anyone is free to get it on an exchange. The discord has an OTC market right now, though.

100%. Most altcoins are just slight variants on the same idea with no ingenuity, whereas Idena presents something new and unique. Shame it hasn't been noticed by more people.

It has been released as of Dec 23, 2020. However, the fork doesn't actually activate until:

 - more than 80% of online mining nodes support the upcoming changes

- more than 66.6% of validated addresses support the upcoming changes

So the Hard fork won't actually go into effect until today (Dec 24) at a minimum, but it seems likely to happen today. It has until Dec 31st  I believe to receive enough votes to activate.

I'd like to note there is currently NO evidence these nodes all belong to one person, there are other possible explanations, such as someone hiring others to solve/make flips for a cut (unknowing about Idena as a whole), scammers, etc. We will likely get an official response on the matter soon enough. I'm personally not too worried, since it's unlikely one person actually controls all these nodes and could cause any havoc at the current stage of things.

Not to mention they are clearly not too worried about this getting noticed, since they used the same Qtrade address repeatedly.

Above the button it states "Time's up", below it saying "Raised $2,258,500". What's the deal? Did the presale already happen or what?

Actually much lower price than 1 satoshi. The price is about 0.015 DOGE asking price (bids are much lower), which is around 1/10 a satoshi.
Nobody is buying with BTC because DOGE price is 1/10 the BTC price (because its lower than a satoshi). So don't be expecting 1 satoshi+ anytime soon!

If you want to buy Electra, buy using DOGE, you'll get 10x more Electra than if you bid 1 satoshi with BTC.
