You see? What did I tell you? The closer it gets to the end the faster tokens are selling out. Tonight we'll probably get to 300 million and afterwards the last 30 mil will sell in no time. I'd be surprised if the ICO hasn't ended by tomorrow.

You know I see you have some shares of SONM and I think it might be good if you can to buy into Golem and Iex too, that's provided you feel good about these projects. These are three companies trying to succeed in relatively the same niche of the market and if you have some shares of the tokens of all three probably sooner or later you'll be in a big profit from at least one of them.

LOL YOU ARE SO SMART  Grin Grin THERE ARE NO DIVIDENDS FOR NOW , SO THEY CAN LIST IT AND WHEN-IF THEY START TO GIVE DIVIDENDS THEY REMOVE IT  Smiley

ALSO PLS TELL ME ICONOMI VALUE IS 0??  Grin Grin DIVIDENDS WILL HAVE HUGE IMPACT ON ROI ON THE LONG RUN

YOU ARE A STUPID SHIT OR YOU ARE GOLEM RLC ETC TEAM MEMBER LOL

the difference is that iconomi is a well-thought project, sonm team doesn't even know how to manage an overload of web-traffic

This is so funny! I remember ICONOMI being under the exact same criticism just 4-6 months ago and look at them now - $2 and going up. Yea, at first it was thought they were going to pay dividends and that was said to be a problem for listing them on exchanges but that didn't stop ICN from going on Kraken almost immediately after it went out. I'm pretty sure SNM won't disappoint either.

needs 2-3 days

First you can't say that for sure. Second 2-3 days is pretty fast.

Re: Do we need an ICO regulation?
by

Maybe we can have a huge escrow-like web portal which has to inspect ICOs and holds them responsible if they don't deliver what was promised. If this becomes a standard, unverified ICOs will simply get ignored by investors, and therefore everyone would want to get inspected and verified for legitimacy. A seal of approval like this if granted would attract investors and their money.

Heck such a company can even be started with an ICO itself

Edit: Oh yea cofoundit, I totally forgot Cheesy, but as far as I remember their business would mostly be to guide a company on how to make its ICO successful, not to guarantee us - the public if the said company is legitimate or a scam.

No chance whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I can see it going to $100 and even above but not in the near future. That's given that no weird surprises happen with ETH. The coin itself is basically ETH with some differences in the blockchain events, so I expect it to go up a lot, especially if it gets adopted as payment in a few places.

Come to think of it this will probably end real soon. With about 70 million tokens remaining the next 30-40 million might not be sold too fast, but once it closes or hits 300 million tokens sold the FOMO will probably make the rest go out in just a few hours.

Re: Which coins to buy before they hit the exchanges?
by

You should check out IOTA too. Dunno what but it just hits me in a weird way, half the people just outright call it a pure scam and the other claim it will be the next huge thing in crypto. Also often it's exactly the scam coins that go to the moon for some reason. Indeed it seemingly has some big novelties for example not using the classical blockchain architecture we've become used to. I'm not that sure of it myself so I threw in just a small investment in case it goes huge.

And I know it's not exactly a new coin seeing as it started in 2015, but it only recently hit an exchange.

As of now 78% of the total supply has been sold.

My guess is 24h remaining until none left

since this project has a good planning i think it will be less than 24 hours for this ICO to completed

It will likely go on for a few more days with the current pace the tokens are selling. Don't forget that people rushed to be the first to buy so they can get the bonuses. Now that 80% of all tokens are sold and the bonus is close to 0%, combined with the more expensive ETH and BTC it will go much slower. Still I'd be surprised if it goes on longer than a few days more.

ETH has Vitalik, the many support of many companies, and many successful ETH based coins. So ETH price is going up

Don't forget the probable support of Russia and Putin himself. I think it was just last month when Vitalik and Putin had an official meeting.

I bought some at $0.3 sweet

Yea I also bought in about a hundred yesterday when it hit $0.34 just for the sake of holding a bit of it. Who knows, it might turn into the next ETH and be worth a few dollars one day. I'm already having a small profit so it can't be that bad, and I figured there are worse ways to waste 40 bucks.

Personally, I'm not going to buy any more cards. Concerned the difficulty is going to exceed profitability due to my high electrical cost.

OP can I ask about your electric bill? How much do you pay for kw/h? I'm trying to make up my mind about buying a new rig myself and I'd like to know whether my prices per kw/h are fine here or I'm on the higher side.

I went ahead & created a slack group to discuss about ICOs. Smiley

Join me there: http://icoforum.herokuapp.com/

Would love your feedback to make it better. See you there!

Good thing you did, cause I don't think there was one general ICO dedicated slack channel. I'll probably be joining and expect an influx of new people. Great idea!

Re: Is Humaniq(HMQ) is dead??

I'm curious if this multi million fund coin will rise up again. HMQ is now currently worth 0.12$ each and the trading volume decrease hard. I want to know what are your thoughts on this coin?  Roll Eyes

Don't jump to conclusions. It's already recovered and at $0.22 which is way above ICO price as far as I remember. It's not just another shitcoin so whenever it falls down so low the availability of cheap HMQ will likely always be bought up quickly, so I doubt it will die for real.

Re: Where to store ICO tokens?
by
ApexEvo
on 09/06/2017, 16:38:20 UTC
So where can I store ICO tokens that are built on Ethereum ERC20 Tokens

I know of Myetherwallet but its confusing to me.

I know you can send the ErC20 tokens to any Ether wallet, but where would i see the breakdown of how many I have in a wallet?

For beginners myetherwalet is more than enough. Bear in mind that your wallet is not actually on their site, their website is just a gateway through which you create a wallet. Therefore you can do the safest thing and use it as a cold storage paper wallet.

I think Ledger Nano-S can hold ETH based tokens, but that's only if you're looking for something more advanced.

You can also try forming or joining a group that handles such operations. Never dived too much into it myself, but I imagine you could minimize your investment this way, as more people will be chipping in to the funds you'll be pumping with. Like people said it's dangerous to go all in on your own into this.

Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'?
by
ApexEvo
on 08/06/2017, 06:42:02 UTC
This is a self regulating market built mostly on speculation. People are mostly here for these speculations and looking for new ways to grab each other's money. Think of it as an ongoing battle with constant reinforcements coming in in the form of new money and new battlefields opening up all the time in the form of new coins. That said, I don't think there is such a thing as "enough cryptocurrencies".

Well if they spot a decline in visitors and trading I'm pretty sure the trollbox will make a return. I can't seem to understand why did they close it down. Was it so important to them to save a bit of money from paying admins to monitor it? Or maybe it was too much for them when there's an issue with the site and people would openly discuss it there in real time.

Most of the time to buy a new one, with the latest GPUs available. I don't see much point either, but from my experience that's the most common reason. I'm pretty sure Chinese cloud mining companies would disagree with such a business model.

Typical Polo. And just when SIA gained another large pump. I sense some scam in the making my friend.

How long has your ticket been unanswered? Even they usually respond within 24 hours.

Re: Why do most people consider most ICOs or Altcoins as scams
by
ApexEvo
on 06/06/2017, 23:39:56 UTC
I think many times people simply don't understand that ICO tokens/coins aren't necessarily the next BTC, they are just a way to crowd fund some project and then have your tokens bought back by the company or whatever with the profits they make while having the token price grow at the same time. Like these guys who wanted to reopen some power plant in Russia and did an ICO for that, I can't remember who they were.

Also there's something inherently wrong according to most people here in a coin that has a large premine percentage. ICO coins are essentially 100% premine.
