Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH
by
ArabianStars
on 02/05/2018, 01:34:01 UTC
Many of ICOs allocate some of the tokens to participants in bounty campaigns. Don't you think it is better to give bounty participnats reward in ETH?
1-2% of the money raised is not so much and bounty participants deserve that. Also, it can cause more investors to attract. Because they are no longer worry about the price fall after bounties are paid.

There are a lot of bounty hunters who are struggling on selling their tokens because it was dumping after the end of campaign since everyone is selling their coin immediately, well i hope that in the future they will be paying their participants an ethereum immediately.

I'm confused, will paying them bounty hunters in ETH don't have any impact in the ICO project or the coin afterwards?
Cause sending them the tokens will in a way promote the project and the coin.
Anyway, it is then becoming of a trend when some hunters receive their tokens they dump it afterwards. They should learn to hold it and see more profits after a while.

Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
If you can invest in both coins, way better. if not, you can pick either of the two, both are exceptionally great coins. Investing in it is a sure shot and will yield good profits in long term. In our country, ETH have now been listed alongside BTC. It is a good indication actually of an adoption.
Best of luck.

Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank?
by
ArabianStars
on 02/05/2018, 01:20:52 UTC
Honestly OP, your posting way to many paragraphs in this thread, I bet only a few have read it to the end. Others may just be posting a comment to answer the topic subject. Better post a query with minimal words or lines not a long one.
Anyway, as been posted by purplefinder in a post by Gemcrypto below regarding crytoscared people, it is one of the few honest opinion about fiat we are using. Those fiat don't really have the paper money to support or back their issued checks, this is their way to usher in more investors but they don't really have the cap.
Having said that, in that lens it is then safer to invest in crypto rather than in banks. But we should be aware that there are pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, crypos also have theirs.
Only that banks have been institutionalized, and cryptos are not. Hence, the more trust in banks.

Re: HONEST bounty hunters should be treated with respect
by
ArabianStars
on 02/05/2018, 01:11:15 UTC
With cryptos at such a nascent stage, it is rife with uncertainty and volatility. The same holds true for bounties, we either need to do proper research before participation, or accept our mistake, because no one is going to hold out a platter as we stand petulant! There is a definite need of education and maturity for better awareness in each one of us.

Well said brother, it's almost as if I'm reading a poem.  Grin
Jokes aside, yes we have our fair share for not receiving any bounties, much like we have been deceived but we are partly to blame. No one will become a deceiver if none is deceived (like a poem   Wink ). We should do our part in researching making sure that the project is good.
But of course, we hunters should be treated with respect and as part integral to the project.

Re: Do you like airdrops?

There are a lot of uncertainties with regards to airdrops due to a lot of useless, senseless, and scam airdrop projects before and even now.
But let us not generalize them all as there are also many others that are particularly great.
I have recently joined in two airdrops and the results were well and good.
And am looking forward to joining them good projects in the future.

Re: KYC to receive bounty rewards.
by
ArabianStars
on 02/05/2018, 00:55:36 UTC
I don't like it as a most of us. But we need to see the whole picture before making some loud statements. We need regulation for ICOs. And most ICOs are securities. Yes, they trying to avoid this but most regulators think about it like securities. And we have to face it, deal with it. ICOs are risky, a lot of scam etc. With KYC we will have more fair distribution as well as more chances to have more institutional money inside. Which would be pretty good for the whole future crypto economy.
KYC will reveal your real identity. I don't think that to be required in bounty participants to claim the rewards. It can be useful only to those who invest in the ICO for the security. It will be hard for the participants to claim if ever because not all has a valid ID to be use. Like the minors who able to join in the bounty.

Invest your money and has been rewarded for it or invest your skills and also being rewarded for it. Either way identification would be good to prevent botnets from bounties. Just watch what is going on with twitter/facebook bounties. Most of them are dead already because some jackass did 10-30 accounts and automated it. It nearly useless for the company and also bad for other participants. Identity is the key to prevent it.

While I agree that this is a great way to prevent botnets from participating in bounties and defeats the purpose of campaing, I also have a little problem when it comes revealing identity. I don't really agree that bounty hunters should participate in KYC, since they are those that promote the project and the system already has mechanism to prevent botnets from functioning.

But really, I understand what you mean and I support you against botnets. But only where it is appropriate.

Bounty manager is important for me. And if the project had successful pre-sale before the campaign that would be good option for me.
I also often check pre-sales projects before the campaign, and I also often check the team, web, managers. so that the project that I follow does not fail.

Yes I agree, bounty manager is one of the indicators of a good ICO project. Equally important is the dev team behind it, check for their track records. Check visibility of the project in social media, a project that has nothing to hide is great project.

I browsed thru your article and it was great and nicely done. Yes, I concur with most comments that this is a great read for newbies to get acquainted with terms and terminologies about crypto.
You nailed it for newbies, and I greatly appreciate you for it, we all know that writing is no easy task. But it will get better over time.
Overall that was a great read.

Re: Have you been scammed? or almost?
by
ArabianStars
on 25/04/2018, 07:51:44 UTC
I got scammed once, then almost in the second time.
The first one is when suddenly the ICO I participated in asked us to send 0.1ETH to them as part of KYC, right then I knew I've been scammed.
The second one when scammers set up fake accounts and goad me to send ETH to him, it's a good thing that admin was quick to respond in my inquiry.
That all was quite disappointing.

Re: The End Of The Bounty.
by
ArabianStars
on 24/04/2018, 05:19:08 UTC
It is way too early to say that bounty will end in two or three years time, even five is tad too early. ICOs will still continue to exist as there are even more people or groups that show interest in cryptocurrency, hence, people will invest. And so long as ICO's exist promotion program will follow, and o will bounty hunting.
If and when ICOs stop promoting, or promotion program cease to exist, then so will bounty. But for now, I think it will for the 10 years.

Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world.
by
ArabianStars
on 24/04/2018, 04:06:09 UTC

This chart is very funny, that is a perfect example of a bubble.  Grin
There really is no "get rich real fast" in any platform or marketing space. Everything that are earned needs to be cooked well and it takes time.
Hard earned money are always acquired earnestly.

Hilarious and ridiculous! I did not quite imagine how funny a bubble might be, and I just enjoyed it now.  Grin
There really is no shortcut in everything, mostly in particular, getting filthy rich. Earnings should be hard earned, otherwise, you might want to rethink what this thing you have gotten yourself into.
It is as clear as day, the scam of it all.

Re: Ripple will overtake Bitcoin in the near future
by
ArabianStars
on 21/04/2018, 04:51:28 UTC
Trust me, no matter what it is, XRP will never come to what BTC is presently fo the fact that this is a nightmar which is not even close to dream🙇‍♀️. Let’s be realistic, your analysis is nice but base on the real and applied fact, BTC remain the master of Crypto. XRP would learn

I believe the same. None of them will overtake bitcoin, if it does it would just then be a bubble that waits to pop and then gone. With no traces.
Yeah charts may show performances and will point which is ahead and which is not, but it doesn't reflect anything of an indication that it can overtake bitcoin.

If they are kicking anyone and all who complains in the telegram channel, it shows they are not open minded and unprofessional.
These are the traits of those who are trying hide something from those they can cheat upon.
I experienced the same thing with FIANCIA and they have same indications, kicking people out when they complain, and they are scam!

Re: Bounty or Airdrop?
by
ArabianStars
on 20/04/2018, 08:50:30 UTC
Airdrop is the easiest way to earn coins, with the minimal time spent and minimal tasks required. I would say it is the best way to earn considering effort exerted. But earnings is comparatively low to bounty campaigns.
However, bounty campaign earnings are also dependent on the number of participants.

Re: How can i exchange my tokens from bounty campaign into Eth
by
ArabianStars
on 20/04/2018, 07:48:10 UTC
Hi guys , i'm just asking how do you exchange your tokens from bounty campaigns to Eth. What token exchange is the best?
Your question is very broad and the answer is this simple. You can exchange your altcoins that you got from the bounty on the exchange that the bounty is listed. In short the ico or the bounty will be the one to decide where to exchange your altcoin into eth or bitcoin and from their the process will be very simple, you will sell your altcoins it is your choice how much or how many.

Yes it is a little broad and not specific. Can only give a generalized answer to your query, like exchanging your altcoins on an exchange platform where the bounty is listed. Most of the bounties pay tokens that are derivatives of ETH, so you may want to go in exchange platforms that utilizes ETH and process would be simple from there.

Re: Is it worth to join airdrop?
by
ArabianStars
on 19/04/2018, 15:23:10 UTC
Depends on the airdrop of course, I've heard some of them don't even give the coins.

But if it's an actually good airdrop, then yeah go for it.

Yep, all projects (bounty or airdrop) are potentially good. But on the same manner, all are potentially bad.
So be extra careful in which project to participate and spend time on.
Lately I have joined in two (2) airdrops and they are managed by trustworthy and proven managers backed by excellent dev team.
And I find it worthwhile and beneficial at the same time. It was a wise decision to join in those projects.

Re: Patience is the key
by
ArabianStars
on 13/04/2018, 16:07:19 UTC
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Totally agree with you there cap. No argue with that, with patience we can hold our coins even though market is in dip bottom and still digs.
But the real question would be how to keep an open mind about it and maintain our patience?
I have been in situations that would really challenge my patience and urges me to sell coins in panic. So what I did was simple, I just don't look at charts anymore (only if I wish to buy) so my patience will not be challenged.
Hope it works all for you.

Re: Is doing Airdrop worth it?
by
ArabianStars
on 13/04/2018, 15:46:44 UTC
People asking same thing again and again. Why don't you search the forum?
Anyway, here is a simple answer, use your brain and it could be worthwhile otherwise don't waste your time.

Yep they do ask over and over again. They just duplicated topics posted by other members of this forum.
But please we should be welcoming to newcomers, despite the fact that it is annoying sometimes. Grin

To answer your query OP, yes it is worthwhile to participate in airdrops. You gain rewards in return for a minimal task. Although it is not as big as regular bounties, but it's compensations is just. Just be careful though, there are a lot of predatory projects put there and may not pay you your due.
Good luck

I think it still is too early to say that were going now to the moon. Corrections are yet to be in place and we'll see what pattern ETH and BTC will exhibit by then. But obviously and inarguably, things are looking good with the big guns.
Let us all hope for the best though

Re: Invest now or wait?
by
ArabianStars
on 13/04/2018, 15:11:43 UTC
as I have already written: every week a small amount of money to invest in a good Token or Coin  and in 3 years you have a lot of money. I started with eth in 2016 ($ 2.18) and then tokens every week. It has always been worthwhile to this day

Good for you buddy. You started early and now it gets you to new heights and all. However, for us that have just joined very recently are in doubt whether we can get similar profits or not. Prices now are skyscrapers high and investing may prove unwise.
However, I believe that cryptos could go a long way and so I chose to invest now.
