I don't see your name in Second chances.

Only three members got second chances in the list.

He may not have made an update on that yet and i dont think am the only one to get unbanned after the first three set.

If you got the chance, you don't even need to create this thread. Learn, make good posts, contribute to the community and don't repeat your plagiarism. It is enough to show your changes to a better way.

thanks for your kind words and advise, well noted.

Miners can use Non Custodial Wallet for Mining Rewards with Bitcoin Lightning
by
ArikeTobi
on 16/02/2024, 06:14:52 UTC
One of the unique advantage with the use of a lightning network is the speed it provides in having transactions done fast and this has brought us into seing what the Titan Mining has for the miners this time.

https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-miners-to-get-instant-non-custodial-rewards-via-lightning-network/

An offer was made by a non custodial Bitcoin Mining Pool otherwise known as Titan Lightning, which are committed in giving bitcoin miners a direct access to claiming their mining rewards with the use of a non custodial wallet, instead of a total dependency they used to have on a custodial mining pool which causes delay before their rewards are being received after every successful block mined as disclosed by the Titan Lightning.

https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-miners-to-get-instant-non-custodial-rewards-via-lightning-network/

They go further in explaining that this will be a general approach they are using to benefit any miner across the world with the use of Titan Lightning, this will help them have more quick  access to their block rewards than when they are getting it from a different means which is under custodial, though they also made mention of their collaboration efforts with Lumerin Hashrate to further increase the service satisfaction of the miners in preparation for this coming halving.

OP i must say that you have tried in your own capacity in bringing a tutorial guide on how to buy bitcoin from the mentioned exchange, but i don't really think there's much explanations in details to how someone would have understand your points clearer when the information given were not in details, no graphical illustration and you make it appears as if you're talking to those that were already using it, you could do more better the next time, though i don't see exchange as something big or too difficult to use.

Its is through our decision making that we go through what we desire in the financial economy, we are quite well aware that a lot of people are struggling with the financial economy due to impeding inflation rate and the only means not to be affected is by getting our self the best alternative currency that could not suffer the injury other people are having currently with fiat, bitcoin can offer you the very best of choice in a decentralized  p2p network, all it takes is to understand how and learn the means to enjoy the benefits in bitcoin adoption over fiat.

Re: Impersonation of my wallet address.

I have some sort of questions for you concerning this.

1. Do you ever for once have anything to do together with the user, agbamoni?
2. Have you tried to contact him on such to know maybe it was a mistake or intentional?

To me, I see that you're doing the right thing here to report the case and archive it here in case of future, so as not to make it feels you're the same user, however, you also need to always keep to privacy of your account, wallet address and sharing of devices with others, am not suggesting this may be the cause, but just some security measures.

For now, all I can smell is the move to $52,000 and I don't know if someone is seing same with me, bitcoin is becoming more stronger in raising resistance over the bear market and it's more positive to see that this is getting more excitements even before the halving begins,  we are experiencing the first part of it which will serves as an intro.

You wanted to be mentored yet you're giving some conditions to your mentor to meet up with, I want to believe even your prospective mentor will not lay down as many as these for an offer on mentorship, seems you're not getting the much understanding on what you're going for, this is risk taking to go for artibitrage trade and I don't think it's a good idea for you having no experience then going for it.

I want to know your opinion:
  • Do you think Bitcoin has any chance of catching up and then surpassing Gold in capitalization?
  • If so, when in the future might that event take place?
  • If this happens, will it be a good thing for Bitcoin?

The people will soon realized the difference between a centralized asset and a decentralized one, this is one of the advantage one that can get with Bitcoin adoption, you don't need permission or access from any central authority to be able to invest and hold bitcoin as you can have with gold, the reason that gold is being centralized alone will convince people not to make an investment in gold as the stand to understand the difference privacy, rate, interest and security measures required for gold and which is nothing to bother with bitcoin investment.

Many individuals who store their funds on cryptocurrency exchanges without any immediate plans to use them are often newbies to the industry who haven't grasped the essential concepts before diving into Bitcoin investment. Among these crucial concepts, privacy stands out as a fundamental principle to understand prior to investing in Bitcoin. Without a solid understanding of privacy measures, it's difficult to ensure the security of one's funds.

Any bitcoiner who is inexperience in any related field with the use of bitcoin could fall a victim, we just have the higher rate on this with the newbies, other members that are not been careful can be a victim of anything they lest expected to come after them in this crypto world, therefore, there's need for us to always stayed informed and never get relented of every efforts of being updated on the current scam techniques and hacks, we are the first custodial to our assets.

Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc
by

1. Do not engage in deep conversation with stranger who is only interested asking you about your total bitcoin holding or even regularly asking you about the platform you invested.

Dont even engage having a short one with them, the more you give a listening hear the more they begin to detect your area of weakness to know where they can strike.

2. Do not be fooled with their sweet words where they keeps asking you to invest and make money your interest within 24hrs to gain about 100 percent of your investment. Note; this is purely scam otherwise no other investment platform or anyone to be trading and giving you back 100 percent of your capitals.

If you're not greedy, you wont be enticed by anything you see from online, most of these flashy things are harm in disguise, its important to first deal with your ability of not been contempted.

Re: The Hot Wallet dilemma
by
ArikeTobi
on 13/02/2024, 10:30:21 UTC
If Hot Wallet developers already have access to users' databases, they certainly know what each person's private key is. So, what is the security of a Hot Wallet?

There is no security in using hot wallet because they are custodial wallets, you don't have access to the wallet private keys, you don't have your privacy and the exchange or mobile wallet could be hacked and you cannot recover your bitcoin back since you're not having any private key details with you, lastly, not your keys not your coins.

Advise,

If you're interested in using hot wallet, there's more danger in it than when you're using a non custodial wallet, you can only use hot wallet for a short time trading or exchange of currencies, but as for your storage of asset, its not a safe zone for use.

Re: Have you met this kind of investors?
by
ArikeTobi
on 09/02/2024, 21:33:46 UTC
do you have the opinion that lone investors who are not members of any kind of forum or community about bitcoins or cryptocurrency can still be very successful investors?

Bitcoin is not about belonging to a community or clique, that has nothing to do with your understanding of how the network operates, if you are the type that can learn fast by reading and making research and also have interest in your privacy, then you can choose to go alone, but if you think your the type that like being amidst people before learning could be achieved, then know what you're doing and don't get carried away, bitcoin is aimed at everyone as far as you're giving for learning about how it works.

Re: Limitations or scalability issues with the Bitcoin network
by
ArikeTobi
on 09/02/2024, 21:27:47 UTC
One of the main challenges is the transaction processing capacity. Currently, the Bitcoin network can handle a limited number of transactions per second

But isn't it now some way better than it was back then, i don't think scalability should be a thing of problem anymore like before when theres bitcoin lightning network that deals and handles such, in case you don't know.

This limitation has led to the development of solutions like the Lightning Network, which aims to improve scalability by enabling faster and cheaper off-chain transactions.

you're just taking yourself a bit backward on what has already been dealt with, almost eevryone knows about this, then why bringing it up again, thortology?.

Another challenge is the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining.

Bitcoin is not environmentally unfriendly on us, read more from this.

Re: Are newbies afraid to comment on threads of highly ranked members?
by
ArikeTobi
on 08/02/2024, 22:18:51 UTC
In fact, due to our lack of knowledge, many times we cannot participate in discussions . It appears to be discussing a topic I don't know much about . I think one should go there and just read a bit and gain knowledge but not participate in the discussions . If the conversation is about something I know about, or if I don't know, I want to know, then it's possible to join the conversation .

Perfect, its was well said, not everything you see you rush into, we cannot know everything or be everywhere, we must only maintain where we think we can deliver the best expected of us, that is why if you think you have less idea on a thread, read and learn more about such and you don't have to comment, there are more many other ones awaiting your quality contributions if you know about the subject matter.

Why not come out straight and be plain in this your idea, you are having a real estate business model, want to introduce token into it, was it for an adoption or to be received in making payment for your business or rather you're having another agenda beyond what every other user commenting does not sees.

Job security has to be considered too when someone has finally decide to start his bitcoin investment journey. One has to be certain that your job has to be really secured, and not a kind of job that won't last long. Job security should not be underestimated because if you have chosen to invest through DCA make sure that your job or source of income isn't something that's going to be terminated on a short run.
yes one can actually loss his job, that is life full of uncertainty, but at most time it is advisable to have passive income streams which one  of it's enormous benefits is that it reduces the fear of job loss. It will become more easier for an individual to reach his financial goals when having a multiple streams of income by achieving them much quicker than if there was just one job, it helps in ensuring that you have a consistent and reliable source of income and at same time giving you that emotional rest needed to manage your asset properly.

In everything that we do in life, we should always have a backup to them, this will prevent us from suffering huge loss on them under any circumstances unforeseen to us, Ive seen someone having his job and still making bitcoin investment by trading partly, when he lost his job, then he fully have enough time to engage into trading in full, there's no much vacuum created as a result of loosing his job.

The security of our assets should also matters to us in a very big way, we cannot afford making silly mistakes with our investment funds when we are just thinking only in one direction.

Re: Why are credit unions so much safer than banks?
by

on 08/02/2024, 21:55:54 UTC

Why are the big banks so corrupt and incompetent?

And why do we think that the small credit unions as you called them aren't corrupt also as the financial banks, is it because they often take it slow and steady on us regarding kyc or because the are more user friendly to us than the complex financial institutions, most of these fintechs, money creditors and borrowers we are seeing charges more than the big coperate financial institutions bill on us, but we we seems to be more focused on one side forgetting to relate them together with each other to know which pays.

Re: compressed and uncompressed addresses
by
ArikeTobi
on 04/02/2024, 21:48:01 UTC
I've recently discovered that Bitcoin addresses come in two types:- compressed and uncompressed addresses. But then how can we identify compressed and uncompressed addresses? Why do we have the two formats? Is there a possibility that there may be a new format in the future and is there an advantage to using one over the other?

The private keys are the main source to this, in most cases, compressed addresses are more smaller than the uncompressed addresses.
