I was already on board with the XBY concept, but never understood how PoSign or PULSE or VITALS interacted and what they were, exactly. This post broke it down pretty nicely... its all starting to come together, now.

Xcellent job. Full steam ahead!

Interesting situation developing right now, though.

I see there are a lot of sell orders stacking in ED.

Scoured the relevant info to see if there was anything fishy / scammy going on - but there isn't anything weird as far as I can tell apart from the price action!  Shocked

Looks like there's an AMA announced for the 19th: https://medium.com/@dragonchain/dragonchain-goes-subreddit-b7e2509b00d2

But thats awesome news! I'm not sure if its the ETH price hike thats effecting it, but even still - it feels like the market is over-reacting if that is the catalyst.

There shouldn't be any FUD about this project as far as I can tell. Everything points to a tremendous success (with 5 partners lined up already). I cant see why theres no buying support ATM. I realize there was a price hike a week ago - which can be wary in of itself for sure, so maybe a price correction is going on.

Jeeze, I guess I'm just a little disappointed in the dumps today beings is I picked up some at .0079 ETH "knowing" it was a great price!

Anyways, best of luck to everyone! I don't hope we all become rich - just that we all are happy!

Re: [ANN] Interstellar Holdings (HOLD) POS/POW COIN WITH PURPOSE! SCRYPT/HIGH APR

Hey, is there a reason the price is on the down for HOLD? Will the change in stake reward likely increase the value?

Perhaps over time. The general consensus is that people are going to sell off their 5000% earnings before the switch (which isnt unreasonable - just as selling BTC before 10k issnt unreasonable.) But, in the long run the lower price means the HOLD team can buy more tokens to burn.

So, it really just depends if you have the patience or fortitude to hold out until then.

That being said, I suspect it may be an extended period before the team is able to recoup from mistakes like koinbi, though. Considering their primary objective is to reinvest HOLD profits - it doesnt make sense to risk that investment on a new exchange - when they, theoretically, can do whatever they want with the cash.

/SHRUG.

IDK if the price will go down or up in the near future, but if youve already invested a lot of capital and lost most of it - I would recommend keeping it staked and riding it out. For the simple fact that losing 80% and leaving early is worse than waiting for months to see if it recovers (especially with a coin that stakes). Look at it like you can only lose 20% - but the upward potential is essentially potentially infinite.

So what is everyons opinion on the current situation in GRX?

As far as I can tell it seems to be bottoming out, but I haven't been in the Telegram or anything to see if there has been news or anything. Twitter is quiet. FB is quiet.

I see there was a fiasco with Coinexchange, but not sure if thats been resolved.

Re: [ANN] COBINHOOD - ZERO Trading Fee Cryptocurrency Exchange

During the ico it was explained that we as investors will have the opportubity to invest in icos at a lower cost. For cmt this is not the case and we are receiving a small percentage of cmt as an airdrop. I prefer this method as it acts as a dividend and i see more value in cob if they continue this approach. My question is will they continue this approach or will they revert back to what was discussed during the ico?

There was never any mention of Airdrops before Cybermiles as far as I have seen. CM Being their first endorsement (underwrite) - which was done for free (which, ofc they cant do every time). So, I'd presume its likely that CM had given CH tokens as a means to gather steam for both projects.

Its a low-cost win-win bootstrap for both companies. Smart stuff!

If you run a zero trading fee cryptocurrency exchange how are you going to fund further development, security measures and generally operational costs?

1. ICO underwriting - Cobinhood takes 5% or some jive like that.
2. Margin loans - up to 10x margin loan accumulate interest.
2.5. Cob gets 50% of loaned token profit.
3. Listing fees (Albeit, this isn't a continuous stream)

However, the funding itself is allocated in the token distribution. Whatever it says in the WP as the % to fund the development etc. However, it was said that Cobinhood didn't necessarily need the cash to launch the project, but the ICO was necessary as part of Cobinhoods' implementation. I'm paraphrasing here, but I believe that is the gist.

There's no doubt that the reality of gaining and losing has an effect on the attitude of the average person.

I mean, considering you have the potential to make 50-100% every few days with a couple hours of research and proper timing - the potential, and therefore the merit of seriousness has actual cognitive weight, imo. Justifiably so, I would say.

Not to say that it shouldnt be seen as a game - but at the same time - what isnt, ya know?
