Getting close to March, crossing my fingers for an announcement.

No doubt it has been asked before, but would the hashrate of the initial/'benchmarking' gen3 chips even be noticeable?
(by this I mean the sample chips that Friedcat and his team first get back from the factory to test)

Its bullshit you try and push what you use on other people, forcibly.

I asked the bar staff if they would like the tip in mBTC.

The emphasis is my own.  I happen to think that it is pretty neat that they were so interested.  Though this probably won't make them hardcore "converts", it'll certainly get the word out Tongue.

With regards to Armoury:

I haven't; it's supposed to be super secure but it seems complicated.

Not sure what could seem complicated about it, the recent versions are pretty simple.  I switched over to Armoury from QT a while ago, haven't looked back.  Armoury is marginally easier to use than QT, and has some really helpful features like paper wallet backups.  With these you may print out or write down information that will let you restore all of the address (and the private keys, which let you use coins in these addresses) in your wallet(s).

I think I've got #1 and 2, but 3 is really throwing me:

Do we need to worry about zero-indexing with the poem?
Is there some sort of targeted search needed for the user?

Fun puzzles so far!

Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread

I will put it extremely simple for you. The gold rush is over. No longer will AM be able to make shitloads from selling shovels because there is already a massive surplus of shovels. Now it will come down to the most efficient large scale mining operations.

The only reason AM made so much money was the gold rush, a massive influx of people thinking they would be getting rich by buying hardware that they thought would reach ROI in 15 days. This scenario will never happen again.
I completely agree.  That's why AM is moving towards enterprise solutions.  They're setting up to sell fleets of bulldozers, while everyone is focused on shovels.

Smiled at the metaphor.
Fingers crossed.

Seems a few days without bitcointalk did the pass-through share price some good.  I'd speculate that the less idle speculation, the better Tongue
Still glad to see the forum back though.

Each time I tried logging in today I get sent right back to the main login page with the user/password fields blanked out. I don't know if the site is rejecting my login, or if it is a temporary bug.

I've been having the same problem today, hoping its just a temporary bug.

Out of curiosity, are Eric M. and myself the only Canadian AM shareholders here? I know we have more lurking in the shadows!

You can add me to the list of lurking Canadian shareholders.  Wednesday is no longer hump day; it's climax day!  Shocked

We're in Vancouver.   :-)

Alberta!!! RD And thriving after all that flooding
If I knew their were that many Canadians here would have said Happy Canada day in the thread  Grin

Another Vancouverite who loves Wednesdays.

All those Canadians. Am I the only Dutch shareholder? Roll Eyes

Dutch Canadian who loves Wednesdays in Vancouver Cool

(only 50% by blood/heritage)

Another Vancouverite! Though I'm more of a Friday person (BF PT) Tongue

Thanks!

The quicklinks banner looks good, a little cramped but I guess there isn't much room to play around with up there.
