I did ask for help and was assisted soon there after via email.  While she's been very helpful, I question one thing she's asked me to do to verify my info.  She wants me to remove my adblocker and antivirus software to for it to work.  Is that normal? I'm not really comfortable with running my computer without ad-blockers and definitely not without anti-virus.  Is turning off that software just for the verification process or for the life of the Xapo wallet?  This advise seems a tad fishy to me.  Can any techies speak to the veracity of this advice?

After posting the above message, I went ahead and started an account with Xapo.  The wallet set up fine, but I had trouble verifying where I live.  It didn't seem to accept my City, State, Country answer.  Sent an email to support from Metaminder.....  Could someone please look into this for me?  I really want to try those faucets.

While it's not as convenient as a debit card, you may want to check this out.  https://www.gyft.com/bitcoin/   Gyft sells you gift cards to various stores for Bitcoin.

If you are using a bad/poor client, I suggest you not to reuse addresses. Reusing addresses when using a bad/poor client will put you in danger as it exposes reused R values which will make a person easy to find your private key.

OK.  That's helpful.  To what amount would you let your bit-x wallet fill up before you "poured" it into blockchain wallet and started with a clean bit-x wallet? 

In my research, I discovered this "Gyft" site.  Gives you usable gyft cards to well known places for Bitcoin.  This could come in handy.

I'm researching wallets as well.  One thing I am hearing from some of you is to store small amounts in some sort of mobile wallet and larger savings in an offline more secure wallet.

So might a good practice with Bitcoin be to collect it in a mobile/online wallet up to say 1 bitcoin?  After it reaches a bitcoin, move it offline to the more secure wallet and start collecting again with the mobile wallet? 

I just received something like this an hour ago.  I was surfing Ebay and laughed when I saw PimpCash.  Having to see if it was real, I went to pimpcash.com. Immediately something like what you showed came up.  However, for me, it pretended to be my service provider and gave me a number to call.  I confess I did try to call but the ring didn't sound right.  Sounded like an old telephone.  I hung up and rebooted my computer.  Things seem to be ok now.  I ran a quick scan and all seems to be okay.  Is there anything else I should do to check to see if my computer is okay?
