I love the D because of uhm... personal reasons.  

Seriously though, the biggest factor for why I like Doge so far is the community (especially the portion on reddit and twitter). I think part of the reason we're seeing it continue to go to the moon is because it does have such a strong, savvy, and vocal community of spectacular shibies.

It sound promising. At least it sounds like they'll have their ducks in a row before releasing it into the wild and suffering setbacks or the awkwardness of a re-launch due to unforeseen complications like less diligent altcoins we've seen recently.

Like any other new coin, only time will tell how smart of an investment smartcoins may or may not be.
