Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements

Thanks to this new rule, I got demoted to Newbie. And to say the least i am truly devastated about this. I do not see myself a "shitposter", if i may say. I do research everytime i replied for a topic for it to appear as constructive as it should be. I do my job seriously because i consider this as my bread and butter. All the tokens that rewarded to me here were intended for the school needs of my daughter being a single parent.
Can i still be rewarded the tokens intended for my then Jr. Member rank from the signature campaign i've participated? I do need some advise on this, please.

I checked your post history and I didn't see "research". You're posting generic phrases in meaningless megathreads. If this is your job you should consider a career change.

You may get your signature payment but you need to talk to your campaign manager. This thread is not the place for that.

Thank you sir for your criticism although i find it very much subjective. In spite of that as long as i do not step on others toes, i am confidently fine with my postings. You, sir, is not in a position to tell me to change career because this is for my beloved daughters benefits. I am already of age nonetheless i still plan on giving her the best there is, with the help of this forum, hopefully. And i do not intend for her to suffer just because of someone's recommendation. I guess you sir were lucky enough to have joined this forum way back when there were no rules such as this.
About my signature payment, i am just kindly asking for some suggestions on what to do. A simple yes or no, from you would have been suffice enough.

My first account was banned by this individual. It was a Full Member rank by then. He accused me of copy paste. To think na it was my post that someone copied, based on date and time. Nag e-mail ako sa kanya ng ilang beses, para sana i-review niya yung post ko. But my pleas fell on DEAF EARs. That account was my bread and butter, intended sa school needs ng anak ko. So what i did, eto gumawa ako ulit ng new account. I am already a Jr. Member but because of this new rule of this ever so noble man, eto balik na naman ako sa newbie. I am not in any way a "shitposter". I do my postings constructively and intelligently. I do my homework diligently.
Tanong ko lang makukuha ko pa ba yung mga rewards tokens ko dun sa mga signature campaigns na nasalihan ko back when my account was Jr. Member then? Please mga kabayan, i need an enlightenment about this.

Re: Bitcoin after several years?
by

on 10/09/2018, 16:46:16 UTC
Predicting the future of bitcoin is quite difficult. For the last couple of months crypto market has been extremely unstable but nonetheless, i still believe that Bitcoin maintain its dominance despite an ever-increasing number of ‘cryptos’ entering the fray. And in the months or years to come, bitcoin will reach far more greater heights.

I do agree with you mate, no question about that. Regardless of how the market is showing it, we cannot brush aside the fact that Bitcoin is still the dominant cryptocurrency, being the flag-bearer of all cryptos. And i dare say that it may remain that way for a couple of years further. Although there is an air of uncertainty for bitcoin nowadays, the fact remains that it is still the most sought after cryptocurrency by investors today.
In addition, ever heard of New York banking giant Goldman Sachs? He was having some thoughts on holding bitcoin and cryptocurrency securities on behalf of funds. If ever this materialize, bitcoin price could be in for a boost.

The never ending wave of negative news surrounding cryptocurrencies definitely attribute to market being red. And simply because of this, people lose confidence and questions whether if there will ever be a good future to look forward to with regards cryptocurrencies. Let's also cannot ignore the capabilities of the so-called large-scale investors to easily manipulate crypto market by cashing out on short contracts.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
by
AteenaD
on 28/08/2018, 18:45:09 UTC
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

OP it's a good thing that it was only an "almost" and not totally. Having a job that you can positively have the benefit of freedom from all the financial worries or hardship, life has to bring is most certainly a blessing. Not all can be given that right set of circumstances. You were undoubtedly "lucky" to wake up to reality soon enough. Although, from time to time we can earn huge in cryptocurrency, that does not change the fact that cryptocurrencies were extremely volatile and completely unpredictable. Let us all be intelligent enough to know the difference of steady from occassionally.

Re: ETH ready to bounce back?

Judging from the prices on the market today, ethereum prices have indeed risen, but ethereum's price increases have been significant so it is very difficult to say if ethereum prices have risen again.
but I am sure that ethereum prices will rise again in the next few months.

You were absolutely correct. It is indeed a sight for sore eyes. However i look at the current prices of all cryptocurrencies in the market today, i can't help but smile and yearn for this series of developments to just continue for as long as it can. Seeing that my favorite currency [ethereum] is having an improvement after a while, gives me hope and strength to be more productive.

Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD
by

on 25/08/2018, 16:03:44 UTC
Frankly speaking, i only hold my tokens while the market is in bear mode. I do not have the intention of holding them for a very long time, at least not all of them. But when the market suddenly make an unexpected turn of events or an upturn is becoming apparent, my objective is to trade them. That is if only i can see that my tokens will yield an enormous returns.
So you see, holding for me is up to a certain time only.

Bounty Manager,
Why is signature spreadsheet for WEEK: #5 (09.08-15.08) and WEEK: #6 (16.08-22.08) still not updated?
We are currently running on Week #7 (23.08-29.08, 2018).
Thank you.

Re: Ethereum is just Shitcoin, coming down 100 dollars. What do people think of this
by

If Mr. Hayes speaks of ethereum as a shitcoin, where do the other altcoins stands? If we were to think about this, Ethereum has the backing of more than 150 organizations working together to ensure the widespread adoption of this altcoin. Wide range of industries were taking advantage of it's platform. It only means one thing, ethereum is one heck of an altcoin.
Do these organizations and industries find ethereum a shitcoin? NO, i don't think so.

Re: I have received some tokens. Should I sell or hold?
by
AteenaD
on 22/08/2018, 20:08:30 UTC
I am a full time bounty hunter. But I am not good at making decisions. Because recently I have received some tokens from a bounty campaign. Now I am really confused about, should I sell the tokens or should I hold them for the price to be a rise?

Note: The token company is saying that the price will go higher. On the other hand, some experts are saying that the token is not good enough to go higher price. What should I do?

I am not convinced as to what those so called experts said. Nobody can really foresee the end result of those tokens at this stage. Set your views in a more bouyant way. Who knows? I'd say hold your tokens for quite sometime - up until the market had an upturn. Then and only then, you can decide what to do with those tokens.

Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed?
by
AteenaD
on 21/08/2018, 16:05:07 UTC
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?

I vehemently do not agree that bounty managers were to be blame. Bounty Managers were just there to supervise or oversee that the bounty campaign was in order. I am truly convinced that even them had the slightest idea beforehand that the ICO they were handling was a scam. I once had an experience with an ICO that appeared to be a scam. The bounty manager was the one that advised all the bounty hunters to stopped from all our tasks because he had that strange feeling that it was really a fraud. He saved us totally from wasting our works. From that moment on, I am actually convinced that he is the best bounty manager this forum had ever had. I strongly believe that if we have to blame someone, it should have been their admins.

Yes, no question about it, maybe not today or tomorrow or in the coming days BUT surely crypto market will recover. I am certain that it will not stay this way forever. We've already experienced this kind of situation before and as always our warring spirit manifest in the end - the result, my portfolio is unscathed. One thing that i've learned in this forum is - keeping my patience unyielding. Let us all be positively optimistic that at the fourth quarter of this year, a different scenario is bound to happen. [i am eyeing for an exceptionally huge returns in my wallet - fingers cross]

Re: I have about 16 litecoins. Should I invest all of that into ETH and other coins?
by
AteenaD
on 17/08/2018, 17:25:44 UTC
OP, If i may suggest. Keep 5 portions of your Litecoins and the remaining 11 portions, invest it in Ethereum. Base on the current values of these 2 altcoins in the coinmarket.com, your 11 Litecoins is equivalent to 2 whole ethereums. Diversify. Both coins were potentialy stable investments for the future.
Litecoin = has less volatile price movements in comparison to other digital currencies. Perceived by many as the better transactional currency due to its faster transaction times and lower transaction fees. Has managed to stay a regular fixture in the top ten largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
Ethereum = the growth of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance [EEA] with more than 150 organizations, is a strong indication that this coins potential to be the worlds foremost enterprise blockchain. [I think this says it all]

on 17/08/2018, 12:07:11 UTC
Hey guys, bitcon is now 6k again... what do you think, will bitcoin go to 5k or it is just a short fall and it is going to be 8k again soon?

Who knows? As of this writing, with all the cryptocurrencies that was listed in coinmarketcap.com, Bitcoin was the only that has loses in the last 24h. All the top altcoins, were amongst the gainers. Anyway, for long term holders, this kind of information was very much irrelevant. I share the enthusiasm and commitment of those that patiently awaits for the maturity of their long time goal with bitcoin. However, if and only if bitcoins value escalate to $8k soon, i actually believe that many long term holders will have a change of heart.

I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

Absolutely. And i am speaking from my own experience. I don't know how and i have no inkling that my crypto wallet will be hacked. I am so darn careful in handling it but it just did. Hackers can really turn the impossible to possible.

Though the entire crypto market now looks frustrating and like it will not recover again but I am sure and with my experience and number of years I have spent here, I believe the altcoins especially the potential ones will recover from the bear and it will even rise higher when the bull market starts.

True. I am with you 100% OP. Bear market is not meant to stay forever. After some time it will surely come to pass and bull market will materialize once and for all along with all the altcoins. Though some altcoins proved to be valuable like Ethereum, Cardano, Litecoin, Bitcoin cash, Ripple, Verge and Neo. These altcoins have all the good potential to rise in value and have a long term vision.

Re: Still HODL?
by
AteenaD
on 15/08/2018, 20:41:49 UTC
Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?

Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...

Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?

Without a doubt, still HODL OP. Did you happen to browse, coinmarketcap.com recently? All cryptocurrencies value were plummeting. Naturally this is the very best time to buy and then hodl. With what's happening in the crypto market today, the most appropriate thing we can do is hodl our precious coins up until it's value tripled from the time we bought them. This way, immense profit is guaranteed on hand.
