Yeah consistency is key here, and the problem with the re-branding is that nothing is consistent.

Who cares. Look at the coin. It sells itself. Buy now before the masses take notice.

I agree, and I am Smiley but following the coin on twitter would be much easier if everyone used the same tags lol

Well, I think I know what is going on here.  I'm thankful for tx42, the dev, all the people who have helped, and I will be staying far away from CCEX!!

Can't wait to see more detail/instruction on this app!  I'd like to know more about it.

Can someone explain the TOKEN to a newb like me?  Can TOKEN be sent to a standard NTX address?  Thanks...

TOKEN is an asset on the NXT asset exchange which has partial ownership over several other assets (including VRC). It can be sent to a standard address.
Thank you!

What if ssd can beat darkcoin and be worth 100k sat? Smiley hold and buy low!!
Well lets be realistic... no anonymous coin has come close to darkcoin, but it should be an interesting ride once the app is released Smiley

I can imagine a situation where people donating about 100 VRC are holding as strong of a vote as someone who donated 100,000.  You could get trolls coming out of no-where, getting together, and throwing 100 VRC each to swing votes in a direction that may not represent the community properly.  I think weighted votes are the only way to do it.

Something like:
100VRC-1000VRC donated = 1 vote
1001VRC-10,000VRC = 2 votes
10,001VRC-30,000VRC = 2.5 votes
30,001VRC-50,000VRC = 3 votes

Just an example.. I'm sure it could be structured fairly, albeit I'm not the best to go for advice on this but it seems like a fair method to me...

The community is friendly, optimistic, and encouraging.  Also, a strong development lead will help see this coin through the route of success.  Welcome aboard, new members!  I see quite a few buyers on the exchanges.

Also as a side note, I love the name of this coin Smiley SSD is an easy acronym for people to recognize (with SSD HDD's etc) and I love the fun nature behind the full name.

I'm interested to see where this goes.  The coin has huge potential... but such little exposure to the mainstream crypto enthusiasts.  Time will tell, soon enough.  So far, it looks very promising to be a top contender.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I remember him too. He was alright ol' coine.
talk about winding back the VRC clock their.

lol that just shows how long i've been around lmao
He started the topic on Dirac so maybe it's bryce and he's no longer interested in this coin?  Or someone close to him that has equal thoughts on the subject... that's my guess anyway

The accusations that are still being made here are hilarious and short sighted.  It's obvious that the coin would have died off if the rollback did not take place.  It's obvious that everyone hates hackers and they got what they deserved.  It's obvious people here have their own agenda and will fight to the death (online) over this.  To each their own.

I am happy with the coin, the devs, and the community.  The loud minority continues to play their music, but I will not let it sway my opinions just because they are persistent.  Make your own decisions.

Mintpal made a bad decision to keep MOST of its users' VRC holding in their hot wallet. The VRC devs bailed out Mintpail.

The principal is the same.

Such silly smoothie posts Roll Eyes

Mintpal got lucky that Vericoin is early on enough and the devs wanted the users to not be fucked over in this case.

So it is what the devs want. I got it.

Now we can both agree VRC operates as a dictatorship much like the Federal Reserve System. Thank you for clarifying that.

And no there isn't anything silly about my posts. They are the facts.

Facts seem silly to people who don't want to view the truth for what it is and prefer to be in denial.

Vericoin developers gave users the option to join a new blockchain that rolled back the part where someone stole the $2 million worth of coin.  We all here had the choice to not do this.  Exchanges had the choice to not participate.  etc etc.   The majority of people voted with their wallets on this decision, this choice probably will not be something possible later in the life of the coin.  It was an opportunity to make right of a shitty situation.  Just the facts.   You are in denial that people live happily thinking about and using digital currencies in a different way than you lol.

Could not have said it better myself, thank you!
