The problem is racing cars have constantly burnt out tires, while graphics cards have electromigration and total errosion of GPU long term  Wink

Not in the useful mining lifetime of the card.

www.LocalBitcoins.com - LocalBitcoin seems to be pretty popular. I've had friends that have used it and every time it went without bad events.

I'm quite curious how you got the guy's address, name, and all his other data. You're more dangerous than him.

It was also pretty weird from the start by the fact that he didn't want to give a vouch copy. Actually he said that vouches are not longer available. How can that be if he didn't give any from the start?

Most of the time it's just a matter of common sense. Scammers are pretty obvious and if a deal seems too good to be true then it probably is.

So I've had an uncle one that liked to bet a lot. Like everyday. In the end he got very much in debt and got shot by loan sharks. That's my experience so far.

Re: what happens if the bitcoin disappear ?

I doubt it will disappear. Let's remember that all coins will be mined in 100 years from now so it will be here for a long time to stay. This was a very well thought thing to do by Satoshi.
Yes, Satoshi's idea of this digital and cryptography based currency does not reside on a single computer. So, no force will disturb it. And as OP is talking about after 10 years, then there will be laws made for them, so it will be not easy for it to disappear.
120 years until all BTC is mined - I don't think there is a motiv to worry. Especially if you consider that as time goes and BTC will be harder to mine it's price will grow.

I've seen a post somewhere on the web - don't remember exactly where thought, but what it said was something in the lines of: 2015 total global expenses of war - 1795 billion$, while the necessary $ to end world wide hunger was 170 I believe. Just a thought.

The price has constantly been growing since the beginning. It's pretty steady even with the occasional drops.
Also - you don't have to worry about scammers influencing the price much. If these scams were working the influence would have been obvious.

Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin?

The best approach would be to invest few grand currently and wait for the price to increase to say 2-3k per BTC then sell them. You won't really get rich but your money can be doubled if you invest properly.

Many websites of investment bitcoin are scam. You must be a smart investors and choose trusted invest site.

You don't have to be real smart mate.
Most scams are too obvious...

If it's to goo to be true then don't do it.
New site? Just wait a few months to see if it still exist and read some testimonials.
exactly - the real methods will reveal themselves. Scams will sink to the bottom pretty quickly. It's common sense.

You don't actually think that someone that has a good idea to gain BTC will really post it here do you? There are a lot of ideas but I don't think someone that has found a good method will really share it.

Summary for those of you who haven't worked it out yet.

You know thats BS right, you completely dismiss the amount of gambling industry, video games, remittance, online services, investments, etc..

Basically there are much more things for what bitcoin can be used, so dont be too negative on bitcoin.
You can make a quick google search and see that there are a lot of companies that are accepting BTC and their list is growing slowly but steadily every day.So it's not just for drugs. Also AK-47's. I'm joking of course!

In a way many people haven't even heard of BTC or they think it's a game. In time BTC will show it's true value, not just monetary.

The best plan is to take Bitcoin hostage, call his father and demand a ransom - else Bitcoin will start to lose a finger every hour daddy doesn't pay.

Also, have you guys taken into consideration that this drop of value that BTC has suffered is not accidental but it might have been created on purpose and there are some people that have made this way a great deal of money? Just an idea. Food for thought.
