I'm pretty sure the 1000$ barrier won't be broken this time as I believe the halving will occur before BTC reaches the 1000$ mark. And even if it reaches 800$~, I think people will start selling which might cause the price to decrease. All the excitement about the halving is causing the hike now which will soon diminish.

While it's possible to trade with 1$, you won't be making any profit using it. A better thing to do would be to collect all these 1$ you get and when it becomes a reasonable amount, start trading or gambling with it.
