Anyway I cant imagine how it would be possible to burn the coins when all 500 000 have been already distributed, there is only 100 000 coins at sell orders anyway and you would have to buy them all the way up .. unless someone bought coins from his personal assets and wants to burry them now ..

so why do we all waste time discussing burning coins when we should rather focus on the development and how funds should be used for futher development

you have 100 BTC for QBC development :/ capitalization with current price is about 50BTC that is the same like coins that are dead have
If you just invest anything of that funds to development, the price should rise rapidly because inner value of the coin will rise. I cant imagine any other scenario unless you invest those funds really badly (for anonymity and useless things like that) so the inner value would not be increased then.

Well the situation is not good. We have vision and pretty good ideas, but we dont have people who would help us to implement them and we dont have any funds to hire such people.

Brief weekly update: We are still in the phase of transition. We gather people to a new team and we work on ideas and short+long term goals. There is really not much to say. We have some revolutionary ideas, but they are in very early state now, so we dont really want to publish them yet. We dont want to promise something that we are not sure that it will be done. We had several many hours long videoconferences where we discussed future of the coin and we made a platform where we work together.

Thing is that previous team announced big promises like the one with merchants and hyped the coin without any good reason. And when they realized that they cannot fulfill them, most of them left the coin and there were just Coinerz and jia to help with the transition and of course mindfox who is always there. Anyone can create fud and complain about everythin, but who is willing to step up and actually start working ? Well anyone can, there is no barriers and you can join the project any time. I dont really blame people for their scepticism as they are often fooled by big announcements and empty promises from the ones who are either unrealistic or who just want their money. I have many other commitments but if that would be the only thing i could promise, I promise i will work for xbc as hard as I can because I like the community around, some people who were always positive no matter how bad it looked with the coin and because I would really like to see some of our ideas beying  implemented.

Original dev left the coin 3 months ago with all the funds from IPO

Mindfox is still with the coin and he was always in XBC. We are in contact with him and we discuss further development. Beef even wrote that few posts before.

I have sent 100 XBC to mindfox (http://explorer.mindfox.net/tx/feebae6475edda637af8961b3c53e9280676c1c9cb9b666a6ba0ed6d7cbc46f5#o1) and I can send him more in the future. I have a new system of rewarding people for their contribution in my mind. I hope mindfox will be more appreciated for his tremendous work after that, though Im aware that it all depends on voluntariness of xbc holders.


Well about what is going on in last few days, it seems that people were waiting do dump on the expected pump at the time when of XBC addition on mintpal and when the pump didnt happen, they panicked and started to sell lower and lower. In the long term view, previous team abandoned the ship and we were busy to set up a new team, get community together and work on our visions and short/longterm plans. It seems that people are impatient because they are used to hear big words and plans now and then about almost every coin and we rather keep on the ground because there is still lot work ahead of us. Only the future will answer your last question, but I think it is possible if things go well

We cannot really underestimade Energycoin and other coins.

I did some math. We have 5114 votes more than ENRG right now.
In last 16 hours ENRG got 674 votes x XBC got 110. Thats 564 difference. There are 180 remaining hours until 21.7.
180/16 * 564 = 6345

So if it would continue this way. Energycoin will have 1231 votes more than us when the new coin is added on 21.7

Yes, those voting gains are very suspicious, they had regularly 5 votes and then immediately moved to 50 per hour. Energycoin and Mjollnircoin the same. Anyway its like CryptoYoda said, if they will continue to receive so crazy number of votes and we will not improve, they will be added after next week. I was considering some rewards for people voting on mintpal, but I dont know if it is not forbbiden. Anyone knows ?
