In all seriousness, it would never happen. Modern currencies are far too ingrained to disappear anytime soon, and most likely by the time that happened all of the BitCoins would be fully mined, and we'd probably be dead.

Yes, but I'm sure people don't enjoy the inflation that's caused by having worthless paper as money. If the amount of Bitcoins are really limited they would be a much better currency inflation-wise

Anyone claiming to be a Bitcoin banker is probably a scammer. Don't trust them or you might be sorry. I've seen people who were too trusting get screwed over too many times in real life so I know how things usually turn out.

I'd like to request being white listed please. You'll see in my posts I'm not a spammer, but I am quite active and love to share ideas. I can see bitcoins doing much more then they are now in the future and it's an opportunity I wouldn't like to pass up. This could be just like windows when it first got started, who knows. If there is anything I love though it is new fresh stuff and I'm ready to see more possibilities come from this source of money. 
This would face some serious design challenges. In order to provide good gameplay you need to be able to regulate the in game economy, which can be tough with a currency that you don't have full control over.
Yep, looking at it I know it'd be one huge challenge so I'm not even sure if it's possible yet. Everything had to have an idea before it was created though. Not all ideas are winners but I thought I'd share this one anyways.
Nice idea. So many things that can be done with BitCoins. Have to do alot of work on your in-game economy tho. Most games have huge inflation issues.
OMG that is so true! XD One time I played an mmo that had been hacked so badly the money was practically worthless so we had to barter in items.

Of coarse we would also have to worry about graphics and music and such.
What if an mmo were created from this new line of currency? Some of the items that people would really be after would end up being super rare or dropped by incredibly strong monsters and you can only buy them with the BP's but you could also resell the same item for more or less BP's. Some items would be discontinued and rare so they would increase in value over time while others would have a steady value.

I have mixed feelings about this. Any news about bitcoins spreading around is good but Al Jazeera has a very bad anti-American reputatation. They went out of their way to tell the terrorist side of the story in Iraq and as an anonymous currency it isn't a good idea to associate with that kind of thing. As a libertarian I know drugs should be legal so things like silk road are okay but there should be a way to root out other criminal groups who try and use bitcoin.

Amen to that, if we're never open minded and unite with one another how else will any of the newer ideas get out and about so other people will get the chance to hear about them. Racial stereo typing isn't normal, it's only a mere tool that is used to segregate and separate people so they can't work as a team.
