Cryptsy still in maintenace.

Any chance to get Cryptsy back online? May be remove that "chatbox wallet" that does not sync from OP and point them to original wallet?

Is this "DEV" still around?

if there is anyone, who at least could try to tellme why i'm not able to sync my wallet beyond block 130014 even afrer reinstalling everything after also deleting the blockchain etc.. i would be thankful...

Forget the wallet with that chat thing, use the wallet from "Downloads" section of first post. That one works.
Or better, build one from git sources Wink

Why still frozen on Polo? Thanks  Smiley
Because linux wallets does not sync. Its same on Cryptsy - they also were unable to sync wallet.

I could tell you why, but they would delete my post again. I shared here my findings from linux wallet debugging and devs deleted it...

I'm pretty sure that cryptsy will open the market when annon will be released Smiley The are waiting for bigger volume, it's unprofessional, but true.
I hope it will be tomorrow or even today (happy birthday minerjoen Smiley ).

They are waiting for linux wallet to be able to sync... Same as poloniex. Noone runs exchange on win wallets.

Its really really strange, that windows wallet syncs and linux wallet built with same tools does not. Almost seems like provided windows wallet is built from different sources than sources that are available on git. I wonder why...

Its said, pow was cut @ 3800050000. Then i wonder whats this : http://chainz.cryptoid.info/glyph/block.dws?55976.htm

My wallet built from latest git sources does not stake - but my old win wallet stakes.

I believe dev is way too busy with glyphs sister coin...

What happens when they get all the coins? Do they get to make pos off themselves?

2 biggest wallets are Cryptsy and Bittrex. Just create cryptsy address, send some coins there and ull see your address in one of those wallets in some time.

Exchanges do not stake coins. Its also easy to check: just look at transactions in one of those biggest wallet address, no pos blocks there.

Pools (proly) and private wallets stake.

Isn't it a better choice just to compile it from the sources?

Sure it is and i already have my wallet recompiled (on my linux vps box).

The thing is if win wallet is not released prior block 38k then somethig is wrong. I hope dev know what they are doing when they wait with this update.

Still holding, but lack of updates isn't a good sign.
Is there anything going on?

GIT sources already have change for coin reduction so exchanges and pools might already have their wallets updated. If win wallet is not published in 4-5 days (till block 38000) then you can start to panic. At least ill start to panic then, ill be panic holding Cheesy

It is why I think you weren't really staking. The encryption could interrupt your staking.
It is also important how long do you have your wallet open. I have it unencrypted and kept open 24 hours a day.
Now more people may decide to stake so it can affect the network weight. I was staking when the most forgot to do so.
Let's see how will it go for you and me in the next days.

how do i turn off the encryption?

Just 1 insignifficant question, do you have your wallet running 24/7 ? I believe not, becuse you got 1 stake now - so you can stake. Wallet needs to be online so your coins can compete on network to be staked!

Thanks for breaking that down for me I found it useful and I do appreciate it.

The more POS blocks the less coins Wink With current 90-100 % of POS blocks Glyph could end with less than 2M coins Wink

Hint: Glyph has twin coin Wink

there is some nice wiki how to stake:

http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Proof_of_Stake

Your blockchain seems to be ok - compare block number to blockchain explorer: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/glyph/

Wallet and blockchain on windows is stored in: c:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\

Can someone explain the minting or staking process to me,, I have had my coins staked since 6/20 and its 6/30 now and no rewards, the wallet says im staking and reward times are always   just a few minutes away, but i never get any steak meat. What is wrong if anything and what should i expect to see as a reward? I see in Chainz that POS rewards are flowing out like crazy, and I'm in line way early. My Glyph Wallet is encrypted and unlocked for staking, and up to date.
Thanks
Filthy

I believe encrypted is the thing
