can't get it to work, does anyone have any ideas....?

Thanks for any help!
If you see "Unknow opencl driver..." at the beginning of the log you need to install newer driver.

Thanks @bategojko74 ..!

Updated drivers - Phoenix worked a few seconds longer - but still quits.

However, claymore works again now, thanks for your help!

Thanks for the suggestion, however, it didn't make any difference, same problem still happens...!

Thanks anyways! Any other ideas out there..?

Hi All,

Am trying out Pheonix Miner for the 1st time (claymore stopped working)

Using Ubuntu, and AMD rx470 4Gb, using amdgpu-pro-17.40 drivers

Can't get it to mine, Pheonix quits after 2 secs into starting

Have made the swap space for Ubuntu big enough for 4 cards, x 4Gb + 4 as recommended

Have tried these options: -amd -altinit -eres 0 -lidag 3

and :
 GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

can't get it to work, does anyone have any ideas....?

Thanks for any help!

Do I hear right that Claymore is no longer being developed / maintained...? Where has this been confirmed...?
I know he's posted it here in this thread, I don't know the exact page.
If it's not this (Dual ETH miner) miner, I might have mistook it from his other miners but I'm 65% certain I'm correct.

-Edit-
Weird, this was his last post: /index.php?topic=1433925.msg53050842#msg53050842, there's no official announcement of "last version".
But I remembered that there was a long post here about the final version.... hmm.

Nevermind my previous statement then.

Thanks for your reply @nc50lc, I also couldn't find anything while searching.

Anyone else having a problem getting 4gb cards to mine at the moment..?

Anyone else found that mining has stopped working...? I have 4Gb AMD 470s and recently Claymore v15 is only giving error messages, though I thought we were some time away from being unable to use 4Gb anymore...Huh

If you have problems with 4GB AMD cards, make sure that you set environment variables correctly. Also try to set them system-wide (for example as described here https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/r-enterprise/1.5.1/oread/creating-and-modifying-environment-variables-on-windows.html) and reboot to apply them.
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE must be 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT must be 100
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT must be 100

can confirm this works, & solves the DAG issue - on linux, with amd 4gb cards

thanks mr claymore

For everyone who is having issues with the DAG during the new epoch, remove or disable one of your GPUs and see if it works then.

If it works then you most likely need more memory, either virtual or RAM.

If it still doesn't work, then its some software issue.

Hard to diagnose this issue since some people are getting it while other's are not.

tried with only 1 GPU enabled, still not working...

Lower your driver version to 19.7.1 or lower and your DAG issue will be resolved.

Thanks, but presume that refers to a windows driver...? I'm on Linux, and the driver has not updated recently...
