Most people hopped on the maxcoin train including myself, which was extremely profitable. Once that dies down miners will be back Hashrate will go up and so will the price, think of this as an opportunity to buy in low.

How are some people still connecting to YPool?  I've tried every port

:8080 working for me on 2 rigs.  one with 4x 280's and another single 7950.  totaling about 830MH/s

Are you using xptproxy or just connecting straight to the line. Mind posting your config for your 280s, would greatly appreciate it.

I can't currently connect to or mine on any pools atm, anyone else? ;w;

I just pointed my cards at rocketpool, it works, but not the way it should. Share/Difficulty distribution seems way off still. Almost looks as if I'm solo mining but then with like 50 accepts in a row in a matter of a second.

Difficulty back up, past 1,000.

My wallet says 694, I doubt it will get back to 1000 until 1gh is back up, or another cuda friendly pool shows itself.

type getmininginfo in the debug console of the wallet. Help-> Debug window -> console

For those of you trying to mine on ypool

Go to How To, Click Doge, Download the xptproxy

Launch the proxy. use the address http://localhost:8332 with all your configure for cudaminer etc.

It should be able to connect and mine Smiley

Basically download this:

http://jhwork.net/ypool/xptproxy.zip

then cudaminer blah blah -o http://localhost:8332

bumping this for visibility.

All my shares get rejected there....hmmm.

Sold a block on e coins already, its a bit frustrating as it seems your orders don't always post. Anyone else experiencing this? I just spam until they pop up.

cudaminer --algo=keccak -C 2 -L 128 -H 2 -l F1000x16 -i 0  -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333 -u x -p x

hey guys. Your command lines and screenshots look allright. Can't see anything fishy.

But even my 3 GTX 780TIs are having a hard time finding any shares now.
mining difficulty around 300 now (dropped off slightly).

Consider pool mining for a steady trickle of income.

Christian

Have any other pools in mind beside 1gh?

I switched all 6 of GPUs over to max.1gh.com and I'm not getting any (yay!!!). I'm getting them on my CPUs, though... Not sure what that's all about.

post your command line for the GPU miners and a screenshot of one, maybe?

Its the same way for me, new lines come in very slow and Ive only seen 1 accepted share so far, cant tell if difficulty is really high or somethings not right?  Atleast the only block I found confirmed  Grin

I was mining from the blank cmd...then I closed everything to download the new wallet with a gui and now I'm only getting json_rpc_call failed. Is this a node issue or and I just have to wait for it to connect or do I have to redo my configuration.

Ive made a huge mistake?

update windows wallet from github (new exe file), delete your peers.dat in %APPDATA%\MaxCoin and you should be OK

Thanks, worked like a charm, been following this thread and your work since mid January. Got a decent amount going for me with Vert so far. Youll likely see a donation from me in the future if things pick up Cheesy

Also GTX 760 Users my current config is pulling 98 - 109,000k per card

 --algo=keccak -d 0 -L 256 -H 2 -C 2 -m 1  -l K998x32

My question is this: I have to 760s running at 90000 Khash each but when I check the debug file in app data it still says my hash rate is like 340 k/hash. Just trying to understand the differentiation here with the keccak alg.

Also how can I check my balance since its only a blank cmd prompt, Ive seen an accepted share, but I dont even know my own wallet address. Thanks!

I'm curious what makes Bitcrush so popular? 1450 miners and 1.4Ghash, even with registrations closed.

Not to mention their fees are terrible. Theyve been one of the more stable pools though, I remember switching to it a while back, when many were down. Noped out of there pretty quick after.

I have two 560 ti 1GB and from basing your stats off the numbers Ive seen with my cards, it seems your about maxing out the performance you can get. I cant push either of my 560 TIs past .44kh/s on scrypt jane and about 175 k/hs on scrypt usually with -l F7x1. A thing to remember with the flags, is that it doesnt matter where or what order you put them in as long as the syntax is right.

the X kernel was meant to push Fermi a bit further with scrypt-jane. Together with -L 2 or -L 3 you might see some 1.x kHash/s for Jane.

The next release version will likely have kernel names like FS, FJ for the respective scrypt and scrypt-jane versions.

Thanks Christian, I had read about the X kernel earlier in the the thread, didnt realize it was in the recent 122 commit that I already had  Tongue. I saw my scrypt-jane numbers double to about .88k/h from before so good improvement there. I've got two 4GB 760s arriving today to replace these old 560 ti 1GB so it was a good send off to see their numbers double  Cheesy Thanks again for all the work on this.

Hey folks, relatively new to this, but I'm trying to squeeze the most I can out of my GTX 550Ti..

Just letting it auto-tune I'm gettting low 90kh/s on scrypt coins, and .44kh/s on scrypt-jane (was hoping for > .65kh/s) I've tried changing some of the commands, but it usually ends up crashing my driver. For example, I don't know where to put the kernel command in the code  Huh . I've noticed some are definitely  better than others. (F32x4 > F83x2) Part of the problem is I dont really understand what the commands do... I'm sure at some point in these 150+ pages this has been addressed, but, my search is to broad Sad I appreciate any help I can get.

ok, i have had a little success patorbeli Smiley now i got it to working with -a scrypt-jane -i 0 -H 0 -m 0 -C 0 -l F2x3 -o , im only getting 0.37/0.40 on my gtx 560 ti and the computer becomes impossible to use, but its better than nothing.
Still attempting other setting, but most crash the driver :s

I have 2x GTX 560 ti SC 1GB and the highest I could get my cards to run was around .5ish (Yacoin) so your in the ballpark. Try config 7x1 and you might be able to get a bit of a boost.
